A wonderful house in a beautiful location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in this area. The trail through the neighborhood is perfect for morning and evening walks and shopping and restaurants are within a 10 minute drive. The rooms are spacious and come well equipped - no need to pack shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash or towels. The hosts, Rashid and Sam were so sweet, extremely easy to communicate with and made sure I had everything I needed. I traveled during my stay and they gladly took me to the airport, it was such a relief not to have to fuss over a cab/Uber. So thankful to have had such kind hosts, my stay here was truly incredible. Thank you!

Lauren and her husband were very hospitable to my friend, whom I arranged the room for while I didn't have the space for her at my own home. Lauren is very quick to respond and eager to make your stay comfortable. She offered us dinner and board games, though we chose to have our own meals out of the house. The room was cute and quiet and clean. I will definitely recommend her to friends!

We stayed at Lauren's place after having our car break down in Hoffman Estates. She was so kind to come pick us up, take us to get food, and welcome us (with our pet corn snakes!) into her home to play board games. The room was comfortable, and Lauren made sure we had everything we needed. She was truly our saving grace!

it was a great stay! I brought my friend's family of 3 with me. they set up an airbed for us in the living room to accommodate all. they are flexible. even though they had kids, we were granted access to the house so we can get in and out at anytime. room has everything you need.

Absolutely lovely place. Came here with my wife to stay for a week for her training in the nearby area, while I worked remotely. This was our first AirBnB stay, and it had set a high bar that will be difficult to beat. Everything so cozy, so well-though. Small lights in the dark places. All sorts of snacks in the room, let alone individual fridge and microwave and Keurig coffee machine with a large selection. And a full private bathroom, oooh, that was a bliss. Kids asking if we need anything, wow, so heartwarming. Responses to all our needs were within minutes. Lauren even provided me with a computer desk, monitor and keyboard for the whole time. The neighborhood has a small park in a walking distance, so we went there first evening, it looked so tidy and well-maintained, same as all houses in the area. In general, it was a very pleasant experience overall. Will be more than happy to stay again if need arises. Thank you Lauren for creating this jewel and making it available for us!

Lauren makes you really feel at home and the room has a fridge and treats and water and tea and coffee. They made me feel at home and part of the family. Very helpful and caring above and beyond. Perfect for my Buffalo Grove stay .We even played s card game And I got to watch a film with her kids. Will definitely return

Lauren and Matt were amazing and the room was great. We were actually road-tripping to Chicago and Lauren communicated with us every step of the way. The room was extremely comfortable and the coffee selection was one of the best I've ever seen. The private bath was also such an amazing convenience as we got into town at a late hour. I will stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone. Don't forget to play games with the family!

I stayed at Pasha's and Olga's home for 3 months. I am a student and being away from home is hard, however, throughout my stay here I felt I was at home the whole time. The house is very spacious, clean and is located in a quiet area close to stores and restaurants! As a student, I was able to study in the quiet, office room that has a very nice desk. I really enjoyed my stay here, Pasha and Olga were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. If you are dropping by this area for a couple of nights or months, this is the place to stay I highly recommend it!

Jim's place is awesome! Perfect location.. excellent setting right on Lake Echo. The neighborhood is quiet which is great cause we were traveling with dogs.. and was perfect for morning and evening walks. I also worked from the house while we were there and was concerned about the internet.. I can tell you the internet was HIGH speed.. so if that may be a concern for someone.. no need to worry. We had beautiful sunsets that we enjoyed off his huge deck area.. A dock that our dogs loved to watch the ducks from. The house is equipped with everything you would need...and yard is fenced so you need not worry about the pups getting out. I am afraid with all the great reveiews.... Jim is going to be booked all the time now. But we would definitely recommend to anyone! And we will be back again for sure.... Jim is available very easily if you need anything during your stay. Highly recommend .. 10 stars for sure.. The Duffs

We are reverse snowbirds, fleeing the heat of Florida for the summer. We had a great stay. Jim was always responsive to our needs. He is one of the friendliest people we've ever known and has become a friend. The house is just perfect for us . The size, location, and views are wonderful. Great for long walks around the lake. Sit on the deck and enjoy glass of wine watching the beautiful (URL HIDDEN) is a great value for an extended stay and like it so much that we have already booked a longer stay for next summer. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to future visits .

Jim was very responsive, gracious, and helpful, and made us feel at home. The house was just as described, a good comfortable house close to a lake - a good home base during our week-long stay. We had a great time. We would recommend Jims home too everybody.

Jim was very helpful throughout the renting of his property. The facility was just as described and the location is very, very nice. The lake and the huge oak trees provide a vacation like setting. Overall - very satisfied with the entire experience.

A wonderful clean, warm and welcoming place with lots of character. Jim is a great host, communicated well before our trip, was there to welcome us when we arrived. The location was great right on the lake, if only he could have changed the weather for a couple of the days. Probably the only thing that would have made our trip even better.

This is our second summer with Jim. The house and location are spectacular. It is the best value on airbnb by far. We are reverse snowbirds from Florida and spend our summers here. We hope to spend many more with our perfect host and friend. You will not find a better place to stay or a better host.

Place is great as advertised. You are separated from the house in your own section which is cool if you just want to do your thing you will never see anyone. They give you a phone number so if you have any problems you can let them know. Only nitpicks is the room couldn't get very cold and the shower wasn't very hot but overall great stay.

Clean, well-furnished room, comfortable queen-size bed, modern private bathroom. The common room for the guests features a microwave, small refrigerator, water cooler, dining table, sofa, and TV for Chrome-casting. I loved walking on the trails around the subdivision every day. Great deal!

Rashid and Sammy's place is spectacular - loved the private entrance and beautiful room and surroundings. Extremely elegant and high end, their home is simply marvelous. You can't go wrong with a stay here!

Beautiful home and area. Much more comfortable than a hotel, but just as private as your own hotel room. Private entrance through garage, and your own little area with your own steps to your private room. Great weekend, could not have had a better first experience with this airbnb.

This location was wonderful, the neighborhood was quiet and safe and the place was clean and spacious. Jim was friendly, welcoming, and accomidating. He made sure to check in on us but also gave us our space. The place appears to have been recently remodeled with newer fixtures in the bathroom and the bed was rediculously comfortable. The music shop downstairs is also amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Jim was very kind and communicative throughout my whole stay. I don't generally need much during my stays, but he was always a text or call away if I did have any questions. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed and more. Lots of drawer and closet space for clothing. I didn't have much extra time to hang out at Jim's place, but he has an extra common area stocked with movies and music and a great deck to lounge on in nice weather. Located in the middle of the downtown area of Lake Zurich, there's plenty of food options right across the street, as well as other businesses with just about anything you might need. I was able to park my vehicle on site for free and everything is safe and peaceful with a real small town feel. I highly recommend Jim's Airbnb and will book him again if I'm back in the area.

This is a very beautiful place you can stay for relaxed and quiet accommodations. From the pondview to the lush accommodations Deborah provides everything you might need. She helped us with the train schedule for a day in the city and was very pleasant and kind. You could not find a nicer place to stay in the Chicago area. We will definitely go back.

We found our stay at Deborah's beautiful place outside of Chicago to be fantastic. We would highly recommend it. From the private pond, to the most comfortable living area as well as bedrooms we're just all superb. Not to mention your own private patio with a view of the lake and the gazebo. Wow...we had a WONDERFUL stay! The home a setting is peaceful and beautiful. Debbie takes the extra step to be sure everything is more than expected. We took the train to the city - the ride gave us time to plan what we were going to do once we got there. We are a family of 4 and were very comfortable at the home. My 15 year old daughter can't wait to go back!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Deborah is a gracious host but also unintrusive. The attached rental is extremely well appointed. She had a varity of breakfast foods stocked and the bathroom also included everything you you would need (much more expansive than any hotel I have stayed at). A fantastic view of the lake in the rear of the house. A great place to stay, I reluctantly give it my highest recommendation as anticipate staying there many more times and would prefere it to be open.

Super Host is not a high enough rating for Deborah. We have used Airbnb quite a bit and this was a very special stay; a perfect location for our needs in a beautiful setting. The space worked out really well or a family with children. Deborah worked out every need and some extra.

If you are going to be in the Deerfield, Highland Park, Northbrook, Bannockburn areas, please check the availability of Mike's apartment just off the 294 and Deerfield Road. He's a great host and has a lovely place.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was very happily surprised at the place. Michael did a great job of hosting and making it serene. The pool was fantastic, so was the gym, so was golf. It's a great location for my business trip and they were fantastic restaurants and neighborhoods nearby. Michael give me the space when I needed it and helped when I asked for it. Highly recommended

Ed is a phenomenal host. Very generous, flexible, and kind. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have a nice visit. The refrigerator was overstocked with food. My sons could have had two meals if not three with all the food he left. He is very easy to get along with. I hate to leave this review as I worry everyone will grab this house. But it is a review that is well deserved.

My wife and I have just finished a 10 day stay at Ed's property the "Music Lounge." It is truly a special and historic property that Ed has turned into a 5 star home. Combine that with Ed's attention to every detail and the result is a memorable stay. We would give it the highest of recommendations.

We arrived at the house at 10:30 pm. Ed met us at the door, walked us through the house and gave us a thorough intro. The Music Studio is beautiful with all described amenities. The beds are super comfortable. The decor is very elegant through out the house. We enjoyed our time there and wish we could stay longer. Ed is a gracious host, he stocked the refrigerator with breakfast food for us before we arrived. The welcome chocolate is a real treat.

This home is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice! It was pristinely kept. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children ages 6 & 2.5). The first AM, there were 3 young bucks playing in the front yard for an hour while we watched them from the back deck. Ed was a great host and asked us our preferences for food and stocked the refrigerator. The home added to our son's amazing wedding experience. DO NOT hesitate to book with them!

We stayed here for a week while visiting Chicago. Lovely house! You can feel the history of the house right when you walk in. While the place had been renovated it still has its historic charms. Ed and his wife were lovely, showed us how to work the music and lights for the house as well as gave us the real history behind the house (showed us that it used to be a speakeasy in the basement!). They also left us peanut butter, ice cream, and local beers in the fridge which we have never experienced. Everything in the house is high tech, Phillips hue, Spotify, remote control blinds, etc. Very easy to navigate and work. The place is very private and peaceful. Beds are comfortable and clean. Location is right next to the train station for an easy way to get into Chicago and right by Lou Malnatis! Overall it was a 5 star stay, from the hospitality to the location and ambiance. One of the best Air BnBs we have stayed at and hopefully we will be back soon!

Our family booked this home for our son's graduation from Lake Forest College. The property is stunning, the home has such a unique history and Ed and his wife went above and beyond in every way. Our flight got in late and they met us to show us around the home and explain the sound system and some history of the property. They made sure we had some items in the refrigerator for morning and the home lacked for nothing. The best host you could ask for and we will for sure be back! Ed's AirBnB is the place to go when you want to have your privacy, be close to nature but also next to tollway to Chicago. The house offers all you will need and even more. It is very clean, has fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The owner is very nice and ready to assist you with any request you may have.

Didn't want to be stuck in a hotel over a holiday weekend when traveling to the area for a youth sporting event. So we found the "music lounge" that was originally part of the Albert Lasker estate which was designed by David Adler back in 1930. It has now been saved and renovated by the current owner who has turned it into a wonderful home. Very comfortable and full of character that the local Hilton Garden Inn will never have! The owner, Ed, was great to communicate with and he had the place stocked with everything we needed for our three days. Would definitely stay here again.
