Waterfront holiday rentals in Samara Beach

We had an awesome experience, the perfect home away from home! :) Everything was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. I’ll definitely be recommending your place to Friends & Family, and I’d love to stay again next time I’m in Samara! Grazie Mille per tutto!

Mari was a wonderful host! She met me at the place when I first got there and gave me a quick walk through. There was a minor issue in the bathroom but she diligently got someone in there to fix it. When I had questions she was quick to respond. she checked in with me part way through my time there. The place is about as close to the beach as one could get and at a very reasonable price point. As it would turn out, Mari also has other properties nearby so if you can't get into this property you might message her and see if her other places are open. Highly recommend!

Simple spacious place. I was the only guest in the building for most of the time. A group of girls came and stayed directly above me. They were very loud and obnoxious and Manuel helped me when they became too disturbing. All in all I would stay here again and I enjoyed the location. Manuel was very accommodating and easy to work with.

The apartment is nicely decorated and cozy. One feels at home easily and Mayela did everything to help us and make us feel comfortable! Very friendly hostess. :) However, it's important to know that the given location is not correct. It's outside of the town across the river to the west. It's still only a 10 minute walk to the beach (not the part with the bars but further west) and about 10 minutes into town. The WiFi is not very quick and not always reliable. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Karla and Mayela! :)

Our stay at this beautiful apartment exceeded our expectations! It was so peaceful and private and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. Most of our time was spent sitting in the shade at the edge of the beach, resting and enjoying the sea breezes. Our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience in Nosara and cannot wait to come back. Staying at the Surf Shack made my trip. It was walkable to so many great food places, the beach and shops. Tatiana’s recommendations were also so helpful and she really went above and beyond to help me set up a few things for my stay. I am a solo female traveler and I felt so safe the entire time here. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful. I am very grateful.

Pura vida at its max. Pure relaxation, comfort, safety. Zeidy’s food absolute perfection, the kids kept saying it wasn’t even real, calling it dream food. Pool is bigger than what the pictures show, beach wonderful, restaurant down the road a neat little touch for a dinner. We got horses and massages right at the house. The team is fantastic and Jose was wonderful to line it all up. Our private driver that Jose arranged was just wonderful and accommodating to any needs. We would give 10 stars if we could, just like other reviews. Stay here. Or don’t, which will clear up more space in the calendar for us to come back :) :)

Our family of five (with three kids under four) had the most incredible month at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with a breathtakingly gorgeous beach just steps away. We felt completely safe the entire time, which was so important with little ones. The house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Maureen, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything seamless for us. And we can’t recommend Domingo the cook enough—her dinners were a highlight of our trip! We used her services every night, and every meal was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a stress-free, beautiful getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

Pictures dont do justice to how amazing the place is. The view is simply breathtaking and Rocio took care of everything as well as giving us some pretty good recommendations for places around the house.

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. A Peaceful Getaway Near the Beach It was a beautiful house close to the beach, and it was the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. Surrounded by nature, the property offered a private and peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation. Despite the secluded feel, it was just a short distance from town, making it easy to access restaurants and any essentials. For us was perfect because we were looking for a quiet escape or a balance between nature and accessibility, this place offers the best of both worlds! Looking forward to visit again.

First of all, I would like to thank Rick: his house was clean, well equipped with a huge kitchen, wash machine and dryer, AC in all rooms and situated in a lovely garden with a nice pool. The communication with Rick always worked well and he was very responsive. Now to the downsides (which aren't Ricks fault and beyond his influence): we traveled almost all other parts of Costa Rica during the weeks before our stay in Guiones and where shocked by the price level (a pizza, some pasta and a bit of shrimps were more than USD 170 in a restaurant nearby), the dirt (along the road is a lot of trash which you won't find in the rest of the country) and the terrible smell in the village. And while the beach is nice, the rest of the area is really not worth a visit

Wir waren eine Woche zu fünft im Haus von German und Francisco und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der Strand ist direkt vor dem Garten! Wie haben dort eine Delphintour gemacht und sind inmitten eines Delphinschwarms gelandet! German und Francisco waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns bei Fragen innerhalb kürzester Zeit geantwortet.

Eugenia's home was amazing. We didn't want to leave. Perfect place for family. Just be sure to have an appropriate vehicle to get around. The roads are tricky

El apartamento está prácticamente nuevo, todo funciona perfectamente. 4 ventiladores ultra silenciosos en cada habitación y en el balcón, aire acondicionado en el dormitorio que no usamos. Vajilla e implementos de cocina limpios y nuevos, plantilla de inducción eléctrica como estufa, horno electrico en perfecto estado de funcionamiento. Colchón y cama confortables con mesas de noche (falta una lámapra en una de ellas). Televisión con cable con el contendio medio de las cableras de la zona. Excelente servicio de internet de Kölbi. Baño, inodoro y ducha en perfectas condiciones con buen sistema de calentamiento de agua. Medianmente bien amueblado.

Spend a few days here with my teenage children for a fishing/surf trip. Condo was great, pool was lovely, kept our truck safely in garage below. In addition to cooking in the well stocked kitchen we walked 200 m to Isa's Bakery that opens at 7 a few mornings, also a coffee shop under the same roof with smoothies. El Chivo was great for dinner and a short walk. Playa Pelada was a very short walk away and we enjoyed a swim in the ocean and lounging in tide pools at low tide. A few small markets in the immediate area and large supermarket in Nosora or Super Nosara that is also great for provisioning. We drove to Playa Guiones for supper and surf boards (Often it was en route to another destination.) I think if you were shuttle to this condo you could easily hang out and use tuk tuks for longer jaunts and walk for the rest. Surf shop down the street. Fantastic stay ad very relaxing on the cover porch drinking coffee and watching birds fly in the morning Great Hosts.

El lugar cumplió nuestras expectativas , tuvimos la oportunidad de ir caminando a la playa por lo cerca que queda. El acceso fué fácil y hay comercios (restaurantes , coffee shops , supermercados, etc) bastante cerca. Mi esposo y yo la pasamos excelente ! Gracias a ambos por la atención y pronta respuesta.

Boris’ s place was a beautiful and comfortable space. Very close to Playa Pelada and very walkable to another bigger beach. Was a quiet building but some noise did carry from el pepperoni on New Year’s Eve but that only comes around once a year. Was very comfortable for our family of four and there was plenty to do in the area! Beds were VERY comfortable and linens were great! I would recommend!

Wonderful Condo. Hosts are very kind and understanding and the location is perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway. being able to walk to the beach very quickly is a huge plus.

The condo was beautiful, and you can't beat the view. Any questions we had were quickly addressed. The pool was really nice as well. You can't really walk to town safely because there is no sidewalk and it's a busy main road. Adults should be able to during the day I guess, we never attempted it. You can walk to town via the beach, the walk to the beach is easy. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious condo. The view is breathtaking and the place has everything we needed. Even on a hot night the pool has a bit of a breeze, as you are up above the main town. As long as you don’t mind the stairs , the place is absolutely wonderful. Parking is included and the gated entrance is easy. We had a great time !

A perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb was exceptional. Jean was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing clear check-in instructions and helpful local recommendations. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even more charming than the photos suggested. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered – from the fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and UNO - a nightly game for us! We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh coffee, shower toiletries, beach towels and fruit basket! The condo is quiet yet conveniently located to town and beach. We felt completely at home and safe during our entire stay. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free getaway.
