Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Santa Maria Maior

Our host Sophia was extremely helpful and always responsive. My family had a wonderful time visiting Lisbon. The house was very comfortable for our family of eight. We would highly recommend this bnb for any family visiting Portugal!

One of my favourite AirBnBs I've stayed in!! Joao was extremely responsive and helpful, the house is even better than depicted, everything was perfectly clean and brilliant for a big group. the bathrooms and bedrooms especially all felt clean and modern, and the pool was just lovely. great to have privacy yet be so close to the city center! I honsetly couldn't reccomend this place more 🙏 Thank you for a lovely stay!

Mauricio and Co were very helpful in accommodating me and my friends when we visited, the property was in a nice neighbourhood and the house itself was amazing inside and out. Would recommend if you’re looking to visit Lisbon.

Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in Carlos’s apartment. Everything we needed was there. If I had any issues at all Carlos was extremely prompt at responding and resolving things. I had misinterpreted the apartment as having a garden. There are 2 outside chairs at the end of the driveway within locked gates but not a ‘garden’ as such. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A very nice house with a nice swimming pool. A minute or 10 drive from the beach and a small half hour to the center of Lisbon. The owner is easily accessible and answers all the questions you have and can also give all kinds of tips on what to do.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Undoubtedly one of my favourite holiday accomodations. Simon's place is tasteful and full of character, equipped to the teeth; a real home. Comfortable living on a quiet street of a bustling neighbourhood with excellent local restaurants, a cute square, supermarkets and deli's to boot. Perhaps one of the best views of the cityscape can be found from the apartment balcony where you can sit and watch the sun setting over the terracotta tiled rooftops of Lisboa, best enjoyed with a cup of tea. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to stay in Simon's home, it has inspired our own homes and made our trip to this beautiful little city memorable.

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

The accommodation is super well equipped, quiet and well located. Gonçalo took very good care of us. The check-in and check-out process was also very quiet. We'd host again. Thank you Gonçalo.

We had a great stay at Maria’s place ! The location was amazing, not too close to the city centre so the area was very calm and quiet but just close enough to be able to reach everything with a quick 6-10min car ride. Transportation is also super easy with a tram stop being right out the door. The host was also incredibly accommodating, and allowed us to drop off our luggage before check in. With any issues they were very easily accessible to reach and answered promptly. I would happily recommend this place to anyone !!

Great place to stay in Sintra! Nice location, walkable, peaceful and great restaurants nearby. Easy walk to city center. Near train station. Gracious host!

This place was so much nicer than we even expected! The balcony view is so nice, the inside of the apartment is very spacious (it was me, my partner and our nearly 2 year old son) and the location was perfect, near the beach and beautiful parks and cafes. Claudio was an excellent host, we are so grateful for this stay. He also had left us with some food/drinks which was lovely! Highly recommend and will stay again when visiting 😊

The apartment was exactly as described. Per effect for our group of 5 . It was spotless clean and beds super comfortable. Close to some nice bakeries for fresh bakes and brunch. Close to metro 2/3 mins away. Would highly recommend. Apartment is on third floor and there’s no lift but we managed fine.Will definitely stay there again if in Lisbon.

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

A perfect stay. Very clean house identical to the photos, located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the beaches. Perfect for a long weekend or even a week's vacation. The services offered are excellent. Very warm welcome, I would recommend it.

From booking to leaving we could not fault the hosts or property. Before arriving the host answered all our questions - we had concerns about getting around as we chose not to hire a car, host reassured us Uber etc would work out fine for us, even for a supermarket run. He was correct, we had no issues at all and rates are very reasonable. The property was beautifully clean and equipped, a lovely welcome basket awaited us. Hosts messaged a couple of times during our 5 night stay to check we had everything we needed. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Can’t fault it. Thank you!

The most beautiful place, with all the essentials needed. I and two friends stayed during the power outage and Pedro was so helpful! He came along with candles for us and checked in on us during the stay. We will never forget this! Thank you Pedro!

What a joy it is to stay here in this beautiful corner of Portugal. Pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and its surrounding property. We were in Sintra for our son’s wedding and our hosts could not have been more flexible and helpful. Your hospitality made this trip complete.

We felt right at home in this lovely rental. It was so nice, bright, very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Kids (4&6) loved the yard and played everyday for hours while we relaxed in the outdoor kitchen. The beach was a short drive with lots of easy parking in May. Great place to stay for day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Antonio was a great host and easy to reach. They left us lovely fruits and pumpkin jam and delicious cake.
