Nice antique buildinh, with amazing view over Lake Erie. Although chilly in the backyard in Feb, must be incredly beautiful in the summer time. Great location and economic choice.

We had a wonderful time and the views are amazing. Note: the bedrooms are down a spiral staircase so may be a little tricky for some and the microwave was hidden above the fridge. Overall, it was a wonderful place to spend the weekend and Gjergji was very responsive to questions. :)

The view is amazing! It was great to be on the lake without having to be out in the weather (we were here in the winter) super clean and beautiful. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!!

We were visiting Oberlin, and this stay was a reasonable drive (about 20 or 25 minutes) and the location right on the lake was amazing! The whole place felt really clean and recently remodeled and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again when we had more time.

My friend and I booked this place for a weekend trip to Kalahari. It was absolutely beautiful! We already agreed we would try to come back this summer so we can enjoy the view even more. Great spot!

Mike and Di’s place was absolutely amazing. I just had a quick stop there on my cross country road trip and the sunset over the lake was 100% worth the stop and slight detour off route! Absolutely stunning. The place had great views and all the amenities you need and more thoughtful touches. Also, if you love some fresh baked goods, check out kiedrowski’s simply delicious bakery about 10 miles away and amazingly fresh pastries!! Would definitely stay at Mike and Di’s again if ever back in the area.

Lovely quaint lakeside home. Large kitchen and living room areas and great views of the lake. We were there on a very cold February weekend. I imagine it would be fabulous in warmer weather when you can fully appreciate the location.

My boyfriend and two dogs stopped here on our drive across country. It was a great place to stay overnight and the views were amazing. Be careful renting in the winter because obviously it can get so cold right on the lake. Mike and Di responded immediately when the pipes froze while we were there and we still had a great stay.

I was born and raised in Lorain. Downtown Lorain is up and coming and 2020 is the start of this new chapter for Lorain. This location is a hidden gem. Located inside an atrium, this condo is a spectacular place to unwind and get away for a weekend. Clean, fun, and cozy. The condo is obviously used so some wear-and-tear for sure but then again, it’s not a 5 star hotel - it’s an Airbnb. Lots of parking. Cool new places to check out around. A lot more spacious than expected and way more private than I anticipated which was phenomenal. Instructions are clear and if you still can’t figure out how to get in or out - the host is always available via messaging and they respond QUICK. Lorain is up and coming so if you’re expecting an already established town, go head towards Lakewood. Lorain is being renovated and lots of cool bars, restaurants and fun things are coming or already there. The Brew & Stew coffee shop is only seconds away and their food and coffee is outstanding. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and for sure brought my own toiletries since again, it’s not a hotel. But that’s just me.

This place is excellent! You do not remember that you’re in Ohio once you get there. Great place!

Nice place to stay and s great environment

Driving to the condo, I was a bit worried we would not be satisfied. Upon walking in the door, I was immediately pleased. The way the condos are set up indoors is like a street, complete with porches, gardens, and even birds. Our condo was very clean, tastefully decorated, and more than enough space to host us for the night. If I am ever in the area again, this will be my first choice for lodging. This place exceeded expectations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! The hallway decorated as an outdoor walkway was impressive! My kids enjoyed feeling like they were on a small street setting. The house was clean and had everything we needed! The space is so much bigger than I thought based off pictures and the building itself! We will definately stay here again if we are in the area!

His house definitely is a diamond in the rough. It was hard to know what to expect just off his post/description of the place because it had no description of place or surroundings at all. It was definitely overall very nice though. Very cute on the inside! Did not like that door was unlocked prior to coming, and didn’t have key pad lock to obtain key. Felt like anyone could’ve been inside the apartment because front door to building is unlocked, and entering the atrium was unlocked, then entering condo was unlocked with key on counter inside. Feel like key locked in keypad would keep it more secure (if anything-make the guests staying feel like it’s locked and no one is inside...) And downstairs bed did not have fitted sheet, but these are just small complaints. It does deserve a good rating because it truly is a nice Airbnb, as well as a BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS coffee shop attached with AMAZING cappuccinos! As well as a local park on Lake Erie. It’s in a very small and quaint town, hardly felt like any people were around. Overall, would stay again!

CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! hands down one of the COOLEST places I have ever stayed and an incredible find last minute. The outside does not reflect the wonder inside and I love the hidden gem aspect of this rental. The surrounding town was under a lot of construction but there is a coffee and lunch restaurant attached to the building where the rental is located! Other restaurants and live music were within walking distance as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone traveling to the lorain/ vermilion area! She gives good recommendations if you ask her. Her two small puppies are adorable as well. The area is very safe, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is outside the room but still feels like a private one. Her place will definitely be on top of my list if I ever come back to the area.

Kelly went above and beyond during our recent stay in her cabin. Her cabin was clean and comfortable. She had a variety of breakfast items ready for us when we arrived. We arrived during a wild thunderstorm and several tree branches came down. Kelly and her husband were there the next morning to clean up the branches and debris from the storm. We had a wonderful weekend.

This cozy and comfortable cottage has spaces to suit everyone in your group. We had 4 generations of family together, and there was privacy where necessary, lots of space to be together, and anything we needed conveniently close. Loved evenings on the front porch or strolls in the park, and the beach was just the right amount of sun and fun. Kelly is a terrific host, and the neighbors are friendly and helpful too.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Kelly's lake house. The location is ideal--it's right across the street from Lakeview Park and so easy to get to. One unexpected perk was the plethora of towels! It was so nice not to worry about having to share towels, etc. There were also plenty of beach towels and toys for the sand. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfectly located across the street from a lovely park and beach. Communication with Kelly was very smooth and helpful. The house is very charming with some fun quirks. We appreciated being set up with the basics: breakfast, coffee and cream, enough quality toilet paper for the entire stay, and paper towels. The only thing we were in need of was an extra trash bag. Could use some upgrades (there are box TVs in every room with no cable), but was great for our needs: porch sitting and a place to crash after trips to Put-In-Bay and Cedar Point. We would definitely return.

Dan and Linda were exceptional hosts. The room was stocked with everything I could've anticipated needing for an overnight stay, including snacks, coffee, fridge, backup toiletry supplies, and area maps. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, as well, and were very respectful of my space, while always making themselves available to help. Linda made a beautiful breakfast in the morning, too, which was a great start to the day. Great airbnb experience!

They are by far the nicest couple we have stayed with. The place was very nice and clean. The location was perfect and Dan even helped us by giving us directions and also to call our car rental place ahead of time. It was a wonderful stay.

Dan’s place was really awesome. We stayed at their place when we were traveling to Pennsylvania. The room had everything you need. The restroom and the room were extra clean and they even provided the guests with snacks, coffee and checked if we want breakfast. They stayed awake for us( we reached there 12 am) to arrive to their place so that they can make sure they show us of everything we need. I would definitely stay at this place again when I go to Ohio.

A very clean and comfortable condo. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms give you plenty of space for longer stays. The location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Some fun local bar and grills down the street as well. The building itself was quiet, even on the weekends. I would recommend for others.

The location across from Lakeview Park gives great views. We walked the beach and found driftwood. The house is updated and decorated so that it feels very welcoming. We will recommend the house to visitors in the future.

We had a lovely girls weekend here and it was a perfect location next to Lake Erie - loved going over to the park and listening to the waves. The home is beautiful and very welcoming - thanks so much!

We had 8 people stay comfortably at the Beacon BnB. It had a big kitchen with plenty of dishes for all of us. There was lots of space in the cupboards for all of our food. The furniture was comfortable too! They are making lots of renovations to the house so there some nice changes from the pictures. It was close to the beach, a block or so across the grass. There was a local band playing there the night before we left so that was a lovely added surprise. Dishwasher, washer, dryer all worked great!

The location can't be beat!!! Kelly was an excellent host and incredibly responsive. We loved the easy access to the beach and parks.

Awesome place to stay across from the lake! Great for large families or people traveling with friends. Beautiful home centrally located near some great local restaurants. Or if you just want to stay in after you watch the sunset on the lake, call Marco's Pizza (It was fantastic!!). And Kelly is a wonderful host, with quick response, and a super simple check-in process. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great experience at Kristi's cute little house. Only stayed one night so I did get to experience all the great amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

I am very happy to have lived intermittently in this cozy cottage for a month. The host was a very enthusiastic girl and helped me a lot. The cottage is the right size and well-equipped, making it a good place to stay temporarily. The traffic in front of the house is convenient, and the lawn behind the house is leisurely and quiet.

This is the happiest homestay I have ever stayed in.

I mistakenly booked the room for the wrong week and didn't realize until about three hours before I was supposed to be there. Dr. Alice responded quickly and helped me switch the reservation at no extra cost. She was extremely nice and helpful. The bathtub and shower were also out of this world. Beautiful and huge, the bathroom should be in a catalogue. Animals were all very well behaved and friendly. Would recommend!

This is a clean, safe, and a home away from home place. My wife and I love visiting our favorite swing out back. Love the easy check in process and Alice is quick to respond. Alice goes above and beyond! She had the week of Christmas blocked out for her family and she was so kind to allow us to stay in one of her rooms while her family was home. This space is such a great find! Welcoming hosts were very inclusive by inviting me to join them in the living room to watch TV with them. They gave me a tour of this stunning space, that is where I met brother and sister siamese cats Hansel and Gretel, Hansel let me pick him up and we toured to place together! Would love to stay again!

We loved our beautiful bedroom with velvet curtains and a gorgeously vintage ceiling with stars. We also loved seeing Christmas decorations everywhere including our room. Dr. Alice is a very welcoming hostess and we felt right at home.

Dr. Alice is a wonderful host. The house is beautiful if you enjoy old historic homes as much as I do. My favorite part of the house was the bathroom with the claw foot bathtub. Spacious and comfortable to relax with a bath or take a refreshing hot shower. My bedroom was also very spacious and very comfortable. Dr. Alice provides a full breakfast and will cook for your personally. I very much enjoyed my fresh blueberry pancake and a chat with her and her mom as we ate. House is at a very nice location in Elyria, and very close to Oberlin college where I was visiting my son. I highly recommend her place.

The Lakehouse was great and Kara was a friendly and helpful host. This is our first Airbnb experience, and I can easily say it will not be our last. First off, Kara was super helpful with our needs and accommodated us for our last minute visit to see a sick relative. We appreciated being close to our family and having everything we needed to cook, wash clothes, and keep the kids entertained (aka WiFi and tv 😇). I’m so glad we stayed here and not at a hotel. We saved tons not eating out and enjoyed the quiet area and proximity to parks. Our kids were thrilled that it snowed while we were there and we had a place to play. Kara was very helpful and responsive to our needs while there. And patient as we worked through our first Airbnb booking experience, complete with mistakes in number of days. We loved having the three bedrooms—and can only assume the king sized sleep number bed was comfy as our 7 year old wouldn’t give it up. 😂 I wish our shower at home had such great water pressure. The house is located in a neighborhood and the folks we saw were friendly. All in all a great stay.

Kara was great to work with. The house was great and extremely clean. The water heater is amazing (family of four with two teen girls) never ran out of hot water. The location was just a couple of minutes from where my family lives which was very convenient. There are grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations close by. We had a great time and would go back again without reservation!

Great location within walking distance of a marina, fishing pier, and nice restaurant over looking the marina to enjoy the sunset during dinner. The lodge itself has lake views, is very clean, has off street parking, and is located on a quiet one way street. I enjoyed the small enclosed porch to watch the sunrise on a chilly morning and caught just a glimpse of what I though was a bald eagle taking a fish from the lake later in the day.

Kara is a wonderful, warm and helpful host. Her house is lovely, extremely comfortable and wonderfully situated across the street from Lake Erie with an easy walk (or run) to a fantastic pier and restaurant where you can watch the beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay there again!!! Thank you, Kara!

I wish there was a 100 Star ⭐️ rating that I can give this great host and this awesome house! The month I’ve spent at this place felt like a month I spent at my brother’s place, felt just like home! Amity is a great host and even a greater gentleman! The house is sparkling clean, all the utilities you can think of are included, from clean towels and bed sheets to high speed WiFi and Netflix and many others. Staying at Amity’s house felt just like those fancy Dubai hotels. If ever I come back to Cleveland I’d be booking Amity’s place for sure. There are two big supermarkets and many restaurants a short walk away from Amity’s house and literally 2–3 minutes away by car. Along with Crocker park which has stores, restaurants and much more also a 3 minute drive away. I’d recommend this house to every person visiting Cleveland specially Westlake and the west side of Cleveland. Thank you Amity, you’re the best!

The room was very clean and well decorated. Lots of windows and light, but the blinds were also great! Abby, the dog, was super friendly and cute. Lots of thoughtful touches in this place as well. Right away it felt like home away from home.

The room is bright and airy, and the shower is very large and handicap accessible, which is lovely. The hosts are quite friendly. This is my second time staying here, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful and comfy! Many regular summer visitors there which shows a good find exists. The view of Lake Erie is one I’ll recall often! Close to Vermillion and great eateries! I’ll return down the road!

We were visiting Vermillion for our friends wedding and decided to come in early so we could help with set up. Amy was super accommodating the whole time. We ended up meeting with friends in Cleveland and arrived way later than we had anticipated. Amy's place was close by and super cute. We wish we had more time to see the property but unfortunately it was past 10pm when we finally arrived and we had to be up around 8am the next day for wedding festivities. The place itself was a super cute little cottage with a full bath and even had a little kitchenette. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us Amy!

This place was amazing! The host was very nice and had great tips about the area! The cottage was a perfect size and had local information inside. The view was breathtaking and it wasn’t too far from places to eat and Cedar Point!

This is the perfect little vintage cottage get away for any occasion. We spent just one night here for our anniversary, but would have loved to stay longer. The cottages are very clean and Amy, Dave and Trese are very helpful. The beach is easy to get to and they have a wonderful campfire in the evening to enjoy with the other guests. The cottages has everything you need, just need to bring food. The bed was very comfortable. We will definately be back again!

Perfect place to crash for the night on my way west. Less than a 30-minute drive to beaches along Lake Erie!

This stay was amazing! The hospitality was top notch, and our favorite amenity was the hot tub. Anne was extremely welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a wonderfully relaxing getaway and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is literally perfection. If you have a chance to visit Berea, you definitely should stay in this amazing Al & Anne’ place. At the first time, it could be worrying about the location that to move unless you have a car but there is a Uber and you can be asked them to drive. Otherwise, you can enjoy your time in this big and nice house is clean, tidy, fresh and peaceful. Al & Anne is a super amazing host and we made lots of conversation while I stayed there and their lovely Family is kind too. Don’t need to worry about amenities and room that it is much better than 3-4 stars ordinary hotels. There is everything that you need and a wonderful view will make you refresh every single morning. The welcome chocolate made me happy as well last few days either. Also, there is 10 years old cute cat, she would be like you if you respect and like her, she not terrify you :) I am serious wanna visit once again later and strongly recommend this beautiful place.

The house is beauitful, clean, and private. The pricing is better than any of the nice hotels in the area and I can guarantee the experience will be better. The Keurig machine that is kept stocked in the room is a very nice touch.

Anne and Al, have a great clean bedroom and bath for us in their home. It has a view overlooking the park behind you. Check in and out was very smooth. Location was perfect, as it was only a couple miles to the Cleveland IX convention Center.

Anne and Al were great hosts. They respected my privacy but were there when I needed them.

Gretchen‘s place is exactly how it is in the photographs. It’s very stylish with all the amenities I never knew I needed! A heated floor in the bathroom, a huge walk-in shower, a heated towel rack, Plenty of big soft cushy towels. I slept like a baby in the bedroom, the bed was wonderful, the sheets and the pillows were great. The kitchen is amazing not only in how it is decorated but it has all the bells and whistles: a soda maker, coffee pot, pots and pans, matching bowls and plates, measuring spoons, spices, a super cool retro style toaster a tea kettle...oh and an Alexa! There’s a Remote controlled fire place that saved me during my visit in December! Her TV has every provider you would want so I decided to marathon three seasons of the handmaid‘s tale! I was able to bring my dog Charlie, he loved Gretchen‘s family and the family pets. Even though it was December I was able to take Charlie way out in the backyard and play ball with him. I think I want to live here!

Gretchen’s place is marvelous! So much attention to detail with lots of unexpected extras. The place was convenient and comfortable, nestled in a lovely neighborhood. Gretchen really goes the extra mile - I thought I was at a spa for a minute! Very helpful and communicative. I was impressed! Would highly recommend.

Me and my fiance stayed at Gretchen's for 2 weeks, definitely one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at. Check-in was easy enough and Gretchen was always there to help if we needed! :)

The PERFECT space for any Cleveland travelers! Quick access to the highways and close to local stops. The space offers plenty of privacy, and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. The bathroom amenities were abundant... everything from toothbrushes to shampoo to lotions and more! Paired with heated floors, a huge walk-in shower, a towel warmer, and a lighted mirror - the bathroom is its own spa that makes it hard to leave! The kitchen was full of nice touches, too, including baked goods, basic kitchen staples and breakfast items to get our days started, and an open floorplan that looks out into the living and dining spaces. Gretchen's rental is truly a home away from home! She was quick to communicate, offered help and suggestions, and she was always there for any of our needs! This is hands-down the nicest Airbnb I've stayed in, and I won't need to ever look elsewhere for a place to stay the next time I'm in town. Thank you, Gretchen :)

Gretchen and her family were very hospitable and kind. She is more than willing to go above and beyond. This would easily be over $300+ per night if it were a hotel. Area was nice and clean with many choices close by for restaurants and drinks. I will definitely stop back on my future travel through the area!

This was my first time staying at an Air BnB and Gretchen set the bar extremely high. Such a wonderful space with wonderful, new amenities and great extra touches. I could have forgotten all my toiletries and it wouldn't have mattered! Beautiful home, safe and lovely neighborhood and a very friendly family. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting the Cleveland area!

The condo was nice. Finding a way to get in took a little thinking, but Gary gave quick responses. The place is a great find.

Really unique set of condos. Our second stay here. The construction on the main road there is complete now too, so easier to access/get out of now.

The pictures don’t do it justice. The place is a lot nicer than expected and the little indoor town is very nice and cozy. Overall very nice.

Beautiful home, the town is being restored so its a little scary but overall 10/10 recommendation.

As previously stated, this is a TOTAL GEM. Comfortable, charming, AMAZING hospitality, and the deal of a lifetime. My wife and our dog George LOVED Heather's place so much, we decided to return on the way back. Please come and explore the natural attractions south and Cleveland just a few minutes away from the comfort and creative coolness of Heather's place. Easy parking, comfortable amenities, and MUFFINS. It's too good!!

Gary's place was a hidden gem! It was conveniently located in downtown right next to this great family owned coffee shop (I highly recommend the cinnamon latte!). I would definitely stay here again, such a cute community.

Adorable and unique dog-friendly space in an excellent location! We came in with our two dogs to visit family shortly before Christmas. We are so happy we found this location! The townhome is super clean, the linens are new and very soft, the beds are firm and comfortable. The kitchen is great: dishes, silverware, pots and pans and a tea kettle and coffee maker are provided. Bonus points for a dishwasher and brand new washer and dryer too! We love the location - right downtown Lorain with a great coffee shop / lunch cafe right in the same building! Parking is super easy right behind the location. Felt very safe and secure walking the dogs throughout the day and in evenings / night time. We really loved the configuration of the townhome community. Each townhome has a uniquely designed facade, showcasing the personality of each owner. Every townhome has a little outdoor patio space and is decorated with potted plants, outdoor lanterns, patio decor, etc. All very cute! Each townhome unit faces onto a central courtyard which is actually indoors - with light provided by overhead skylights and decorative lamp posts. It was super cute and we really enjoyed the outdoor feel, while benefiting from being indoors still! December in northern Ohio is a bit chilly after all! There are some parakeets and cockatiels in cute cages at the far end of the courtyard - their singing was so pretty and refreshing. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting the area. We are two adults with two small dogs, but this location would comfortably fit more people without being too crowded. Great location and super adorable space! Can’t wait to come back again soon!!
