Holiday rentals with lake access in Santa Maria Maior

I stayed in Alcochete for 6 weeks and both the house and area exceeded expectations (which were high to begin with). The town is a treasure, being both delightful and close to Lisbon (30 minutes by bus). The house is perfect for one or two people (maybe more). and has a good internet connection for working. The agent Vitoria was responsive and helpful (albeit unable to fix a nationwide power outage!) Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful, everything works perfectly well. We had only one problem, on the last day the hot water failed and it did not return until we left. Unfortunately on this day the host did not respond promptly as usual and the solution presented did not work. However, I considered this problem to be something punctual, since the house was wonderful and everything worked very well. So I think it was an isolated situation and I didn't let it influence mew review in general. I recommend the house and would return peacefully. Everything was very well presented, the house is modern, super clean, excellent bathroom, perfect shower, my passengers loved it.

We do really enjoyed our stay at Maria’s place, she was extremely helpful with check-in and all instructions. House is super cozy and with a big swimming pool. This is a perfect place to take a rest from a busy city. I highly recommend! Thank you Maria from all of us!

Hassle-free stay, very responsive and available host. The place is very nice. You could be more careful in the surroundings of the pool but nothing that jeopardizes the comfort and quality of the stay. I recommend it.

Jaques' apartment is just like the photos, everything is new and you don't lack anything... Jaques left some gifts and we saw him at our entrance, apart from the fact that you don't lack anything. She left salt, oil, sugar, basic items that, many times, in other apartments, they leave you nothing! The apartment was super clean, the bed is very comfortable, the location is very quiet... for those of you who want to rest, it's the right apartment. To go to Lisbon, we went by car and parked there, so we can't comment on the ferry or bus that takes you to Lisbon... we liked it a lot, we hope to repeat! :)

I cannot express how lovely Antonio and Maria are! They were so accommodating to our late flight. They gave us a warm welcome. When we arrived, they directed us to a restaurant because we were all so hungry and hadn’t eaten due to getting in late. The place was beautiful and fully equipped. It had everything!! They left toys for my kids. There was plenty of space for my family and I! The surroundings were gorgeous and the beach that was a 2 minute drive was stunning. Maria and Antonio came to fix the dishwasher when it wasn’t working and they went above and beyond for me. I would absolutely stay here again. And it wasn’t far from Lisbon or Sesimbra (which was also gorgeous). Thank you for such a wonderful stay and being so accommodating xxxx

Our stay at the House was great. The accommodation is outside of Lisbon and away from city rush. It was very spacious and we had a great time. Anthony and Ana were really caring and we felt really welcome !

We had a great stay at Patrick's villa. Communication was excellent; he responded quickly to any queries, even printing off Latin revision homework for our granddaughter and dropping it at the house, which she really appreciated. As a mixed generations group it worked perfectly as a house, with 2 suites downstairs and 2 upstairs, all with full bathrooms. At night shutters could be lowered automatically which gave added security when travelling with 2 little girls and also ensured a good night's sleep without early morning sun waking us. Air conditioning was good with individual controls The kitchen was well equipped, everything provided. The pool was lovely, a good size and pleasantly warm, although as a minor point softer sunbeds would be a bonus. We made full use of the table tennis and pool tables, as well as using the bbq which is at the rear of the garden. The beaches are vast, a very peaceful area without the commercialism of the Algarve. Thank you Patrick for your hospitality.

We had a great stay here, the apartment was excellent - very spacious and clean. Lin was a great host and provided clear instructions for check in.

Luis Felipe's apartment is very welcoming and cared for in every detail. My husband and I are very satisfied. On the other hand, we had already been there years ago and a great choice was confirmed.

Renovated apartment, modern, well equipped and, above all, well located, close to excellent bakery and pizzeria, supermarkets, pharmacy and metro. The neighborhood is residential, quite nice and green and in the neighborhood of the accommodation is the beautiful Parque das Conchas, a great option for a tour for those who have children, like us. Our host, Mr. Jorge Bento, was always present, helping us with everything we need. We love it! Lynnyngs, Francisco, Filipa and Augusto.

The apartment is very well done and fully equipped. It was very pleasant and comfortable. Guillherme was a great host - always responsive and helpful. Note that it is a 15 minute walk to center city just as indicated in the listing.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, very well located, modern and cozy. I spent 20 wonderful days of vacation with my children and we love it! I've been to several places in Portugal and Vera's apartment is without a doubt one of the best! Everything was perfect, we highly recommend!

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and very nice decoration, it has everything you need to feel at home. We had a mishap, and they helped us right away to solve it with very good will and kindness. I highly recommend it.

David’s place was great! Right by the beach, kitchen was decently equipped, and the WiFi was fast (800+ Mbps). Perfect little spot for the price. Would stay here again!

It was a great stay, the house is super cozy, the place is super quiet for those looking to relax and have peace. A great garden, and a jacuzzi. I would like to highlight the reception of Mrs. Ilda, who was very friendly. A house and place I recommend to everyone!

Francisca for me really is a superhost. From the beginning until we left she was always there for us with helpful information concerning the house oder things you can do around in this Area. A big big thank you for letting us live in your home. We enjoyed really a lot . The house which is a littler bit older but has lots of charme has two bigger sleeping rooms and one smaller children room, so it is perfect for a family with two to four or even five children( there is even a baby bed ) . The house has a nice atmosphere and the garden ist perfect to play badminton or other games . The Area is perfect if you like to play golf, because the courses are in walking distance . For all the other things you need a car . A small super market is two minutes away with the car . The beaches of Fonta de Telha oder Costa da Caparica you reach in 10 Minutes with the car, to Lisbon you need about twenty minutes, if there’s a normal traffic, so for us this was strategically the best place to start our activities . We would come back anytime to have our holidays here again . Thomas Schneider

I travelled with my family of 4 to Maria’s. The property is a dream, we stayed in Casa das Alcachofras. The attention to detail, the comfortability and quietness, we loved our time there and will definitely come back!! Thank you Maria for being such a great host.

Our stay at Casa das Hortas was just fantastic, Maria, the host , has put a lot of care to create a very confortable retreat where you can find all you might need. The house is very nice and cozy and has everything you may need for your stay Besides that, Maria welcomed us with a fantastic basket full of local products and form the home orchard that were just delicious. The house is placed in a very nice private property where you can walk around freely and has plenty of things to do. Unfortunately, we were not very lucky with the weather and we had some rainy days, but that gave us the chance to use the fantastic chimney to create a cozy atmosphere. Alcalcer do Sal and nearby Comporta offer good day trips and restaurants We hope to come back again !

We thoroughly enjoyed Nunos place, the location is excellent and the surroundings are picturesque and peaceful. The home is well equipped, comfortable and an enjoyable place to spend time. Nuno was excellent at communicating and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning.
