What a beautiful hidden gem in Isle of Wight! Highly recommend! Nina actually thought of everything and the pictures do not do this place justice! We didn’t want to leave at all… the bed was the most comfortable bed EVER! The location is perfect in the friendly town in the world! A real find and we can’t wait to rebook and go back… most dog friendly place ever aswell! Stunning place! Nina couldn’t do enough for us! Book now! You won’t be disappointed xx

Great little cabin with bags of character- lovely little hotub too. although we didn't get the chance there are a few little country pubs dotted around and apart from Richards house over the fence from the cabin, nothing but green fields. Richard was also a great host always checking to see if we needed any supplied while he was out.

Great place to switch off and relax for a weekend. Stunning views from the hottub. Kitchen well equipped, cosy sofa and plenty of blankets provided. We planned for a chilled quiet weekend, and that's what we got. Loved the horses, bunnies and birds around us. We even spotted a few deer in the rolling fields.

Had a wonderful stay, the lodge is lovely, very new and well equipped. overlooking a field with horses, it was so peaceful. Great location for exploring the coast and New Forest. Everything was communicated to us very well and we could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for three nights to celebrate his birthday. Perfect little escape - serene surroundings & amenities like the hot tub are naturally, very relaxing. The other five cabins are far enough away to give you privacy, without leaving you feeling completely alone. We used the Lansdown P&R (25min drive away) to take a day trip into Bath. The only thing guests should note there is no oven, so bear this in mind when planning self-catering. However, the hob & microwave should be adequate for most cooking needs. Could not fault this stay, Rachael was responsive & warm and provided everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Both the hot tub and cabin itself were spotlessly clean. The local swans were very interested in our morning fry-up, which provided some good entertainment! We left wishing we’d booked another night - would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at the Woodpecker lodge, it was very peaceful had all the required amenities to keep us going for the weekend and I would highly recommend staying here. We fished the lake and had great success with 10+ fish out a day with the biggest being a 13lb common, all fish were in great condition and were great fighters! All in a fantastic stay and will certainly be back!

What a gorgeous place! Sara you have made a really beautiful, quaint, peaceful retreat here. Beautifully decorated and well equipped riverside cabin. Easy to find, stunning surroundings and wildlife aplenty. The fact that there is no TV, no radio, no wifi and no phone reception is utter BLISS! If you want a digital detox, this is your place. We didn't see a single person for 2 whole days. Sara's instructions were friendly, easy to follow and she even left flowers and prosecco which is a lovely touch. Sara really has thought of everything with Pogle's cabin. Watching the fire as the sun sets, listening to the bird song and running water of the stream is a dream. So nice Sara is happy to have dogs stay here too, they absolutely loved their time here. The walks around the field and across the stream are so pretty and we often saw deer fleeting across. Thank you so much for a much needed weekend of R&R! So happy we have found this little slice of heaven, we will definitely be back.

The Cabin was in a beautiful setting with a modern, quality feel about it. On occasion we could see deer in the nearby field as we sat on the sofa. A lovely touch was the hand cream and other accessories which were provided to make our holiday feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Talia’s beautiful country cabin. We enjoyed the views and could even enjoy it on the sundeck. The cabin felt very cosy and friendly, it was quiet with nature all around. We loved every minute and would love to stay again.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is truly amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. It was the perfect two night getaway for my husband and I plus our two little dogs who loved all the local walks and being able to run free around the cabin. Anna left us loads of goodies and made sure to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather was great so we managed to enjoy a bbq and had marshmallows by the fire pit. The bed (a king) was incredibly comfy and the dogs even got their own bed and treats too. The cabin itself is super sturdy and well build and finished to an incredibly high standard and lots of nice little touches. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.....for the beautiful tranquil space and setting and for the super-kind and welcoming hosts. This is a little paradise that provides all the comforts of home and with some beautiful walks on the doorstep. Janie and Paul are incredibly hospitable and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay such a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful one as I was in transition during a house move.

It's a very beautiful space, thoughtfully decorated and has everything you might need including lots of books and games for little ones. I would absolutely stay again if the price were a little bit lower. It's a stretch to pay that per night for a family get away which was why we were only able to stay the one night. Anne was lovely, responsive and helpful. I slept beautifully on a very comfy bed with lovely linen. The view from the room into the garden and under the mulberry tree is sublime and the kids loved having an explore around the garden.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful property, lovely outdoor area with stunning views and friendly horses. Jenna was super responsive and check in was seamless. Lovely walks in the area and fantastic restaurants, we recommend The Wimborne Pig a 15min drive away! Delicious food! Stunning location. The photos do not do this place justice! We loved Steve’s place. Super dog friendly, especially the private woods at the back of the Shed. This place is really big, lots of space inside and out. Comfy bed and sofa. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend! Steve is super friendly and his guidebook super helpful.

Julie was fantastic from initial contact. She was immediately responsive and accommodating. We’d prearranged a late checkin, and arrived to a lovely considerate welcome package including bread, milk and jams. Julie’s place was lovely, cosy and quiet. It had everything we could need, and access to it was safe, simple and private. Julie had lots of local recommendations for us when asked, which was appreciated. She was also keen to listen to our experiences to pass on to future guests. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed using our base to explore all the west coast had to offer. We enjoyed that the accomodation displayed some of Julie’s own artwork- we were even lucky enough to arrive during an artists open studio weekend, so had the pleasure of seeing Julie’s studio - an added bonus.

Stunning location and just what we needed to totally get away from things. Small but perfect accommodation and the most amazing views.

This was an amazing stay the cabin was simply amazing , everything flowed from one room to another the bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow it was that comfortable, the bed linen was crsip and spotless we were both just taken back by it every little thing had been thought off the best we have sayed in and central to visit lots of places 😀

The cabin is a beautiful, peaceful little haven of tranquility we wish we'd have booked for longer (and will definitely be back!) But, what made our stay so much more unforgettable is our fabulous host Carolynn! When I booked I contacted to explain it was for our wedding; Carolynn got straight back to me, asked if there was anything we needed I immediately knew I'd booked with the right person, felt completely at ease about our stay (a big relief with major wedding stress!) Carolynn went above and beyond with extra special little touches to make it even more amazing! (Thank you so much for our lovely card, bottle of champagne and home made brownies!) We couldn't have asked for a better, more welcoming host!

We enjoyed staying at Mandy's chalet. Lots to space for our two kids and the view was beautiful. it was a very peaceful place to stay. Very easy to use and we had great weather so we sat outside and enjoyed the sun and scenery. We walked to the local cafe and pub easily. it's a great base for exploring all the sights amd we drove and then walked to the White Horse, which is an impression of a white horse built into the hillside. Mandy was helpful and available if we needed anything. We liked watching the cows. We would all like to visit again.

Anne's place is a little gem. Beautifully located with that stunning views, and so tastefully decorated. It really is as beautiful as the pictures show. Anne was super responsive with any queries I had. The full description is totally accurate with all the detail on access, walks from the area etc. I'll be returning :-)

This cabin was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfy. The kitchen was the right size. Plenty of parking. It was really lovely to sit out and watch the wildlife. We saw a hare everynight running through the field. Private, cosy and comfortable. Stourhead is just down the road which is brilliant and it's a perfect midpoint between Bristol and Weymouth
