The host was a nice guy anyway. When I wasn't sure, he helped me as soon as I contacted me, which was very helpful. There is a short distance to the supermarket, but the market for Capo is right next to it and you can get cheap, delicious fresh ingredients. The market people were very kind. If you use it continuously, the hot water of the shower will not come out, but if you leave it for about an hour, you can use it without problems. One of the things I did without any difficulties during my three-day stay was thanks to the kind host. Thank you very much!

Indre and Vincenzo's studio gave us a great base to explore Palermo from. It felt like we had a truly authentic visit to the city and were walking distance from most of the main attractions and loads of places to eat and drink. Indrė and Vincenzo were excellent hosts! They were very friendly, helpful & gave us useful tips regarding our stay. The apartment is situated in a great location, near the old market where you can buy fresh local produce and try some of the best street food in Palermo. Everything you might need (sightseeing objects, restaurants and supermarkets) is located in a walking distance (we only used bus once to get to the central train station, took us about 10 mins). The apartment itself is very cozy and stylish. All in all, we had an amazing stay and hopefully will be coming back :)

The clean apartment has everything you need and is amazingly well located for easily walking to all of the many amazing sites of Palermo, as well as the great market on the next street and many good nearby restaurants. Really great accommodation. A mini Luxury apartment in the heart of the historic center. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our holiday in Palermo. Attention to detail, comfortable and with a memory mattress of excellent quality. It is 100 meters from " 4 canti" and all major monuments are within walking distance. A few steps from Piazza Marina with its magnificent antiques market on Sunday morning. The neighborhood is really very lively, with many bistros and restaurants to enjoy the excellent Sicilian cuisine or Palermo street food. Under the house there is an excellent bakery. The apartment is equipped with a lovely kitchen, very convenient for a breakfast at home.

I would highly recommend this Airbnb. It is very stylish and has everything you need. The location is amazing, you are in walking distance from all the main attractions, good restaurants and bars. Our host Mariam was very accommodating and met us at the apartment when suited us best and she communicates with you very quickly.

If you want to stay in a breathtaking, antique building, steps away from street food and bars, but still want to live in comfortable modern luxury, definitely stay here! We loved the little touches such as the comfy blankets, pretty espresso cups as well as the den-like bedroom and spacious shower. Great location to be in of an evening as everything is walking distance as well as bakeries and other fast food. We sent pictures of this place back to our friends at home it was that lovely! a romantic little place, thank you 💕

The apartment is perfectly located. From there, all sights are within walking distance. Christian welcomed us very nicely, had great tips for the city and was very helpful with parking. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. We spent the night there from Saturday to Sunday, because the apartment is very central, it can be a bit louder at night. Here Christian has already taken care of Oropax. Highly recommended, we had a very nice and relaxing stay!

The location is great, walking distance to the marina, and to all the major sites including the Ballaro Market. Ideal for a short stay in Palermo. The location of the apartment is great for walking to all the sights of the old town. It is a bit loud at night, but Christian provides oropax. There is a possibility to cook and a good coffee machine. It was particularly helpful and friendly that we were able to check in two hours earlier.

Edificio storico, apparently, a great building in any case. The flat was comfy and quite nice. City centre, close to more or less everything. Communication with the host was superb.

Super accommodation, refurbished, bright, clean, well placed, in the city center close to the Vucciara district. Very practical because the shuttle bus from Palermo airport (company Prestia e Comande) drops off at a stop located 300m from the apartment. Christian is a great host, he greeted us despite the late hour of our arrival: 1am ... And explained everything to us. The neighborhood is very lively, so there is entertainment on the street, it did not bother us to sleep because we had planned the kies and Christian had provided them anyway. We share a corridor with Christian's apartment which lives just opposite and we have the apartment just for us. We were able to leave our luggage in this corridor while visiting the city, before taking our train (station just 15 minutes from the apartment, that too is very practical!). We highly recommend this accommodation!

We’ve visited the place for a weekend Palermo trip. The apartment is amazing, located in the very centre so you can literally get everywhere on foot. The place was clean and Christian made the trip super easy for us with some local tips and sightseeing suggestions. Strongly recommend!

Paola is a quality host, responsive to requests, who despite our arrival at night knew how to hand us the keys, as well as explain to us how the elements of the accommodation work. The apartment is ideally located in the historic center of Palermo, no need to take transport for visits. The train station to visit other cities is 20min walk. We recommend !

It was the best host! You reply quickly and are really friendly. The room was clean and the terrace was so nice. The terrace and the room are not directly connected, but you can move around freely. If you come to the hotel from the station, it is recommended to come to the main street. Google Maps tells me how to get to markets and alleys, but the roads are complicated and it was hard to carry luggage.

What an exceptional stay! Vince very kindly arranged an early check-in for me and left me with the longest list of tips for exploring Palermo -- I wasn't able to make a dent with my short stay. He was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. Oh and the terrace has great views!

good location. There is no elevator, you have to take always to the top floor. The room is very comfortable and warm. You will have best view in the old city.

I went late the night of check-in and was a little scared because of the alleys. But there are many restaurants nearby and the location is really good. It was only 1.2km from the station, so it was able to pull the carriers, so I dragged the carriers at check-in and check-out. Free coffee machine and roof top. Sven also responded with quick answers. After checking out, he gave me a lot of luggage and gave me a warm welcome.

Great space, very cosy and comfortable. The room is stylishly decorated and very bright. The best surprise was the outstanding terrace with the most amazing view over the sunset and the entire town. Mark that the only sink is in the bathroom so home cooking might be a little tricky but we went out for food. Location is perfect. Sven was also very helpful and let us check in later than originally planned.

Beautiful apartment in the very center of Palermo. We loved the decoration, the terrace and of course the breath taking roof top with amazing views. The house was max. 10min away from everywhere. The communication with sven was easy and effective. No problems at all. Really recomendable for a short or long stay in Palermo. So sad to leave... 😪😍

Aldo's crib is in the heart of Palermo. The flat is beautiful and has a stylish interier. Aldo is very helpful with everything. If you consider going to Palermo by car (which is quit fun) he can help you with the ZTL things.

Perfect location in the hustle and bustle of the cities historic centre. The flat is larger than it looks and Aldo is fantastic with speedy communication. Only thing to be mindful of is you must check in between 3pm-8pm otherwise you have to pay 20 euro.

Anotnio was simply amazing as well as his home. He met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The location of the air bnb is in the heart of the Old Town and is very easy to walk everywhere! It is an amazing old building with sculptures and marbel features with a very cool interior! HIGHLY RECCOMEND! This is a property not to be missed!

There is not much to add to the many positive reviews that were already posted here. Antoinio's apartment is indeed a quirkily arty and comfortable oasis above the historical centre of Palermo. Quiet and sunny in the day, one step away from buzzing friendly bars at night. And the host is as friendly and helpful as described. The place has a homely feel that competes with Palermo's many sites and draws you back "home" for a siesta or early night and makes it worth climbing the 132 steps of the magnificent entry stairs. We spent 8 days here and it is somewhere we would like to go back if we find ourselves in Palermo again. It sleeps four, but probably works best for a couple or three-four very good friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom, as there not really are any "private" rooms (apart from the bathroom! :)

This two-level apartment is located in an old palazzo. It is elegant, has all the amenities you could want and you can’t beat the location!!! Antonio has been a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and would come back any time.

I was in Palermo alone for the first time and the location is lovely. In a characteristic alley immersed in the historical center with all the services, shops and restaurants. Vincenzo and Giusy's home is my dream home with everything you need in a comfortable location. The house is as you can see in the photo: beautiful, bright, silent, clean and fragrant and with a security service so very safe. Vincenzo super kind will give you all the necessary information. With them I also took advantage of the taxi service which at 4 am has me buzzed and taken to the airport. Super recommended.

Giusy's house is beautiful, in a modern, elegant and refined style. It is located in a historic building with an elevator right in Piazza Vigliena, in the heart of Palermo. I, being a single girl, had a great time even going out for dinner, as the area is crowded even in the evening and therefore very safe. The cleanliness is impeccable and Giusy was very kind to leave coffee and lots of snacks for breakfast. The bed is high and comfortable, with lots of cushions. I will definitely be back !!!

Giulio’s place was the perfect spot to explore Palermo. The apartment was close to everywhere I wanted to go. It's a super easy walk to the main attractions in Palermo, the train station, and there are so many good restaurants all around. I was a woman traveling alone and felt safe staying there. Giulio was the best host. He left local pastries for me when I arrived, along with coffee for the coffee maker, and also had the refrigerator filled with yogurt and milk. I really appreciated that. He clearly explained the best way for me to get to the apartment from the airport (the sharing taxi or the bus), and very clearly explained how to check into the apartment. He also was able to accommodate me leaving my bags for a little longer than check out was, and I really appreciated that. The apartment was super comfortable and stylish. The terrace/balcony lets in sunlight, but you can also close the shutters if you don't want that. The wifi works great and the kitchen was equipped with a stove and small oven, and cooking essentials. It really is the perfect place. Can't wait to stay there again the next time I'm back in Palermo.

the apartment was very nice and super clean. what was very sweet - a traditional cake was waiting for us as a welcome gift. the fridge was full of milk, juices what was very helpfull. the place is easy to find. there are many restaurants on the same street and near it. it is 5 minutes to port (you can see it from the balcony) and main street (via Roma) and also to beautifull park and convenience store (carrefour).

Davide's flat is perfect for travelers who like to be in the heart of a dynamic, historic part of a city. The market is right out your door, yet we were never bothered by the noise. Capo market is delightful and offers everything you need. The apartment is as pictured and very clean. The bedroom is big, and the bed was comfortable. We had no problems sleeping, and the heater worked fine. Davide met us at a nearby restaurant, L'Acerba. a wonderful place to dine, and took us up to the apartment to explain its features. He even gave us delicious cannolis as a treat and bought us fresh pressed juice , which is made outside the apartment steps. He also arranged a shared taxi for us to get to the airport. Davide also came running by on his morning run to wish us safe travels. If you love feeling the pulse of a city, stay at Davide's flat.

We loved the location of the apartment. In the mid of the Capo market street with a balcony in the sun from where we could overlook the lively street and enjoy our morning coffee. The street was quiet during night. The location is perfect, in the central part of the old city center with all its historic buildings. What a wonderful time I had in Palermo! It was my first solo trip & I could not have wished for a better place to stay. Marjolein received me, almost literally, with open arms and took ample time to provide me with tips and information about the area. Wonderful, spacy, clean, calm, nicely decorated, arty, comfortable

I flew with my teenage son to Sicily on 2/3/2020. We started sightseeing from Palermo. We have already found the Roberto apartment in Poland (a room with an interesting kitchenette - seriously, everything you need to eat breakfast on the balcony and bathroom). We stayed there for 2 days. We arrived by car rented at the airport. The host bought a parking fee for us (the apartment is in a restricted area), the next day also. So the search for where and what ticket to buy fell away. Price: 5 euros / day. You can also ask for a transfer from the airport, Roberto suggested it to us, but we wanted our own car. While exploring the city and its attractions we did not use it, so a safe place came in handy. The apartment is on the 6th floor and its balcony and large window match the roofs of Palermo and it was a great view and sensation for us. Dinner of the first evening consisting of simple and regional products purchased from przesympatyczna Italians who run a shop right at the door of the house (oranges, olives, cooked broccoli, fragrant bread, chickpeas). I eat vegetal so a bomb for me and my son chose fresh cheese, eggs, prosciutto). I get up early, so the common living room saved me in the morning. I took care of my business while my son was still asleep. All attractions are nearby, main street, theaters, churches, fountain. Everyone to visit, eat, so I will not write here. You can read a lot about places, but experience counts as well. It was great for us! Clean, fragrant, warm, beautiful view. It so happened that there were no other guests in the apartment, we felt very at ease. Inhabitants of the building are nice. The elevator turned out to be an attraction because it is already old (in a positive sense, of course). The stairs in the tenement house are beautifully arranged, and at the very top of the building is a window that lets in sunlight. This is an amazing location for getting to experience Palermo which is one of the most amazing cities in the world. And this is one of my all time favorite Airbnbs. It’s my 3rd stay here, and I’ve already written 2 reviews but this time I was with my husband who couldn’t get over the view and the location!!! 5 stars for everything. Everything is good. The location is also close to the tourist or bus terminal, clean and safe, and above all, the view from the terrace was good. Everyone will be satisfied with this accommodation.

Such a great private space with a beautiful balcony view of Palermo rooftops and the morning sunrise. Roberto was great with communication. Responded really quickly and gave good direction on how to get there from the airport. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. You have your own private bathroom, which was the hugest perk to me. Also, a little kitchenette, safe box, and bidet are other amenities I was pleasantly surprised with. And unlike many other Airbnb’s, Roberto actually stocks shower gel and shampoo for his guests! This was definitely one of my top 3 AirBnb experiences.

Roberto's place was great and as advertised. Very clean, wonderful view, nice big bathroom (with very good water pressure!), and the location is perfect for visiting Palermo. The apartment works for a couple, but is best equipped for a solo traveler. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone coming to see Palermo.

We really enjoyed our stay in Michele’s apartment. Michele is very kind and helpful, and the self check-in was really easy and quick. The apartment is well-equipped and extremely well located, right in the centre of the old town. As we came in February, it was quite cold in the apartment, but there was a heater, which meant that it wasn’t a problem. Overall a really convenient and comfortable place to stay!

We were greeted warmly. Even when our flight landed very late we were still greeted and shown around the apartment. We were offered a later checkout free of charge because our flight was late which was very nice. I had a lovely stay at the flat of Indre and Vincenzo. The location is a great spot for hip and cosy restaurants and shopping, a short walk to Opera teatro Massimo and all the history site like the amazing fountain Pretoria. Very prompt communication from the hosts and I also received lots of local tips for drinks and restaurants. Palermo is a great beauty.

Just a few steps from the door, there are is fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, poultry, cheese and many other things for sale. Most monuments are just minutes away. A car is not needed and even a problem, as it is hard to find a parking spot. But the central train and bus station is just a short walk away.

The stay at Silvia & Marco's apartment was beyond expectations! Excellent apartment, perfect cleaning, and super location to get from the station and move around the city on foot.

Alberto's apartment is located in an optimal position in the center of Palermo as it allows you to reach the points of interest comfortably on foot. It is also perfectly equipped and the proportion of spaces is also adequate. To conclude, Alberto was very helpful, so I can only give 5 stars. See you soon!

Alberto's place is simply wonderful. Located in a quiet street off the arterial road in Palermo, it is a hidden gem though connected to all the key sights by foot. The apartment is self-contained, thoughtfully decorated, and very modern -- quite a rare combination in the historic centre! The price is also a steal, and it was a calm and quiet neighbourhood. I would definitely return again soon.

Piera's place was a convenient base to explore Palermo and nearby places. While I didn't meet Piera in person, she was very quick to respond to questions and help with issues. If you are looking for a place in Palermo's historic district, with good transportation options to the airport and central train station, you can't go wrong in choosing this place.

The location of the house is amazing, it’s in the centre of the Old Town. The house was not only very clean, but also big enought. I recommend it for a couple or for friends. Marco, was very kind and hospitable. If I go to Palermo again, I surely stay at the same house!!!!

10 minutes walk from Palermo station, so I chose to take the morning train. It was good. There is also an affordable hypermarket called Lidl nearby. But I'm afraid to walk around the hostel to go alone. Go in groups! I got the keys directly from my host Marco. Please give me a towel. The room is spacious and good! However, excessive electricity is used to cut off electricity. You can find the toad house and put the breaker again. I was running two great dryers It was hard to go up the stairs, but the host helped!

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and cozy! The bed and sofa sleeper were very comfortable. Great location! Explored a lot of Palermo.

toni’s place suited us perfectly - it was spacious and well kept, with a balcony that offered stunning views. It’s quiet but also so near the action of bustling Palermo. On your doorstep are tasty restaurants and bars... too many to choose from in fact. We really appreciated the recommendations toni gave us for food and drink... each were tastier than the last! Definitely a great place to stay if you enjoy walking, eating and drinking. So near all the main sites and easy transport links to the airport and other places in Sicily

The apartment is in a very, very good location. You can walk anywhere you can see the sights in Palermo. And Toni and Leonarda are really very nice hosts who are always very helpful. You can spend very relaxed. However, it is very loud outside at night (especially weekend), it is really quiet in the apartment. Very highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay at Svens apartment. It was super nice and clean. Right in the middle of the historic city center. Many bars and restaurants around.

Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed the stay. The flat is very close to the historical centre, 5 minute walk to the sea. In the evening it was little bit louder because of the bar which is in the same building, but still ok to fall asleep. There is also an opportunity to use the terasse from which you can see all Palermo and sea.

Perfect place to experience the most authentic Palermo. It allows you to visit it comfortably on foot. Central but very quiet area. The parking space in the historic center is a plus that should not be underestimated.

We had a lovely stay at this lofted apartment. It's a short walk to where a lot of the city's nightlife flourishes but is very quiet and peaceful at night. Giuseppe was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. Checking in and out was super simple. The loft was tidy and very spacious with a comfortable bed. The shower is a bit smaller than anticipated but with good water pressure. Overall, it was a very comfortable and easy stay and we would consider staying here again if we returned to Palermo.

Sven's place is out of this world . The fantastic location is so near to the ocean and the breath taking panorama from the roof terrace is unbeatable. A wooden staircase reminds you of being in an old church and we actually caught some sun in February! Thank you Sven for the cooperation and tips you gave us. If you want a special kind of accomodation come to Sven. We also looked into the small apartments Sven has and they are soooooooooo cosy to say the least

It's authentic and great place where to stay while visiting Palermo. If you looking for modern and light place where to stay, this might not be the place for you, because as I said it is nice authentic place and matching well with the atmosphere of Palermo .. and Palermo is all about rustic idylls. I had great stay, Sven was always ready to give quick response for my questions.

It is right in the middle of the city and it is convenient to reach most of the sightseeing location. The room is clean and comfortable. Roberto is helpful for letting us check-in earlier. Roberto also introduced us a very good restaurant nearby and we had a very delicious dinner.

You could not ask for a more amazing location! Just steps from via Roma and via Maqueda, so getting around was so easy. The apartment was very clean and had anything you would need. The bonus is the shower — Such a treat, especially after a long flight. We would stay again for sure, really loved it.

What emerges immediately, in addition to the welcome and kindness of the owner, is the tactical position of the apartment. In fact it is located in the center, near the best pastry shops and restaurants. I would also add that the central station and the tram are only a 15 minute walk away. The building in which the apartment is located is well maintained and has two terraces, one of which has a breathtaking sea view which in the late afternoon offered spectacular sunsets. The owner has also made available a very welcoming common living room in which to have coffee or something else. The apartment is nice and equipped with the necessary. Super recommended for those who want to visit all of Palermo and enjoy the beauty it offers. The owner was punctual in the reception and very helpful.
