Apartment holiday rentals in Santa Maria Maior

We loved the apartment. It was super cute and the location couldn’t have been better. There were great restaurants nearby, lots to do in walking distance and yet, the street was quiet and peaceful. If we go back to Lisbon one day, I would love to stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Susana’s place :-) Though, we didn’t expect to climb up such steep and narrow steps up to the apartment but we managed! Susana was responsive, kind and very helpful. Check-in was a breeze and the location is perfect— right in the middle of bustling street in the heart of Lisbon, made this stay incredibly worth it :-) The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, with gorgeous views out into the sea from the balcony and a humble pantry for cooking. Highly recommend.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Un Airbnb digne d’un grand hôtel. Qualité des draps et serviettes. Situé dans un secteur très animé mais pas de bruit dans l’appartement. J’y retournerais.

We've just come back from an amazing few days at Maria's flat which was located centrally. The inside of the flat was decorated beautifully and with the added bonus of the balcony, it meant that we enjoyed coming back to the flat to rest and recharge for a couple of hours in between exploring Lisbon. We went as two couples and there was plenty of space for everyone. Maria was an excellent host and let us leave our luggage on our morning of arrival. We had a couple of minor issues (lift and internet not working) but Maria was on it right away and fixed the issues promptly. We were very sad to leave the flat and would definitely stay here again!

Ce logement est parfait! Il est joli, bien décoré, il sent bon et il est très bien situé au cœur de l’Alfama. En prime, la petite terrasse partagée nous a beaucoup plu. Nous y avons passé quatre nuits et avons profité du quartier, de ses festivités et de la ville en general. Nous avons voyagé au début juin et le quartier est tres animé le soir avec de la musique et beaucoup de monde dans les rues. Idéalement il faut voyager avec un bagage léger car l’appartement n’est pas accessible directement en transport, il faut donc marcher un peu, c’est à dire monter ou descendre quelques escaliers pavés pour l’atteindre. Joana fourni d’excellentes directives pour se rendre. Je retournerais dans ce logement et je n’hésiterais pas à le recommander!

Great place in the heart of Almafa. Although you are right in the middle of the action this place can still feel like a secluded oasis. Would love to stay again!

This place was amazing. Filipe greeted us and gave a tour of the apartment even though it was late. He was very responsive and answered our questions. The place had all the necessary amenities and was very spacious. It was also very close to the main stations and was a great location. Overall would highly recommend this place.

We LOVED the location of the flat which was super walkable to lots of restaurants and local entertainment/ bars, etc. During our stay it was the celebration of St. Anthony’s Day so there was lots of activity and music, singing in the walkways/alleys below which was such an amazing cultural experience. Luckily, we could close all of the windows which made the noise from the outside events barely noticeable. Thanks to Sara for her helpful tips and time spent with us upon arrival to assure we could get into the flat before check-in. I would highly recommend this space to anyone wanting a local and traditional experience in the heart of Lisbon!

L’appartement était très spacieux, lumineux et agréable — parfait pour un couple. Le lit de la chambre est extrêmement confortable, la cuisine spacieuse et bien équipée, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit balcon et le fauteuil à bascule qui ajoutent une touche très cosy. Mais le gros point fort, c’est sans aucun doute l’emplacement exceptionnel : on est en plein cœur de Lisbonne, tout peut se faire à pied, on se sent en sécurité, et il n’y a pas plus central ! C’était un vrai plaisir de pouvoir explorer la ville aussi facilement. Un immense merci aussi pour votre gentillesse et votre flexibilité au moment du départ : avoir pu laisser nos sacs un peu plus longtemps dans l’appartement nous a permis de profiter encore plus de notre dernière journée à Lisbonne. En résumé, un séjour vraiment parfait — nous recommandons à 100% !

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was clean, cozy, quiet and in a good neighbourhood. Everything went excellent. The hosts answered quickly to questions and communication was easy with them.

Para repetir! Zona inmejorable y apartamento muy cómodo. Aire acondicionado, cama cómoda y grande, cocina y baño funcionales. Marta ha estado siempre pendiente de que nuestra estancia fuese ideal.

The apartment looked like the photos. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were happy to use the elevator. The staircase was very pretty. The hallways were very clean.

I booked Fernando's apartment for a business trip with my colleagues. The check-in was super uncomplicated and could be done at the time we wanted. Fernando's wife Sandra was on site and explained everything to us. The apartment is spacious, stylishly furnished and very clean. The location is unbeatable, centrally located in the city centre in the beautiful Alfama. The two bathrooms were very practical for us. There are two sets of flat keys, which was also very helpful for us. We really enjoyed our days in Lisbon! Thank you Sandra, thank you Fernando!

Séjour idyllique dans le logement de Carlos qui a été un hôte accueillant et qui nous a très bien renseigné sur le logement en lui même et sur les alentours (restaurants, supermarchés…).Appartement superbe avec une vue dont on ne se lasse pas et qui devient magique lorsque la nuit tombe ! Emplacement idéal... vue mer. le logement était plus qu'à la hauteur de nos espérances. de grands espaces, logement ideal pour un grand groupe. je recommande!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Lisbonne ! l'appartement de Ricardo, confirme aux photos est très agréable et confortable (jacuzzi) ! Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout y est, et c'est bien organisé. le garage, pour la moto est un grand plus ! Ricardo a toujours été très réactif à nos questions, c'est très appréciable, même si nous n'avons pas pû le rencontrer ! Merci Ricardo

Schöne Wohnung mit großer Terrasse in einem modernen Haus. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Rita war freundlich und problemlos. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in ca. 25-30 Gehminuten erreichbar. Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf sind im direkten Umfeld der Wohnung zu finden. Wer mit dem PKW reist hat in der Tiefgarage einen kostenlosen Parkplatz

A perfect stay in Lisboa. The apartment is within the Old town and it is super easy to get into central from it. Paulo was very easy to communicate with and check in was easy. The pictures give an accurate representation of the accommodation and our whole party were very happy with our stay. A great spot to stay in for a trip to the capital!

Great apartment in great location. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the sunshine and people watch. Really good to have a parking space although narrow entrance and exit. Really good sushi restaurant in the complex. We had a lovely stay.
