Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Santa Maria del Focallo

We had such a lovely stay at Francesso's place and it was very spacious with good character. We noticed all the nice furniture that was handcrafted and unique. Francessco and his family greeted us and showed us around and he was very friendly letting us know that if we needed anything we can just let them know at anytime. We found everything we needed in the apartment and the shower was amazing! We used the location as a good base as it was located well to explore Noto, Ragusa Ilba, Oritigia and Modica, but also the beautiful nature reserve nearby and the crystal waters of the beach Cittadella Dei Maccari. Francessco recommended seeing Porto Paolo and we visited there and had some great seafood which was less pricey than Marzamemi. We enjoyed our stay very much and thank you for a lovely time in your cozy home.

We had a wonderful few days at Sofia’s. The pool and surrounding area were perfect for relaxing, with plenty of seating spots to unwind. We really appreciated the outdoor space which offered a great area to eat and chill. The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the cute & friendly dogs. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Sofia was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Sofia’s is just a 10-minute walk to a nearby beach and a short 5-minute drive to other beaches and supermarkets. We would definitely recommend!

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

We felt super comfortable in Charlie's vacation home from the beginning. Everything was as described in the ad and nothing was missing. We particularly enjoyed cozy breakfasts and dinners on the two terraces or the first coffee of the day on the roof terrace with sea view. My favorite place was the hammock - also with sea view - where you could relax wonderfully. The holiday home is also a perfect starting point for various excursions. For example, we found it super nice in/on "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell'Irminio", which is only about 10 minutes away by car. The personal contact with Charlie was very nice and informal. He is an attentive, but still totally unobtrusive host, who has plenty of tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. And we also got fresh eggs from the chickens. We would book the vacation home again at any time! Thank you, Charlie, for letting us be your guests :-)

We absolutely adored being in Uccio’s family home for a week 💛 his parents & him were so welcoming and attentive to our needs… our two year old quickly got to know the yard very well and enjoyed playing on the toys there and watching the cats, chickens & dog! He was so cared for by Uccio’s mumma too and she made us all feel so at home… even had a Sicilian cooking lesson! Fresh eggs and the freshest produce… what a beautiful stay. Grazie miele! We've been regularly visiting Sicily for many years, and this was by far the best Airbnb experience so far. Not only was the apartment spotless and equipped with everything and more a guest could ask for, but the hosts are just such lovely and respectful people. Receiving garden goods and fresh eggs for breakfast was an absolute unexpected delight. If you're looking for a genuine Airbnb experience in a perfect location by the sea, don't hesitate to visit this place!

We arrived later than planned, but that was no problem for Elisa. She was very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful tips for restaurants in the area and even reserved a table for us late at night in a nearby restaurant. Throughout our stay, she remained easily reachable and was quick to respond whenever we had any questions. The accommodation was well-kept, modern and clean. We appreciated having access to a secure, enclosed parking area—just a one-minute walk from the Airbnb. It’s situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood, only a short stroll from the beach, which was a real highlight for us. A nice bonus: the Airbnb also had a beach umbrella that we could take with us to the beach. In our opinion, a rental car is a must, as public transport options seemed quite limited and the shops were about 15 minutes away by car. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend Elisa as a host! We would come back anytime!

Facing the beach and private parking inside the property, easy communication with hosts who do not reside on site at all times. The accommodation is clean and welcoming, the kitchen is equipped but could be more complete especially for a longer stay. Recommended if you want to enjoy the beach and visit the surroundings, Noto and Syracuse are not far away as well as Modica. Have a great stay.

We stayed only for a day, the flat had everything we wanted. We could easily walk to Ortigia and the area is safe as we walked back late at night. Fabio recommended restaurants and they were superb. Recommend this place.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

A very pretty house right in front of the beautiful beach. Very comfortable and friendly host If I go to Syracuse again, I definitely want to stop by again!

Perfect vacation; Titti made us feel at ease right away. We were five adults and each had their own space; the thing that struck us most was the absolute dedication of the owner to the daily care of the beautiful and large garden. For those who love rocks, there is direct access to the sea, and for beach lovers, it is a ten-minute walk away. Definitely a positive experience.

I think it is the best apartment in Pozzallo.

Upon our arrival we found the house very clean both inside and outside and the owners, Antonella and Sergio, left us some very welcome drinks in the fridge (it never happens!) The house is stocked with everything you need in both the bathrooms and the kitchen (even coffee pods!) and the spaces are very comfortable. The garden has a shower that allows you to wash in total privacy and we really appreciated it, as well as the water purifier that avoids heavy purchases at the supermarket. In addition, the location of the house is strategic for visiting the most beautiful places in this part of eastern Sicily. Antonella and Sergio are extraordinary people: scrupulous, always available and generous. We'll be back to see you… both the apartment and the hosts deserve 5 stars!

We had a lovely stay, four adults and our 8-month old baby. Nice apartment close to Marzamemi, a cozy old fishing village with lots of nice restaurants! Communication with Laura was exceptional and she was so kind with us. Thank you so much for having us!
