Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Santa Maria del Focallo

We had such a lovely stay at Francesso's place and it was very spacious with good character. We noticed all the nice furniture that was handcrafted and unique. Francessco and his family greeted us and showed us around and he was very friendly letting us know that if we needed anything we can just let them know at anytime. We found everything we needed in the apartment and the shower was amazing! We used the location as a good base as it was located well to explore Noto, Ragusa Ilba, Oritigia and Modica, but also the beautiful nature reserve nearby and the crystal waters of the beach Cittadella Dei Maccari. Francessco recommended seeing Porto Paolo and we visited there and had some great seafood which was less pricey than Marzamemi. We enjoyed our stay very much and thank you for a lovely time in your cozy home.

We had a wonderful few days at Sofia’s. The pool and surrounding area were perfect for relaxing, with plenty of seating spots to unwind. We really appreciated the outdoor space which offered a great area to eat and chill. The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the cute & friendly dogs. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Sofia was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Sofia’s is just a 10-minute walk to a nearby beach and a short 5-minute drive to other beaches and supermarkets. We would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Simona’s place. The apartment had everything we needed, but the wow factor is the pool. It’s huge and has a very deep, deep end complete with diving board. In a nice peaceful location about a five minute drive from town, and a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Simona was very attentive and able to help with all of our queries. We even got to experience the amazing cakes and breads that other guests have mentioned! Lovely relaxed stay in a quiet part of Sicily

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

Wir haben uns in Charlies Ferienhaus von Anfang an super wohl gefühlt. Es war alles wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und es fehlte an nichts. Besonders genossen haben wir gemütliche Frühstücke und Abendessen auf den beiden Terrassen oder den ersten Kaffee des Tages auf der Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Mein Lieblingsplatz war die Hängematte - ebenfalls mit Meerblick - auf der man wunderbar relaxen konnte. Das Ferienhaus ist auch ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge. Wir fanden es z.B. im/am "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell'Irminio" super schön, das ist mit dem Auto nur ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Der persönliche Kontakt mit Charlie war sehr nett und ungezwungen. Er ist ein aufmerksamer, aber trotzdem total unaufdringlicher Gastgeber, der jede Menge Tipps für Restaurants, Ausflüge etc. hat. Und wir haben auch mal frische Eier von den Hühnern bekommen. Wir würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank, Charlie, dass wir deine Gäste sein durften :-)

We absolutely adored being in Uccio’s family home for a week 💛 his parents & him were so welcoming and attentive to our needs… our two year old quickly got to know the yard very well and enjoyed playing on the toys there and watching the cats, chickens & dog! He was so cared for by Uccio’s mumma too and she made us all feel so at home… even had a Sicilian cooking lesson! Fresh eggs and the freshest produce… what a beautiful stay. Grazie miele! Alice, Santi und ihre Tochter sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants, aber trotzdem unaufdringlich und respektvoll, was deine Privatsphäre angeht. Die Verständigung auf Englisch war problemlos möglich. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. Sie ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Dazu viele Extras , wie Getränke zur Begrüßung, Gewürze, Öl und auch Kleinigkeiten zum Essen. Das Auto steht sicher auf dem abgesperrten Grundstück, und die Terrasse zum draußen Sitzen haben wir zum Frühstück und Abendessen sehr genossen. Außerdem hat sie eine perfekte Lage. In Laufentfernung ist der wunderschöne Arenella Beach, und mit dem Auto ist es nicht weit zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Syracuse, Noto, Marzamemi, Catania etc. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt wie hier. Abgerundet wurde das ganze durch den absolut lieben und ruhigen Hund Pit und ein paar süße, aber scheue Katzen.

We arrived later than planned, but that was no problem for Elisa. She was very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful tips for restaurants in the area and even reserved a table for us late at night in a nearby restaurant. Throughout our stay, she remained easily reachable and was quick to respond whenever we had any questions. The accommodation was well-kept, modern and clean. We appreciated having access to a secure, enclosed parking area—just a one-minute walk from the Airbnb. It’s situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood, only a short stroll from the beach, which was a real highlight for us. A nice bonus: the Airbnb also had a beach umbrella that we could take with us to the beach. In our opinion, a rental car is a must, as public transport options seemed quite limited and the shops were about 15 minutes away by car. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend Elisa as a host! We would come back anytime!

We stayed only for a day, the flat had everything we wanted. We could easily walk to Ortigia and the area is safe as we walked back late at night. Fabio recommended restaurants and they were superb. Recommend this place.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

Vacanza perfetta; Titti ci ha fatto sentire da subito a nostro agio. Eravamo cinque adulti e ognuno ha avuto il suo spazio; la cosa che ci ha più colpito è stata l'assoluta dedizione della proprietaria alla cura quotidiana dello splendido e ampio giardino. Per chi ama gli scogli c'è un accesso diretto al mare, per gli amanti della spiaggia in dieci minuti di passeggiata la si raggiunge. Esperienza decisamente positiva.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft und Concetta ist so eine freundliche Person die sehr hilfsbereit ist

Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato l’abitazione pulitissima sia internamente che esternamente e i proprietari,Antonella e Sergio, ci hanno fatto trovare delle graditissime bevande in frigo (non capita mai!) La casa è rifornita di tutto il necessario sia nei bagni che in cucina(addirittura le cialde del caffè!) e gli spazi sono molto comodi. Il giardino ha una doccia che permette di lavarsi in totale riservatezza e l’abbiamo apprezzata tantissimo, così come il depuratore di acqua che evita i pesanti acquisti al supermercato. Inoltre, la posizione della casa è strategica per visitare i posti più belli di questa parte di Sicilia orientale. Antonella e Sergio sono persone straordinarie: scrupolose, sempre disponibili e generose. Torneremo a trovarvi… sia l’appartamento che gli host meritano le 5 stelle!

Abbiamo soggiornato 13 giorni in questo bellissimo appartamento, nuovo e pulito ! Gli spazzi sono ottimi, camere spaziose e veranda molto ampia. Marialaura gentilissima, sempre disponibile e attenta ai dettagli. Abbiamo passato una splendida vacanza. Grazie ♥️

L’attico offre una terrazza panoramica con vista mare con alba al mattino. All’interno una meravigliosa finestra offre il tramonto su un’oasi che ospita fenicotteri rosa. La spiaggia a due passi offre un mare cristallino (Lido Morghella) dove consumare ottimi piatti caserecci. Località tattica per andare a visitare il sud della Sicilia (Noto, Siracusa, Scicli) e la vicina Porto Palo che offre scorci incantevoli da non perdere. Luogo meraviglioso dove trovare relax in un attico che offre ogni confort, come per esempio godersi il silenzio su un terrazzo circondato dalla musica della Natura. Consiglio. Ci torneremo.
