Guest house holiday rentals in San Isidro de El General

My partner and I had an amazing experience here. The accommodations are simple but plenty comfortable, and the property is incredible. The managers Tarky and Nicole showed us around the property (so much space, epic mountain views, so much food growing!), took us on a tour of the biological reserve next door (amazing organization, epic waterfalls and real jungle trails without tourists), and made us really good "comida tipica" for just a few bucks per meal. It was nice to have access to the kitchen, too. If you're looking for a quiet place to go deep with the land, experience the jungle/mountains and have a taste of the Costa Rican countryside, this is it. We also went home with a bag of coffee from the coffee plants outside our room and it's the best I've had in a long, long time!

Last minute we had to cancel our stay due to unexpected circumstances. Communication was great, though. We really regret we could not go!

Wonderful accommodation in the middle of the jungle. Very quiet and secluded. Requires a 4x4. Pool is shared with another house. Breathtaking views from the pool. Would come again.

It was our third stay with Noah and Maria. Once again, top notch service and very happy to be able to call them friends at this point. If you’re staying in the area, it’s def worth staying with them.

Loved the host & the space! Anthony was super responsive. Something to consider is that the road up to the space may be a little bit challenging for non suv cars as it gets somewhat muddy in the rainy season. Despite this, the space is super peaceful & recommended :)

Cozy cabin in the jungle! My husband and I were so grateful to find this place last minute. I loved being so close to the local wildlife. I saw toucans and blue morpho butterflies almost every day.

Our time with Charlie was perfect! He is a very nice man and very helpful. We wanted to spend 1 week on the beach and goods in good hands at the property. The sea is just a stone's throw away and the beach is just fantastically beautiful! Also the pool was always clean and was great for refreshments! Our outdoor kitchen overlooking the greenery was awesome, often we saw the monkeys dancing in the trees in the morning. Those who love nature, the sea and nice people should definitely go to the Junglehouse! Charlie, thank you and best regards to everyone and to Lukas, thank you for the great seafood soup yesterday! The place is beautiful, a lot of Paz what we were looking for, the comfort of the house and the spectacular pool, a place made for descasar and have a good time, totally recommended. The good service. We'll definitely be back there.

This place is very special; magical. The host cares a whole lot too, which really makes a difference. The setting by the river is unreal, the bed is comfortable, place is clean. The area is cute and has little attractions and beautiful cloudbridge rain forest.

Michael was a wonderful host, he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to any requests I may have had. The panoramic view from the unit was spectacular, the place felt very private and secure. I enjoyed my time and would visit again ⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this place for some days in Uvita. The location close to the jungle is amazing. We woke up with the sounds of howler monkeys in the morning. Room and common places were really clean, AC worked perfectly, common kitchen was fully equipped to prepare some delicious meals which we enjoyed in the cozy garden area. We felt really welcomed and the hosts who are taking care of the place gave a lot of recommendations and were really supportive all the time.
