House holiday rentals in San Marcos River

Great location for a girls weekend. We enjoyed walking to local restaurants on Congress Street. The pool was lovely and the perfect little oasis during a hot day. Only downside was the construction right next door that started at 7AM everyday, but we understood that this is out of the host’s control. Would stay again, perfect walkable location in a very nice neighborhood.

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

Allison and Cody were excellent hosts. Very communicative and detail oriented. The home was beautiful and so calming. The pool was wonderful on the warm days we were there. Would gladly stay there again!

My siblings and I truly enjoyed staying at Lenny’s and Teresa’s house! There was plenty of room for everyone and the pool was so much fun! We definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to escape the hot Texas weather! It is close to stores and restaurants! The beds are super comfortable and the blackout curtains in the room let you sleep through anything!! We look forward to staying at their place again in the near future!!!

This Airbnb was exactly as described. What made it stand out was all of the extra touches - the pool, the backyard was amazing and all of the games for our family. The home was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive for any questions that we had. We tried several of their restaurant recommendations and they were all excellent. They provided lots of extras that were greatly appreciated. You could stay here and not have to go to the store to buy basics like coffee, garbage bags and toilet paper like most airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. The house is close to everything. You could be to most of the attractions within 15 minutes. The only downfall for me is that the beds were too firm for my liking. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

Again we had a pleased stay. This was the second time we stayed an Ashley’s and Burnetts House. It is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing and recharging vacation. Everything you need is there, house is clean, lot of space but the highlight is the patio and pool area. The only fly in the ointment is, that there is no shade at the pool area. Burnett and Ashley are always reachable. They made the whole stay as easy as possible. Thanks again, will be back some day

Cute house and very convenient to the Downtown Square and Texas State University. (5min drive) The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

I stayed here for a week while attending a professional training at Texas State, and had no issues. Terrell and her family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The area is quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this listing to anyone considering staying here!

Great place to stay! We visited for my mother-in-law's birthday weekend. It was three adults and a mid-size dog. We all had the best time. I had been looking for a pool and fenced yard. We got both! Although it wasn't a normal size pool which is shown in the pictures listed, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It fit all three of us comfortably so we could relax and chat while enjoying the scenery and the quiet space. The views and the area is just what was listed and expected. We all couldn't get over how peaceful and quiet it had been. Inside the home was absolutely comfortable and cozy. We gave my mother-in-law the larger room, but my husband and I still enjoyed the twin beds and personal bathroom. We are so thankful we were able to book as I've noticed this place is booked for quite some time this summer. Thank you Susan for being so accommodating with all of my questions and allowing us to stay!

We enjoyed our stay, it’s a very nice, quiet area. We had such a relaxing weekend by the river. The hosts were always attentive, providing clear directions and checking in to see if we needed anything.

We loved staying at camp Guadalupe for my sister’s bachelorette trip! It was exactly as described and we had the best time! We loved all of the included amenities that Paige had for guests to use like pickleball paddles and balls, tubes, kayaks, and so much more! Would definitely recommend to someone who was looking for a river trip but doesn’t want to stay right inside new braunfels!

Had a great stay here to float the river! My group and I had a wonderful time plenty of room for a group of 8. The host responded fast when we had questions during our stay. The back had a good photo opportunity, the drive way easily fits 5 cars. Overall it was a very nice stay and would stay again.

This place was perfect! Lots of space for family, awesome backyard with pool, everyone was happy! We will definitely be staying here again. Big bonus right within 1-5mins driving of the river points. Super great stay, wish it could be for longer.

Omg, this property was amazing! The place was absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, it smelled and looked just like a brand new home. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered. I really appreciated the generous touches like the complimentary bottle of wine, snacks, and the lovely handwritten thank you card. It all made the experience so welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway! By the way its the perfect place to go fishing nearby at Moby dicks and see the Austin city as well.

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room for our family, had all the amenities we needed and a big yard with fire pit. We also had fun playing on the basketball hoop and axe game - lots of activities for the kids. Erica was an excellent communicator and even offered to let us check in early.
