We loved our short stay at the Abarolodge. It was cozy and inviting and we absolutely fell in love with it! The reason why we spent a night there is because we're interested in what Waldcube/EcoLodge is doing and we wanted to try it out first hand. Our stay convinced us of it and we hope one day we'll be able to live in a (slightly) bigger eco-house like this one! Also, the coffee and tea were a nice touch, thank you!

Wow! This Airbnb is the most phenomenal and unique experience we've ever had, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!!! The concept of this place and the thought that has gone into it is extraordinary to witness, with fantastic details and touches that make one's stay here truly unique are wonderful. Also, the room is completely spotless - much better cleaned than any hotel we have ever stayed at before, and also allows for temperature control and a nice quite space. We are so grateful to have spent one night here, and would have appreciated more time to thoroughly explore. Highly recommended!!!

A unique place. Something interesting to see and do at ever turn. Jean-Pol has re-written the rules of overnight holiday accommodation. At last someone willing to create a new experience rather more of the same. I take my hat off to Jean-Pol as we say in English. He deserves every success. Great value too.

With seven friends we have spent a weekend in this beautiful house. Very neat and everything was present! The bbq and the fire pit made the weekend complete. John is very flexible and was allowed to check out later to enjoy the beautiful view. Highly recommended, top!

Monique is very attentive. She does everything to make you feel at home. The bed is very comfortable. I spent a long weekend at his house. I recommend to all lovers of cycling and walking because this a beautiful region to discover is a plus there are Ravels not far.

Personal note - besides the warm and friendly welcome of both the owner and his son, I appreciated that to get out my dog, I have only a few meters to do to be in the wilderness - so far - stores are also available nearby! Particularity, it was not a pleasure trip but to work, so I can not talk about tourism nearby.

The bed is comfortable. I had a nice short stay. It's rustic, but there are all the necessary amenities.

Great stay in the old railway hut! Very cozy space that is furnished to perfection. The room heats up fairly quickly with the pellet stove, and with the extra blankets we slept cozy and warm on the mezannin. Jo was very welcoming and it is nice cycling in the area. We will definitely be back.

It is a really small house, very cozy, the bathroom is in the neighboring house, which makes it a little awkward at night. But still very nice and the hosts are very friendly!

We highly recommend this airbnb. Katrien & Toon are about the loveliest couple you'll ever meet. Their home is beautiful, and the guest bedroom is a good size. The house is at the end of a short street, right next to a park, and we almost got the feeling that we were in the countryside. Zoutleeuw is a charming place, and Katrien and Toon recommended a good place to eat, a 2 minute walk from their house. This couple made an extra special effort to make us feel welcome, and we really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere in the house. Beautiful place.

Jozef is a very good host, always reachable, always gave an answer to our questions, When we got there, the child dining chair was ready for us, he even gave a child seat for the bicycle, we are grateful for that. The house is 5 minutes away from the city center, suitable for long stays. We stayed there for a month and everything was perfect. Couch and under of it could have been a little cleaner. I have to mention that, the check-out was a little bit strange. He even checked the stove, taps and automatic shutters. What could we have done to them, I don't know yet. But he is a nice guy. I definitely recommend this place.

Great town house right near the centre of Hasselt. Jozef was there to greet me on check-in and show me around the house which was lovely, modern and super clean. It is a beautiful place to stay. It is middle of nowhere but that is what we exactly need!

We stayed in February and it was the first winter week of this winter. It will be wonderfully warm during the stay. You can sit very well on chairs or couch with a book in a corner. The double bed sleeps well. The bath with jacuzzi set-up is heavenly. So bring some bath oil. The DVD player did not work so well, but it is made, so bring your favorite movies. Maybe a Google home also works. Also bring some coffee cups and sugar! There is a CD player, so you can play your own CDs. The kitchen is complete, with all the trimmings. Jo and Hilde are very hospitable. If the weather is good, you can use the free bicycles from the station onto the cycle path. In short, a very luxurious and pleasant stay. It can very well accommodate 4 adults or a family with children. Really recommended!

Jo and Hilde have beautifully refurbished Racour station. They have different stays that are all of high quality. Sleep in the station, in a hiker's cabin or in a train. There is also a large field where children can have a great time. There are also bicycles that you can use. The apartment (in the station) was nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Highly recommended.

Nice, immaculate room. Perfect for a night out when you have to be around somewhere.

We particularly enjoyed our stay at De Vierslag. After a bike ride in the immediate vicinity, we ate delicious salmon and asparagus and we also enjoyed breakfast very much.

This place is amazing! The surrounding area is beautiful, perfectly maintained and idyllic and by staying on the train it was like a dream! Every little detail has been thought of and the book in which the construction time is shown is even more astonishing. Jo & Hilde really created a piece of gold with it and we are happy to have found it here. We will never forget this short vacation! Everything was perfect, the beds comfortable, the accommodation perfectly clean, the reception very nice and how beautiful it was on the train I can not emphasize more :) The additional service with the bicycles and the handcart is also very great! You really have the feeling that everything has been thought of and you can feel how much effort has been put into it. We can only recommend it and would love to come back sometime :)

Unique and original location, perfectly in order and completely in the theme!

Great little studio just a short walk from Huy Centre. Max was a great communicator and went completely out of his way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. He even drove me to a restaurant and personally introduced me to the owner as it was raining on my arrival and I had no transport. Would definitely stay again.

Maxime’s apartment is a great place to explore Huy and other towns such as Dinant and Namur. There is a large public car park right outside the apartment which was really convenient for us. The apartment itself is modern and has everything you’d need for a long or short stay. Maxime was a great host and communication was excellent. Furthermore, we forgot our tablet in the apartment and Maxime messaged us that morning and we arranged a time for us to collect it - a huge relief!

We loved our stay at Laure-Anne's! The countryside was much prettier than we expected, and the house is beautiful, especially the garden/gravel patio out front. The weather was gorgeous, so we got to eat outside with spring sounds and smells around us. Wild birds, hens and a rooster, tiny puppies to hold -- what an idyllic time of year to visit! Laure-Anne was warm and welcoming, and her daughter helped us feel at home when we arrived. The couple who share the kitchen/dining area with Airbnb guests were also wonderful and hospitable. We loved our time with them, and were so glad we happened to be there when they were. This was a must-come-back sort of place.

This house is a small holding with a few animals, such as Goats, Donkeys, Chickens etc and is set in a quiet village. Laure-Anne was a lovely host. Even though we did not speak French and she didn’t speak English, we still was made very welcome. The bedroom is sweet and comfortable. The sitting room and kitchen are nice and roomy. Very nice bedroom - bathroom in a very nice house away from the road but close to the center. The view is clear and you can easily imagine the aperitifs on summer evenings on the terrace. A warm and spacious kitchen-dining room-living room shared with other tenants allows you to eat what you want, read and play many board games. Laure-Anne, in addition to her talents as a caretaker, is a very warm hostess and concerned about the well-being of her guests. Enjoy

Wonderful place !

If you want a warm welcome, calm and beauty, healthy food, a hilly nature and green to walk, go to Laure-Anne. The house is off the road, in the countryside, but not far from everything. Given the stairs to climb in the room and in the bed, choose this place if you have good legs. For me it was perfect.
