Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Joaquin River

The house in Oakhurst is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are large and the views from both the living room and the master bedroom are to die for. Even if you’re not into hiking, just enjoying those views is a treat in itself. We caught a beautiful sunset on our first evening as we had spent most of the day hiking for the remaining days. The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of a complimentary bottle of wine. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. One small note for those visiting from outside the US: the road leading to the house is quite dark at night due to minimal street lighting. That said, it felt completely safe and wasn’t a concern for us. Also, the house is about 1.5 hours from Yosemite Valley so it’s helpful to plan your day trips accordingly.

The place was great, literally across the street from the beach, super clean and comfortable, and the best part was the kayak, which we took out in the morning and we were able to see dolphins, sea lions, and otters fantastic!!

We loved staying at Courtneys place. It was very clean and well maintained. The ambience was simply great too.

Gorgeous, spacious home with a large backyard to enjoy the pool and barbecue area. Everything was very clean, has all the essentials one might need. Location was very convenient and in a safe, walkable area. My trip was short but I would absolutely stay again and recommend this house to anyone.

Very nice home! Very clean. Stocked with all of the essentials. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Several restaurants and stores nearby. Very responsive host. I’d recommend to other small families looking for a clean and quiet place to get away.

Spacious, clean, and packed with amenities; this place is the perfect retreat just off the beaten path. 5 minutes to the center of town, but perfectly private when we were there (except for the deer 😁). Beautiful deck, a creek you can hear from the house, but still paved all the way to the door. The coffee bar was a cute touch, the kitchen and great room were huge, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our larger family. Highly recommend this wonderful spot, whether as a home base for Yosemite trips or just a getaway into the mountains.

Where to begin?! We had a wonderful experience. The house is tucked away on a quiet street. Absolutely serene from inside to outside. Tania was particularly accommodating and responsive. We look forward to staying here again!

The location was what we needed but I was interested to see the house and the work after reading Al's story. Made our stay all the better. this place is an absolute gem, fantastic location next to resterants and shops and a short walk to a great hiking location. The apartment was great clean spacious and all the luxuries of home!

We visited Yosemite but couldn’t find accommodation inside the park — if you’re in the same situation, this place is a great option after about an hour’s drive out! There’s a restaurant downstairs that looked amazing — we were too tired to try it, but definitely recommend others to check it out. The place looked just like the photos, the A/C worked great, and it was perfect for cooking. The area was a bit noisy, but we fell asleep right away so it didn’t really bother us — plus, they provide earplugs! Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yosemite!

Had a wonderful stay! Cute and cozy apartment. Exactly what we needed for a trip centered around hiking and fishing in Yosemite. Easy to walk around the corner to restaurants and shops. Drive into Yosemite was a little over an hour from here. Would stay again!

If I could rate the host and this Airbnb higher I would! We spent our one year anniversary in Yosemite and unfortunately had a terrible stay at another Airbnb and I booked here. How much I deeply regret not seeing this Airbnb in the first place. The home is gorgeous and the host was by far the best I’ve had. They had left wine, breakfast and some snacks for us which I wasn’t expecting. The whole checking process to checkout was so easy! The biggest pro to this Airbnb is the WiFi, being in Yosemite WiFi is not very reliable however staying here, we had 0 issues plus the TV worked off the WiFi too. We spent a lovely night watching Netflix and in a comfortable bed! Highly recommend checking this place out for your next Yosemite vacation :)

Tom's Alpine Escape in Yosemite West was amazing! It was exactly as described/pictured and so much more! The instructions for finding it were great, it was a perfect location for getting to all of the Yosemite sites, and Tom has literally thought of everything you need. Check in and out were easy and Tom gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. Plus there were great personal touches like the bottle of wine and the cookie dough in the fridge which he left for us to enjoy! Cooking in the kitchen was a dream, the place was spotless, and everything was very comfortable and well thought out. The wifi was fast and great to have as was the AC with the heat. We highly recommend Tom's place and look forward to staying again, hopefully soon.

Great place. Very safe--locked gate with a combination. Veronika was very proactive and helpful. She notes in the description that there's a train nearby. We only heard it once, during the day, barely noticed it, and it was just the sound of the wheels, not a horn.

This place is beautiful, peaceful, and so much fun. It was a great place to stay with our family. We loved the pool and the pickleball court. It was also very convenient to drive to Yosemite. Thank you Bruce for being a great host!

We absolutely LOVED this place & will definitely book again. Directions were right on point. The views were amazing, mother nature surrounded us and it was so relaxing. Comfy beds & the kitchen views made cooking and spending time in the kitchen all that much more fun. We brought our cornhole set up but Henry's 49er cornhole boards were in the back! Had coffee out in the back every morning to catch the beautiful sunrise over the lake and mountains. Can't say enough great things about this place. This place is truly something special. The peaceful setting, the beautiful views, and the cozy, welcoming home made our time here unforgettable. We held a small event and everything felt just right. The outdoor spaces are perfect for gathering and relaxing. Eric was a wonderful host — so kind, responsive, and thoughtful. You can tell this place is cared for with love. We made such meaningful memories and would love to return one day.

The house is located on a beautiful mountain top with complete facilities, including a children's playground, game room, etc. The kitchen utensils and seasonings are complete, making it very suitable for family gatherings and vacations. It is a half-hour drive from Yosemite.

Gina’s home was beautiful and perfect for a big family and still have your privacy. The house has plenty of space and is very secluded no and private. They do a great job at tailoring to your fur puppies and have accommodations for them. The patio is so large and has everything you need. I highly recommend to stay here for the perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and spacious home! The kitchen is very well stocked, beds were super comfortable, common areas were homey and plentiful, everything was clean, and there was an EV charger! The location is great to access Yosemite. Finally, Victor was a great, communicative host. Highly recommend a stay here (especially for large groups)!
