Beach house holiday rentals in Sandy Point

This would have to be one of my favorite places , across from the beach with easy access sitting on the balcony watching the sun setting was amazing , beds a comfy and it was equipped with everything you could possibly imagine for your comfort for a home away from home , my dog Malle loved sitting in deck watching the world go by .. he was secure and safe in the front yard . Jennifer was an amazing host , very responsive , overall a wonderful location , close to the bustling Mornington shopping strip and a cafe just down the road . Highly recommend Jennifer’s lovely beachside home .

This is our second time staying at Denise and Henriks airbnb. The home is so welcoming and comfortable and has everything you need for the best stay. The kids had so much fun playing in the backyard and with all the toys and games provided inside. The home was so clean and easy to make yourself at home. The artwork is beautiful too. A short walk to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood. Denise and Henrik were very easy to communicate with and ensured we had everything for our stay. We'll be back again next year!

We stayed here for just over a week and did not want to leave! It’s the perfect accom for a young family. You can tell the home has been renovated with a lot of thought put into it. We loved the style and the setup of the backyard, was lovely to relax outside. The barbecue was handy and we did a lot of cooking - the kitchen also has everything you need and is well equipped. We spent a lot of time out the back or sitting out on the front deck. It is walking distance to the beach, 2 min drive to the patrolled beach. It’s a great base for visiting the island. We were truly sad to leave, we had such a fabulous time. Angus was easy to reach and responded quickly to any messages. Highly recommend this home, we would love to return. Thank you

We loved staying here! The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Right across from the beach for walks or just watching the sunset. Close to the town for shops/restaurants. Easy drive to some excellent walks, sightseeing, etc. Communication with Scott was great. Would definitely stay again if we are back on Phillip Island.

The house with the very special decoration is unique and very comfortable to stay for a couple of days, especially due to the very comfortable bed in the main bedroom . To relax in the beautiful garden with an amazing bird life the house is perfect. To make the chill out complete, the two hammocks you can put up on the deck were fantastic! And you can go for a relaxed swim on the very close swimming beach. For people who love surfing the most amazing surf beach in the first surf nature reserve is just a three minute drive away. The waves were just spectacular when we were there. If you want to eat out, it’s just a 20 minute walk on two minute drive to the restaurant in the entrance of the urbanization, It’s really recommendable. We had just had 3 perfect days!

We've just returned from the most magnificent 3-night stay at NETHERBY WATERS BEACH HOUSE! It was the perfect house for a super comfortable multi-generational family holiday. The living area is spacious and homely with a fabulous view of the ocean from the sunny deck where birds come to feed! The bedrooms are comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were so well stocked with all of the essentials! In particular it was fantastic to be able to cook in the excellent kitchen and have everything required to hand without having to stock up on essentials like oil, herbs and spices. The hosts were fast and responsive and very accommodating of our requests around check in dates and check out times. We look forward to booking the home for another stay in the future.

Great stay for families including large bath, trampoline and plenty of toys and books for the kids. Highly recommend and not far from all the main tourist attractions.

Our fourth stay at Deb and Mary’s was just as relaxing and comfortable as it always is. We highly recommend this gorgeous house, both for its location and for how modern and well-equipped it is. The two living areas make it a fantastic choice for an extended family group. Thanks Deb for being the best communicator and for making us feel at home. We’re already missing it and looking forward to next year’s visit.

beautiful house for perfect family getaway. kids loved pool/theatre room. adults loved sauna. fireplace nice and homely with lots of wood supplied. short drive to shops/restaurants. would definitely return.

Jennifer's home was a dream for our group with the kids and adults loving the heated pool and sitting around chatting in the living areas. We loved every moment of our long weekend away. The kitchen was well equipped and the supply of clean linen, towels and pool towels was immaculate.

Fantastic house! We will definitely be back to stay again. So much to do provided by the host. The kids loved all the games and activities provided 😀 such a warm property we all felt very at home. Would 100% recommend this house. Resort facilities were a bonus indoor heated pool, gym & tennis courts all an easy walk from the house. Host was amazing to deal with and very friendly! Can’t wait to return 😀

Great clean place! Very spacious inside and outside. Unfortunately the weather was bad so was unable to utilise the pool. Heating and cooling in all rooms! Family and kid friendly. Would book again without hesitation.

Very quiet place and closer to the shops and will come back again

An absolutely lovely house, couldn't fault it. We had 3 couples staying and it was more than large enough to accommodate us all. Also great to have a bathroom each. It is in a great location, being an easy walk to both the shops and the pier. Lovely and quiet. Excellent communication from the hosts.

The accommodation was a perfect size. Main bedroom is great, large with its own bathroom and enclosed outside area. Shared bedrooms maybe a bit small but they're just for sleeping anyway. Plenty of living space, an extra area for kids. Lots of toys and games and a billiard table. The swim spa wasn't heating for us but Chris the host did warn us due to unforeseen circumstances and offered a refund if we wished to cancel. Very close to a beautiful enclosed beach, not very busy and good for swimming. Far enough away from 5he bustle of Cowes centre but close enough to walk or drive in for supplies. Chris was very prompt in replying. Overall, a very good experience and I recommend this accommodation for groups or families. Thank you Chris for offering your place.

We couldn’t fault this place. Everything about it was perfect! My family had such a wonderful and relaxing time. Plenty to do here. They’ve thought of everything! Accommodated everyone comfortably and catered to everyone’s needs. Beds were clean and comfortable. Beautiful kitchen, outdoor dining, outdoor gaming room, swimming pool, bbq area, walking track just out the back, minute’s from the beach and I could go on…. Lol. It has everything you would need for a great time away. Kim and the team were a great help whenever we needed something, they were very responsive. Responded straight away. Definitely would visit here again! ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Paddock. The property is beautifully secluded, offering a true private escape. Waking up to panoramic views—ocean on one side, farmland on the other—was magical. The views were especially wonderful during sunrise and sunset. The ever-changing weather made the outlook even more captivating. Morning walks to the local café and beach became our favorite ritual, and honestly, we didn’t feel the need to explore beyond the property—just being there was enough. Whether it was sunshine or rain, the place had a calming, immersive charm. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. We didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back.

A beautiful house which really makes the most of the ocean views. We really enjoyed the design of this house with great natural light and versatile spaces. Despite having a very cold snap with the weather, the house was quick to warm and remained warm when the heating was off. Great location with easy car access to Philip Island and surrounds, but otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is 10/10 Comfortable beds, easy to use appliances, excellent entertaining area outside. We had the best long weekend here. 5 minute walk to the beach on a sleepy street! We will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable stay. Central to our needs for walking. Wilsons prom not far away. Make sure you take supplies as there is no reliable general store close at hand.

Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. perfect to chill and unwind. Amazing secure area for the 2 small dogs and heaps for them to explore. inside was fantastic and had everything we needed. Couches and beds are comfy. Bathroom clean. Highly recommend for couples or just a couple. Thanks Howard. So good!

Our stay was nothing but enjoyable. From the minute we walked in it felt like we were on holidays. It was well set out with a great floor plan for the family we were accommodating. The beaches were beautiful & the towns we visited so friendly & welcoming & The weather was so kind to us the whole time we were there. We hope to return next year. Annette

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was huge, spacious, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The sofas and beds were so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave! The kitchen was a standout, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including crockery and spices, which made cooking super convenient. We also really enjoyed the additional movie/family room on the bottom floor — such a cozy bonus space for winding down in the evenings. The sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking — the skies were truly magical. Sandy Point Beach was just a short distance away and absolutely stunning, especially with the amazing weather during our stay. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

We travelled to Matt's place for a weekday escape with our two fur babies. We enjoyed our stay, the location is perfect walking distance to all amenities and nearby shops. The house is designed and styled nicely as well. We would definitely consider staying again if returning to the area.
