Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

We wanted to share this property and all its magic with anyone who genuinely appreciates the outdoors. So please enjoy a stay in a natural setting with a catch and release fishing pond, indoor/ outdoor fireplace, and all the quiet one can ask for. Sip your morning coffee to the sounds of wildlife just a few minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg.

We are required to collect and pay an additional Local Occupancy Tax of 7% for this reservation through the resolution Center. At Gourmet Getaway you'll be welcomed with bottled water and appetizers after your day of travelling. Relax on the patio or water front gazebo. Wake up refreshed in the morning and grab some breakfast and Keurig coffee before you head out and explore the Hill Country. We take extreme care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. The Villa at Spotted Sheep Farms, an Italian style 1,800 square foot home with beautiful finishes and a luxurious huge master suite. The property is home to animals and wild life including alpacas, miniature donkeys, and of course, spotted sheep! It’s perfect for a getaway, relaxing, enjoying some of Texas' best wineries, Fredericksburg shopping and the quiet evening in the hot tub.

Welcome to Oak Haus in The Glades on winery corridor. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy wine at the fire pit or coffee on the porch, where deer might scamper by. Spend your time relaxing, playing games or swimming in the heated cowboy pool (which is a 10 foot stock tank) in the common leisure corral. Visit the 12 wineries, brewery or two distilleries that are within one and a half miles of Oak Haus. Fredericksburg is just a short drive away.

Among the Texas Stars is a great little cabin located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries. The house offers great views, hot tub, bubble tub, and a fully equipped kitchen. While this cabin is private, there are two other guest-homes nearby. Over 300 acres surround the house, making it great for walking and enjoying nature. Being a working ranch guests will see horses and cattle during a stay.
