Family-friendly holiday rentals in San Dimas

We booked this airbnb last minute after having to leave our original reservation. Host was super friendly and did everything possible to help us out by being able to drop off our luggage before check in. The place was super cozy and very relaxing. Would totally rebook for future travels.

Yan’s place was exactly what we needed for a big family resting place. The expectations of the place were well communicated and friendly reminders were plastered all around the house to refer to on our last night and morning. Everyone had a great time, there was a point of great discomfort for me but after speaking with Yan, she assured me of a speedy solution.

My family of 4 absolutely loved staying here for the four nights. It was super clean, extremely well stocked, and comfortable. Not to mention the pool and jacuzzi, the view and the peace and quiet! We would without hesitation book here again! Camille was so nice and communicative we felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

Great place to stay in Pasadena! The area is so lovely. We went on walks and runs in the neighborhood saw the most beautiful estates. It was nice to be able to use the hot tub and the pool. All of Chris’ directions were easy to follow. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this home! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The home was exactly as described. Traveling with young children, it was great to have so much space within the home for them to play safely and the heated pool and spa were second to none! Our kids lived in the pool outside of the one day we went to Disneyland. We could also see the nightly Disneyland fireworks show from the front yard! The home was clean and had nice touches like books and toys for the kids. The WiFi was great, and having Roku with the TV made it easy to play any movies or shows when we wanted. We loved the fully equipped and open concept kitchen. There is no washer/dryer access but that wasn’t a problem, as there are plenty of affordable wash & fold laundromats nearby that also offer pickup/drop off. Given that the location is so central, delivery services like Target, DoorDash, etc. had plenty of options wih short delivery windows. We will definitely look to stay here again next time!

This home was perfect for a laid back trip; the pool and hot tub were super relaxing, the backyard super private, and the inside was very comfortable and cozy. Jorgen was a very responsive and polite host! No trouble with parking, finding the place, or check-in. Jorgen made the entire process seamless so we could focus on our vacation. I would absolutely stay here again and appreciate Jorgen for opening his beautiful home to us!

Tamryn's place exceeded my expectations in every way. The pictures were accurate, and yet somehow did not do justice to just how special the apartment or its surroundings are! There were many thoughtful touches throughout: there was ground coffee, half and half, Greek yogurt and granola available in the fridge for breakfast, hand lotion and sunscreen available in the bathroom, and it seemed that the linens had been washed in scentless detergent, which I really appreciate because I'm super sensitive to soaps and scents. The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious, with a full-size bathroom and cute kitchenette and dining table overlooking their gardens. It was perfect for a weekend stay and I found myself wishing I could stay even longer. Many thanks to Tamryn and her family for the comfortable and well-appointed guest suite!

The Studio is a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend to fellow solo travellers. South Pasadena is a safe and walkable town with fantastic Pasadena nearby. I find the Metro line being nearby incredible to help get to places like Dodger Stadium easily. The colourful garden and the peaceful chirping of the chickens makes this place feel very homely. I can’t wait to be back in LA, and will definitely stay at the Studio again.

The spot was a perfect jumping off point for our long weekend of family festivities in the area.

This Airbnb was super cute and cozy - the off street parking was convenient, the kitchen and living area very functional for a short stay, the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent! Really convenient having high end laundry machines, and lots of nice amenities like a steamer, an iron, and a blow dryer all available. I also love that we didn’t have to clean the whole place ourselves at check out, unlike some other airbnb with long check out lists. Would gladly stay here again!

The location was great. I would deff stay here again. I really enjoyed my time in SoCal & this was a great home base. A lot of space for bigger groups.

We had a lovely time staying here. We enjoyed peaceful mornings eating breakfast on the patio listening to the birds chirping and flitting around, sometimes joined by a very friendly kitty cat, beautiful neighborhoods to walk around nearby, incredible sunsets, and delicious oranges from the orange tree that we only discovered on the last day.

such a great house, the kids really enjoyed the pool and all the games she had! quiet little neighborhood. Susy was always great with communication from the first day even before we booked!

Place was an amazing stay. The area was nice and quiet. Entrance to the place was very easy and the place has a pool and outdoor patio with a fire pit which was amazing! Beds and sheets were very comfortable and soft with an AC available. The room has a complimentary coffee station which was amazing!!! The place was clean and aesthetic! Highly suggest this place!

First off I want to say the pictures don’t do the back yard any justice. It’s so beautiful and the perfect get away trip without having to break the bank. Definitely worth every penny We loved it and we will be returning again! P.s. Just make sure you bring some bug spray there is a bunch of mosquitos in the back yard, we didn’t have any so don’t be us lol. 🙌

We originally planned to stay for a month but my house was not ready to move in, so extended for 2 more weeks. Wilson & Leona are great hosts, very friendly and always responsive. Their place is very quiet, clean and safe in a gated community. Great location, walking distance to an Asian plaza nearby, Pizza Hut, KFC and CVS also available in that plaza. On weekends, you can enjoy shopping at a fair market just outside the Nogales high school, which is just located across the street, not mention Mexican BBQ also available there on weekend nights! Last, lots of Chinese food available nearby and 99 Ranch supermarket just 5 mins drive if you love Chinese cuisine!

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.

Janet welcomed us into her home and was amazing. The cottage was nothing short of perfection, her responsiveness and willingness to accommodate for our group was impeccable. I cannot wait for a second opportunity to share space with her.

We absolutely loved this house! it was very well equipped, super clean, very comfortable. Eric responded immediately to the 1 little problem we had and came and fixed it right away. the littles (and the grown ups) really enjoyed the pool and toys, both inside and out, and just over all this was a wonderful very comfortable place for my family of 9. The coffee bar in the kitchen was top notch, and an unexpected surprise. There were strollers in the garage for us to use as well. i can't say enough good things about our stay, all of the little "extra" things really made a difference! We will be booking this house (if available) for all of our future trips. Thank you so much Eric for sharing your awesome house with us!

Beautiful, historic, comfortable home with spacious rooms and many interesting artifacts and convenient location. We visited on some hot days in June and really enjoyed being outdoors, on the big front porch and in the shade by the pool. The host was very responsive and helpful and seemed to have thought of everything we might want or need.
