Super nice, nice view ,safe and very quiet

My stay at this rustically furnished place was very pleasant. The decor may be a little older, but it's clean and well-maintained. I especially liked the view directly into the jungle, which I could enjoy from the window. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. In addition, there were grocery stores, a bus stop and various restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the property, which made my stay very convenient. In addition, the presence of hot water in the shower was a real plus. Overall a great place to get away from it all and enjoy nature.

Our stay at Leticia’s was wonderful. The apt is in a central place and is an easy two min walk to beach and tons of shops and restaurants. The space is definitely bigger than the pictures show, the kitchen is fully equipped, and it was very comfortable for me, my husband, and our 16 month old son. Leticia was super friendly and had suggestions and tips for us during our stay. She even provided a little kiddie pool for us to use :) We’d definitely recommend staying here and would stay again. Lovely apt. in the center of town, within a short walk to the beach and just a few steps to stores, restaurants and nightlife. The apt. was spotless and well equipped w/everything you need to cook meals. There's a washer and dryer and it was nice to be able to do our laundry before leaving. The beds and pillows were comfortable (I'm fussy about this) and the A/C worked perfectly. The dual shower heads in the modern bathroom were a luxury after a long day, which we usually ended by sitting out back by the pool and jetted tub. There's no heat in the pool/tub and both are covered by a roof, so the water stays cool, but it was hot and humid when we visited, so we didn't miss the hot water too much. Richard was friendly, welcoming and helpful. He gave us great tips on the nearby waterfalls and when to avoid traffic and crowds. He seems to care deeply about the comfort of his guests, and asked us what he could do to make improvements before we left. That's special. Great place and host! 👍🏻

The Blue Shack was the perfect place to stay and the photos do not do it justice! It was an easy 2 minute walk to the beach, it was clean, had all the amenities needed for kitchen, baths, etc! Steve the local groundskeeper is so kind, warm and knows everyone and everything. The unit has AC but only in LR but there are fans in all the bedrooms. The upstairs patio with hammocks was such a great place to relax! We got to see Toucans flying by! I would highly recommend this place

Just a fantastic place. Beautiful setting. Walking distance to stores and cafes and fruit markets. Host makes it feel like home away from home
