GORGEOUS location. The house was adorable, with very tasteful interior decor. The outside patio area and trails were lovely, and the pool looks bigger in person than it does in photos. We could have stayed in that pool all day! Although I'm not a seasoned bird watcher, the variety of birds that we saw from the pool was incredible. We chose Louie & Netty's place because of the jungle surroundings and chance to experience wildlife there, and we were not disappointed: we heard howler monkeys, saw toucans, macaws, a Montezuma Oropendola, geckos, Jesus Christ lizards, crazy big caterpillars, and lots of insane insects! (NOTE: This location is in a jungle setting so be prepared for some outside insects coming into the inside.) Our hosts were also incredibly responsive. We had a small issue with the shower drain, and it was fixed within a couple of hours. We would definitely come back again! (Also: recommend you arrive during the day so you can find the place easily, and have 4x drive!)

This place was perfect for us, two adults and two kids (12 and 9 yrs old). We had originally planned on staying at another place higher on the hill until we realized the road to get there was insanely steep and challenging to navigate, especially during the rainy season. Eric’s place was easy to get to, with a friendly security guard monitoring traffic into the neighborhood. The view was AMAZING, the beds were comfy and the pool was clean and refreshing. Great location for exploring other beaches and the towns of Dominical and Uvita and an easy 1.25 hr drive south to Sierpe for a mangrove boat tour (which was awesome) or to access Corcovado NP. Eric and Fabiola were wonderful and very helpful hosts. First-timer advice: if you’re renting a car, go with a smaller 4x4, we got a Hyundai Kona. Barely fits our luggage, but easy to navigate on narrow Costa Rican roads and small parking spaces.

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

A gem of a home nestled in the jungle, 10/10 views and close to great beaches (we loved Playa Ventanas and Playa Hermosa). Felt far away from tourist bustle. Comfortable chairs and beds, great kitchen. Do just be sure to bring your own shampoo and detergent. Host was responsive and helpful. We saw toucans, coati, agouti, and other birds here. Heard monkeys.

Wow, this place was absolutely magical. We were so grateful to have stayed in such a gorgeous home for 6 nights and have the chance to see 2 different types of toucans, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and coatis all on the property. The location and home were secure, clean, and impressive. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, showers werea dream. In the pictures, the Whale's Tail looked like it would be hard to see, but the actual view of Uvita and the Whale's Tail is pretty incredible and much closer than expected. We have been to Costa Rica a couple of times now and choose homes higher up in the jungle for the privacy and view, but I will say this house is UP THERE. There's no way a non-4x4 car would make it up. It was quite the ride, and did take us longer than google maps said to expect. Even with the drive, this place is where you want to be. Couldn't have been better. Diana, Roberto and team were also amazing to work with, friendly, and very responsive.

Absolutely loved our stay! Smooth check-in/communication with Erika; she also gave great local recommendations. The location was perfect: private, quiet, with wonderful jungle sounds and mountain views. The beautiful, well-maintained garden was managed by Rolbin, the friendly gardener. He brought fresh fruit and gave us tours of the property's trails (waterfall/river included). The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, from a citrus press, moka pot, to an ice cream maker – we genuinely missed nothing. Clean spring tap water was a huge bonus; it remained functional even during power outages (mechanical system). We often didn't notice brief outages as we still had water and cooked on the gas stove! Internet (~40-80 Mbps) was surprisingly fast, allowing to get work done. We miss falling asleep to jungle sounds! If you're looking for peace, comfort, and unique amenities in a beautiful setting, this is the place.

Quel plaisir de profiter de cette belle maison !. quand j'ai vu cette maison sur Airbnb je me suis dit qu'il fallait absolument que l'on y séjourne et nous n'avons pas été déçus. un bonheur !. La maison est pleine de charme, en forme de phare, pleine de couleur et d'espace. parfaite pour 4 adultes et 3 enfants. Cristina et Esteban ont aussi été très réactifs lorsque la connexion internet a été coupée ou pour nettoyer la piscine. une superbe expérience. Merci encore

Beautiful home on a little neighborhood street that doesn’t get much traffic, and has lush greenery all around. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well appointed kitchen, relaxing on the upper patio in the hammock in fresh flowing air. Our host Ana Grace was wonderful: she made every effort to communicate well and help our stay be a good one.

Truly a stunning home in a very quiet, upscale cul-de-sac community. Views were breathtaking, and the home well-equipped for lazy days without big agendas. Dominical is cute and inviting, with plenty to eat and a solid infrastructure for booking adventures of multiple varieties. Sensitive travelers might want to be advised that power and water outages are part of the realities of living in such a gorgeous, remote location. Mattresses are quite firm, with the loft bed probably best suited to a child or other floor-friendly individual. Kitchen was not particularly well-appointed, so bring oil/butter and perhaps even a favorite chef's knife if you plan to cook in. Local farmer's markets do make this an appealing option, although local restaurants were generally quite decent, even coming from NYC. Above all, this is a truly impressive holiday experience, mainly for the incredible views from all floors and the abundance of wildlife right in your own back-yard. Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough about this place! What a beautiful experience. If you want to be completely surrounded by nature in a modern home with an amazing view, this is your place. We were visited by toucans every morning outside the bedroom window and saw a number of different beautiful birds. I felt like I was in the tree tops with them. What a spectacular view! We also saw many white-nosed coati, a heard of peccary with babies, a deer and a group of capuchin monkeys passing by. The house was extremely clean and felt very comfortable. The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had. The drive up to the house is an experience! Make sure to arrive during daylight if possible. A 4x4 is 100% required! Half way up the hill is an adorable group of restaurants and a little market. We had a great dinner at Scala and breakfast at Sibu. Very convenient and highly recommend! Pool was very clean and a nice way to unwind at the end of the day! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Ich habe das wunderschöne Haus 2 Wochen lang gemietet. Ein absoluter Traum! Die Aussicht auf das Mystik Tal und den Pazifik von der riesengroßen Terrasse sind atemberaubend schön. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Von allen Räumen hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht durch die großen Fenster die alle sogar mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet sind. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Es ist blitzblank super sauber . In 25 Minuten erreicht man tolle Strände, viele Wasserfälle und traumhafte Wanderruten sind schnell erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit Jose und seinem Vater Erik war überaus freundlich und super schnell. Definitiv die schönste Unterkunft die ich bei meinem vielen Reisen nach Costa Rica bisher hatte. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Este alojamiento es simplemente hermoso! La casa es muy amplia perfecta para grupos grandes,estaba ordenada,limpia y muy bien equipada. La vista y acceso a la cascada es espectacular. Muy recomendado este hermoso lugar.

a fantastic stay! the view waking up to the ocean in the morning is second to none and just stunning views all around. we thoroughly enjoyed staying here! just enough space for what we needed after a long day exploring beaches and waterfalls in the area. Would highly recommend staying here!

Krásný dům na úžasném místě. S celou rodinou jsme se zde cítili opravdu skvěle, Dům je nový se vším co potřebuješ a paní majitelka vám je plně k dispozici a skvěle komunikuje. Moc rádi se zde zase zastavíme až pojedeme kolem. Mohu jen doporučit.

L’une de nos plus belles locations air Bnb du Costa Rica : le mot d’ordre est détente et environnement parfait. Le logement correspond parfaitement à l’annonce, mieux en vrai que sur l’annonce, ce qui est rare. De nombreux équipements bien utiles sont mis à disposition. On s’y sent comme chez nous avec un cadre idyllique ou l’on peut voir, singe hurleur, Toucans, perroquets, vautour, oiseaux multicolores et basiliques (lézards à crête) bronzant près de la piscine. Ainsi tout est réuni pour passer un séjour merveilleux et reposant

This place was perfect for our family of 4. It was spacious and the outdoor living space was beautiful. Two pools in the complex were perfect for our kids and the neighbours were all welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Firstly, thanks Lissette for everything! WOW!! Is what comes to mind, this home has a spectacular view of the ocean, that we could of sat, watched and listen to for hours. It was very clean and cozy. I absolutely loved it. Lissette was very kind and helpful, even before my check in. She answered all my questions about the area she provided great recommendations. (If i would of had a little patience...lol.)Lissette also have a very helpful binder with instructions, tips, and restaurants provided for her guest. Lastly, don't second guess it, if you come across this listing book it immediately, you will not be disappointed. Pura Vida!!! enjoy Costa Rica is was amazing!!!!

We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a home! It really felt like a “get away” vacation: surrounded by the natural beauty of Costa Rica, trees, wildlife, views of the ocean… Pura Vida! I was joined by my husband and three kids ages 6, 7, and 9. We were all able to disconnect and enjoy the start of an unforgettable vacation. We all loved going on the porch to search for monkeys, relax in the pool after a day of adventuring, and having access to a washer/dryer was such a great perk after all of the activities. Certainly looking forward to staying here again.

prachtig huis, het was er zeer rustig en een wonder mooi uitzicht op de oceaan. Het zwembad was heerlijk om na te genieten na een heerlijke activiteit + mijn kinderen hebben op ons kort verblijf leren zwemmen. De bedden waar ook heerlijk en het huis was zeer netjes. De bewaker was ook heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We hebben er een heerlijke tijd beleefd, een echte aanrader.

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing views. The outside deck and kitchen are great and make the home feel much larger. Rudy, the caretaker, is super responsive if you need anything. The road and driveway are intimidating the first time but get easier after a couple of trips up and down.

Marta's home is the perfect place to relax. Easy access to Dominical and Uvita, Hacienda Ebona, Nauyaca Waterfall and Parque Reptilandia. Dominical has great restaurants and bars. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The beds slept well and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor area is great and we truly enjoyed the pool, grill and outside dining area. From the decks you can see numerous hummingbirds, butterflies, toucans, parrots, hawks, capuchin monkeys and iguana. We enjoyed the chorus from the wonderful creatures found in southwest Costa Rica. From the deck you can also enjoy a bird's eye view of Playa Dominicalito. Watch the surfers, paragliders and visitors. The drive down to Playa Dominicalito takes maybe 5 min and it is every bit worth a walk along the beach at low tide. Plenty of space to relax on the beach as well with great trees for shade. Can't imagine a better way to experience Pura Vida!

The property is in an amazing location and secluded. Very large and plenty of space to spread out. Felo the property groundskeeper was very friendly and helpful. House seems very new and modern. However, some simple amenities were missing (i.e. shower curtain, kitchen utensils lacking, power outlets in kitchen). We had a great time and have no complaints. This property is for sale so it may not be available too long on AIRBNB? We would recommend it.
