The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. A special retreat, located close to the city and at the same time in the middle of nature: This is the Junior Suite (no kitchen) Perfect for travelers who like walking, jogging, cycling, relaxing at Lake Constance (20 min.) or hiking or skiing in the Alps (approx. 1 hr.). Ravensburg (5 km) with 50,000 inhabitants invites you to go shopping and visit various sights. Very popular with children is the attraction park Ravensburger Spieleland (11 km). Breakfast can be booked for an extra charge.

My apartment is located in the small, idyllic village of Ittendorf, very quiet in a cul-de-sac and is ideal to recover from the stress of everyday life. It is a small place with 750 inhabitants, surrounded by orchards. It is part of a detached house and is located in the basement. The apartment has a separate access with a small sunny breakfast terrace. A free parking space right in front of the door ensures a comfortable arrival and departure. .

Quiet apartment for relaxation

The granny apartment is in a very quiet location without through traffic at the edge of the forest. The surroundings invite you to take long walks, bike tours or hikes. The apartment has about 40 square meters of living space and has a separate entrance, as well as a terrace overlooking the pond. Überlingen on Lake Constance is in approx. 15 minutes by car. The nearest swimming lake Illmensee or Pfullendorf is also in approx. 20 minutes.

Oasis of tranquility near the lake... Captain's House

Our apartment is very tranquil and completely quiet in a street parallel to the lake. It is located on the 2nd floor, and has a beautiful wrap-around balcony with table and chairs for a nice day in the sun. Just a short walk separates you from the shore of the natural beach and the many other tempting leisure activities. We now also have a charging station for electric vehicles. In our house is another apartment… Captains Suite.

Lake time

The apartment, which was completed in the spring of 2018, can be reached via an external wooden staircase. Now nothing stands in the way of a relaxing "lake time." With one bedroom, an open living and dining room, bathroom, kitchen and two balconies with great lake views, the apartment offers an ideal retreat for a great vacation. Enjoy your stay with us. Welcome to our cozy and quiet place to stay. Enjoy a few relaxing days, let your mind wander. For example, with a good glass of wine and the view from the balcony of the small harbor of Wangen, whose lighting is reflected in the evening in the lake, an extended walk, a hike nearby or a trip by biking or car to one of the cultural-historical places or towns in the vicinity. In the evening, quick to swim in the lake.

Walk to the lake in swimsuits in the morning and swim a small round, then enjoy breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace and then spend the day in the beach bath 2 minutes away. In the evening, stroll to the beautiful old town of Überlingen and then end the evening on the terrace. Either way he could look like a holiday in our holiday apartment on Lake Constance.

Historic farmhouse in a quiet location (1)

The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.

Our spacious two bedroom apartment is in walking distance to Salem Castle and a beautiful swimming lake Schlosssee with water playgrounds and pirate boat as well as Affenberg, the Salem monkey reserve. Situated in landscaped grounds and with its big wooden terrace this house is a real landmark.
