Beachfront holiday rentals in San Juan County

We loved the stunning views this home had to offer, and the pet amenities were such a nice bonus! Even though it rained most of the time, listening to the rain hit the large glass windows was incredibly soothing. The hot tub was a great touch and made our stay even more relaxing. The host was also super responsive and helped me figure out how to turn on the heat late at night, which I really appreciated.

We had a great time. There was everything we needed & more for our stay. I really liked the decor & beachy feel. My dogs loved all the toys. My lab loved the water & my Brittany loved trying to”hunt” the rabbits. Great yard for chasing tennis balls. Lots of traffic & noise from cars only downside but beautiful setting & house.

It was fun watching the tide come in and out. The place wasn't squeaky clean, but I thought it still merited 5 stars for cleanliness. It would have been nice to have stayed longer and to have made use of the boats and firepit onsite, but we did enjoy the nicely decorated interior and the lovely deck.

We absolutely adored staying here! It really made our trip extra-special to have this quiet private place to call our home-away-from-home. We loved being able to have a campfire on the beach every night, the beds were very comfortable, and the electric fireplace made us cozy. We also appreciated the whale watching recommendation given to us when we booked the house! It would be a dream to stay here again someday!

we LOVED our stay!!! this was the perfect cottage for my husband and I!! it was so fun to watch the tide go in and out, launch our kayaks, walk on the beach at low tide and enjoy all the wildlife!! the hot tub was so fun and relaxing! the cottage was absolutely beautiful and COMPLETELY stocked, everything that we could have ever thought of was there! it was so thoughtful and honestly the best airbnb we’ve ever been to! i think it mentions that there isn’t air conditioning but there is!! we were nice and cool!

Rami’s place is truly unique. Decatur island is a place out of time, no cars to speak of, peaceful and magical. Rami’s house is on an exceptional piece of land in this amazing place. We walked on the beautiful beach, looked out over the water and were even treated to one evening of spectacular Mount Baker revealed in the alpine glow. The house is very comfortable, comfy beds, even has very good internet so we could watch movies. The 9 hole golf course and library, a volunteer effort, that is a short walk from the house is a must visit.

This was the perfect place to relax and recharge, we were sad that our 2 dogs could not accompany us do to them not feeling well. We will definitely reccomend to all or friends. Thanks Matt !

An off season stay means you get the unparalleled Puget Sound views and also quiet and peace. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Go grocery shopping on the way to the ferry in Anacortes and the cabin has all the equipment you need to cook. Drive from the ferry dock was short, beautiful, and well-signed.

Yuri is a fantastic host. He was very easy to communicate with and provided so many wonderful recommendations from restaurants to things to do. We have been visiting Orcas Island for many years now, and Yuri introduced us to new places and hikes. The condo was just as pictured and described. So many nice extras. The view from the balcony was beautiful. It was very peaceful. It was extremely clean and comfortable, like home. The bed was comfortable and all the lines were extremely soft. We will be back!

this was a beautiful location with amazing amenities and we felt right at home. When we arrived, we were given a tour of the property and the gardens which were gorgeous. The entire property is truly like something out of a movie. A short walk and you're down at the water where you can see seals and watch the sunset. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and sitting in the hot tub and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. There was a resident cat named freckles who was super sweet and friendly. The unit itself was small but perfect. The TV didn't work but that was actually ideal because we were able to unplug and just talk. I would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay in the studio! Yuri was super communicative before and during our stay. It would have taken us two weeks (more time than we had) to try all of his recommendations. The ones we did try did not disappoint. The units are located in a fantastic part of the island. While 15 min from most restaurants and shopping, their proximity to Moran Park is unbeatable. Our unit was extremely comfortable (bedding, bath) and the thoughtful amenities were welcome after a long day. The WIFI was fantastic and the main reason we were willing to pay a little more than we usually do - as we needed to video conference for work. The only time it was slow was when trying to change our ferry tickets at 7 am - so head Yuri's suggestion and be ready to to at 6:58 am. We had a slight hiccup with the washer/dryer situation (it was out of order), but Yuri's property manager April was super and allowed us to use the commercial W/D located just outside our door. Thanks for everything!

John was a great host, place was amazing and quiet. John even helped us get a ferry booked on a holiday weekend so we could make this happen. Thanks again and we will be back!

We were very grateful for Yuri’s detailed notes regarding finding the condo, getting in, being extra careful about all the tree sap, etc. We especially loved his descriptions of the local restaurants, sights and activities!!! We followed his recommendations and had excellent meals and adventures. The place is filled with his wife’s incredible art. We both feel renewed from our week on Orcas Island!

Location is perfect and they are very attentive, but I think they could give a little bit of love to the place and their sheets, beds and ropes for the amount of money they are asking for.

Had a great time staying here. Beautiful, clean, and a very comfortable space. Would definitely stay here again.

Ruth's home is an absolute dream to which I'd love to return! It is exactly what I wanted for my 50th birthday: quiet, peaceful, surrounded with nature, with a beautiful view of the water. Her home felt like we were at a friend's house. So cozy, inviting, and warm. Everything was clean and beautiful. The decor and furnishings were perfect. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed and bedding was lovely. A friend slept in one of the upstairs twin beds and reported it was a bit soft for her. It was wonderful having a full washer and dryer and everything in the kitchen worked as expected. We spent most of our time in the downstairs living room talking, but we also explored the island which is simply authentic beauty at every turn. We visited the farmer's market, Olga (art gallery), Doe Bay, meandered Eastsound, and saw a pod of orcas while whale watching. It was a spectacular way to ring in the second half of my life. Ruth is very kind and communicative. Thank you Ruth!

Beautiful view of the north side of the island. Well stocked kitchen, fun private beach, lots of fun extra touches around the house. A lot bigger than the listing, was a great place for a home base and we can't wait to stay again. Responsive host.

Cozy cottage by the water. Enjoyed eating dinner on the back deck watching the seals and Otters swim and play.

Sarah’s house was a dream to stay in- everything about this property is enchanting. There’s no shortage of otters, birds and harbor seals to watch swimming in the water. Host was helpful and quick to responded to our questions , we would absolutely stay at this property again and again!!

We loved our weekend at this home on Orcas. The location was great to wake up to and the home was well stocked and clean when we arrived and had tons of amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Carrie’s cabin oasis. The views were stunning, the beds super comfortable, and the wildlife viewing just outside the window was magical! Saw deer, otters, and lots of bald eagles! Would absolutely go back!

Perfect getaway spot close to nearby town if you need anything.
