We fell in love with the cabin Key Deer Refuge. The pictures, amenities, descriptions, directions and local suggestions were spot on, with no surprises. This is a lush, secluded cabin perfect for both relaxation and launching pad for adventures in the Keys. The Captain was extremely helpful and accommodating. This was an amazing experience; the only thing we'd change was booking more days next time! Thanks, Captain.

What a great place! We were greeted by the Admiral, who showed us to our cabin and gave us some great tips for the area. Everything in the room was clean and in order, and just as presented on the website. There were makings for Cuban coffee in the mini fridge, along with some delicious and refreshing "welcome" drinks! A couple Key deer joined the welcome wagon -- one even gave my sweaty leg a little lick! The surroundings were beautiful, relaxing, and secluded. It was really nice to have the complimentary bikes too. We rode around the island, saw a bunch of deer and iguanas (!!!), and had a great lunch at the No Name Pub. (Be sure to try the house amber!) We really enjoyed our stay here -- such a unique lodging! Highly recommended.

AMAZING! Captain Conch's place was definitely the best part of our trip in Florida. The place is insanely clean and quiet, and everything is available for your convenience. The deers are just adorable furry companions who mess with you while you take your shower. The bed is great and we slept well. It is conveniently located, not too far from both Key west and Marathon. The Captain is one of a kind. He has been so nice to us and tried his best to make us feel comfortable and at home. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, and even took us on his boat. I would recommend staying there to anyone, and will probably come back sooner than I thought! The only bummer was the mosquitos which were everywhere as soon as you get out of the cabin, but I guess it depends on the season and is not related to the Captain's place.

Wow!! What a surprise in the Keys. Waking up with the sun, having a visit of deers, the neighbour, taking a shower outside with the moon... this is almost close to the paradise. I should not forget to say that Captain Conch has been a great host. He was waiting for us, make the tour of this charming and provided all informations to go around without missing the famous Cuban Coffee for breakfast... If you are looking for something different, quiet and rustic, this is the place to stay! Wow! Quelle belle surprise aux Keys! Se réveiller avec le soleil, prendre un café en compagnie de chevreuils, se doucher à l'extérieur au clair de lune... c'est presque le paradis. Captain Conch est un excellent hôte. Great location. Such a neat experience with an abundance of wildlife.

This cabin is the perfect spot for outdoorsy folks who want to explore the Keys but come home to quiet, solitude and a shower under the stars. We stayed for five nights, giving us ample opportunity to visit Key West, take a day trip to the Dry Tortugas, explore the beaches at Bahia Honda, walk part of the old Seven Mile Bride, kayak around No Name Key and eat an abundance of great seafood. The leisurely mornings outside the cabin, punctuated by visits from a handful of fearless little Key Deer, were wonderful. Though we were close to amenities, including a grocery store, we felt far away from the real world. We made liberal use of Captain Conch's thorough list of suggestions, from nearby restaurants to attractions, and appreciated his hospitality and his Sunset Cocktails. This was our first trip to the Keys, and we feel so lucky to have found this special place.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful property! We had a really nice stay and loved seeing the plants and animals. Staying here allowed us to experience a very unique side of the Florida keys. The cabin was just as described, and Capt'n also shared some recommendations for things to do in the area off the beaten tourist trail.

We had a nice time at moniques appartment in Key West. The street on the one side was a bit loud, but the bedrooms led to the backside, so we slept really well. The kitchen was equipped perfectly. In the beginning we had a small problem opening the lock box, but after a few minutes we figured it out! We would definitely come back here;-)

Monique's little place was great. It was wonderfully clean and comfortable. Monique was responsive to any questions. It is furnished with IKEA so it has a lot amenities fitted well into a small space. One double in a room and 2 twins in another room, with plenty of closet space for all. The kitchen is fully equipped. The small balcony overlooking a canal and the roof top deck with an outdoor shower was cool. the place is about 7 minutes from Key West so driving is necessary to get into town, the drive is simple. Parking in town was easy but kinda expensive. Overall a great place to stay to visit Key West. Will return. Thx Monique

Great condo with a wonderful patio overlooking a bay. Updated and modern. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was a great value. Although, with the traffic it can take a little bit of time to get to Old Town Key West. It wasn't a huge issue for us but something you will want to be aware of.

We stayed two nights in Louis' apartment in Key west, ca. 10 km from the heart of Key West. Very nice communication and easy in and check. We found and handed a key to the specified localization. The apartment was spacious, clean and very nice. The kitchen delicious and with all equipment. There was a fine view and a nice big roof terrace. Everything was as described and a nice place to stay. We'd love to stay here again and gives the place the best recommendations!

The place is great & Yvonne is very cool. The location is very good, 5 miles from Downtown Key West. The apartment has EVERYTHING, trust me, everything! I plan to come back many times, I recommend.

I never met Louis or had a conversation with him but the unit was extremely nice & clean once inside with plenty of space and a nice modern kitchen. The area was quiet and about 15 minutes to Key West. I would recommend this property for anyone who can climb three flights of stairs and has access to transportation.

We were reluctant to stay the night at a boat at first, but it was suprisingly comfortable. We had a warm welcome from Kevin and Dana when we arrived. The place is very relaxing. Star gazing on the boat, kayak through the sunset...definitely worth it. Thanks Kevin & Dana!

This place was perfect for our 3 night stay in the keys. The boat is exactly as described, clean and cozy and the perfect place to lay your head down at night. The surrounding area is also great, with beautiful views (and plenty of seating to enjoy the views), fish in the area off the dock, and other outdoor lawn games. The restrooms are easy to access. I would definitely recommend staying here, hope to come back again!

Linda and Mike are good managers and on top of things. I stayed in the boat at the place they manage. It was similar to camping, and exactly what I was told to expect. Linda and Mike made sure that everything was ready and that I had all that I needed. Mike was kind enough to take my traveling companion and I out on his sailboat, which was neat. I would recommend staying with them.

What an amazing place!! The property is beautiful, awesome views of the sea with plenty of hammocks and chairs to enjoy the view. The sailboat was really nice inside and has a/c to keep it cool. Having the kayaks and the snorkel equipment was great! Loved waking up and going snorkelling right by the property. Kevin is the best host. Really friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again!

We loved our time with Kevin and Dana! Kevin greeted us warmly, offered us a beer, and showed us around. He even drilled a hole in a coconut so that we could drink out of it! Also, they have a cute and friendly dog that follows the owners around! The yard/dock was the perfect place to relax and read all day--and get a little tan. We were also lucky to be provided snorkel gear--flippers, goggles, snorkels--which let us explore the parrot fish and other tropical fish under the docks and nearby. Kevin had great advice on where to kayak and snorkel. We stayed on the boat and it was just like luxury camping--since we were able to shower, grill, and make coffee in a real coffee maker. It was nice to sit out on the dock at night and listen to the waves while star-gazing. We did find ourselves craving a couch every once in a while but were pleased with the boat. There was plenty of fridge space and the grill worked great. Also, Kevin took us out sailing on our last night to see the iguanas in the trees and the sunset. The sailboat was a perfect base to explore the keys and we really enjoyed the snorkeling, kayaking, and biking! Thank you Kevin and Dana for a wonderful time!

A great place to stay while seeing Key Largo - LOVED LOVED LOVED the water access and snorkeling. Enjoyed the open room, light & airy bathroom and convenient location. We were snorkeling and in the water within 10 minutes of arriving - all the equipment is there to borrow and included in the cost of the room! Rate is very reasonable and overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The host made sure to greet us and make us feel welcome. I recommend the Tree Tops apartment though only if you don't have any knee issues or reserves about with kinda steep-ish stairs. The description and communication were excellent.

Leslie was the most gracious host! The property is wonderful, accommodations were great and the view is phenomenal! We couldn't ask for a better place to get away.

In comparison price and value i have never been in better place. I was in paradise and I have payed ridiculous price. Cozy room in house few miles from Key West everything was clean. We enjoyed breakfast at veranda in backyard. You should try it !

First time using airbnb and I couldn't have had a more easygoing experience. C.C. Was always wuick to reply and the place was great! There were even drinks and snacks for us as well as food. i was down in the keys for work and I felt extremely comfortable leaving my cameras there. Overall an excellent experience and I'll definitely stay here again if I'm ever traveling down to the keys again!

AJ was awesome, he brought us to the boat and explained everything we needed to know. The futon mattress was unexpectedly comfortable. The weather was wonderful and the boat was the coolest accommodation I've ever stayed in. You can tell AJ loves this boat and being a host. We went snorkeling off the ledge with is a five min paddle from Free Spirit and saw nurse sharks and parrot fish along with some crabs and lobster. We also caught a glimpse of a sea turtle! It was the most relaxing Key West trip I've had to date. The night time storms were amazing and I'll never forget the way the wind came through the boat and caressed me to sleep..

Honest opinion as it is. The smell is not very pleasant from the water in the bottom of the boat, very similar to foul the water. When met was much of a favor. Had to go back himself, as the phone no one took. A strong current, and swing arm). Put five stars because I don't want to spoil the reputation. The boat is made only to extract money. The very essence of airbnb where housing rents owner - is not respected, I doubt that in such conditions it is possible to live))). Arrive at it a second time?, I think not. The guy welcoming us liked it, but actions show that smile just isn't enough!!!

The Free Spirit Houseboat experience is a great release for those who enjoy nature. The kayaking is great, access from the marina to the boat was good, about 1/2 mile. A nice floating dock makes access to boat easy. The water is shallow - 3' and easy to see bottom. A fun experience for minimalist, be prepared to deal with all things ocean, ie: marine head in its limitations, no refrigeration, minimal electric (solar/generator)- take headlamps, prepare backpacking style meals unless you are a good fisherman. We saw some really big fish while kayaking. If you want the Key West downtown party scene, suggest you find something on land. AJ is a very gracious and responsive host. We would do this again.

Completely awesome! We were running late and had to haul butt to get to the marina on time, but AJ was super accommodating. He knew the area great and had many good suggestions on things to go see and do. The kayaking was great - lots of places to strip flies from the kayak and we even managed to catch a few little barracuda and snapper off the stern of the Free Spirit. The boat was clean and comfortable. We listened to all the Led Zeppelin and blues CDs under the stars... We will definitely be back!

I loved everything about the free spirit. Unfortunately we had terrible weather for the weekend we booked but that didn't stop us from having a good time. AJ was very accommodating!! I highly recommend this houseboat and look forward to coming back down for better weather!

What a fairytale! I booked the FREE SPIRIT for my honeymoon. Before we even arrived, AJ asked how we were going to get to the JOLLY II ROVER for our sunset wedding aboard the sail boat, I hadn't thought that far. Kayaking in wedding dress wouldn't have been a good idea. SO, AJ- the most wonderful host, came back to the FREE SPIRIT and picked Tony and I up and whisked us away to in his 'water carriage' to the other Key where he delivered us to the dock for our nuptials! What a guy- The sunset cruise was wonderful too! After our wedding he took us back to the FREE SPIRIT- and it was pretty late. AJ knew, since it was our honeymoon, that privacy was what we were looking for and his houseboat was just perfect. We cooked some of the best meals on board too. If camping and beautiful scenery are your thing then this is the place to be. The sunsets and sunrises are amazing. One night we did have a little storm and rain- AJ texted me just to make sure we were ok and that was so considerate. Next time I come back to FREE SPIRIT I want to spend more time exploring in the kayak and take a tour. Keep up the good work!

There are certainly not enough kind words to properly describe the Free Spirit and its host A.J. He greeted us with a huge smile and a wave, as if we hadn't seen each other in a few months, not as if we were strangers. In fact I imagine A.J. has never met a stranger in his life! :) He was unbelievably accommodating, anything we needed, he was there to help. He checked in on us via text which was very nice. He spoiled us by taking us out to some awesome dive sites on our anniversary, it was awesome to not have to get on a charter boat with the rest of the herd! Additionally while out on the ocean we saw 2 pods of dolphins. A.J. suspects they may have been the rare spotted dolphins. He turned the boat off and we just watched them swim and play. Now for the Free Spirit, my husband and I fell in love with it, we didn't want to leave. It has everything you need for a camping experience, and more. The description of the Free Spirit is spot on, so if you come prepared and love the outdoors, this is the adventure for you. The boat is clean and up to date. We were greeted by a dolphin Sunday morning which was awesome. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and appreciated having an actual toilet on board haha. We only used the AC while we slept at night, and by early morning we were both scrambling for the blanket. The sunrises are beautiful but the sunsets are indescribable, just stunning. If you can't have a good time on the Free Spirit then I must argue that there's nothing free about your spirit! We will absolutely be back to enjoy the houseboat and hopefully A.J.'s company again! Thank you A.J.!

The stay with mike was extremely accommodating. He gave us bikes to explore the town and a dinghy ride to the boat at whatever time we liked. The boat itself was awesome, very spacious for 2, easily could have fit 3-4, incredible experience.

It was a really unique experience of staying on a boat. The weather wasn't very good that day but it had great scenery! Mike and Justin are very accommodating. The dinghy ride was definitely a highlight of our trip!

It was the worst experiency in my life to stay in Mike's place. It's a very old boat, far away from the port. NOT WATER, NOT LIGHT and the WC smells horrible. The check in must be in the night (you understand why? so you can't cancel the booking for to find another place). The person capitain Red smells alcool, he left us in the boat about 10:30pm and said to us DON'T MAKE NOISE (i think so is illegal to rent ). I don't understand how Airbnb let rent this place !!!!! IT WAS THE REAL NIGHTMIRE THIS STAY.

Great experience. Mike was very organized and responsive. On time meeting us and helpful. Two bikes for our use was a big plus. The boat is a work in progress, but worked well for our needs.

Mike's boat was a unique experience. it's a funny feeling meeting a guy at midnight in key West, and driving out with him for ten minutes into the darkness. but once you are on the boat, it's an experience you will never forget. we slept outside on deck, which was super confortable! in case of rain however you would have to sleep inside, and you should keep in mind that it's a boat, can be quite warm, a bit smelly, but if you are lucky, it's the best night you will get in key west. the bikes mike provides are a huge bonus, exploring key west by bike is awesome! thanks Mike!

Santiago's wife was beyond friendly, warm, and hospitable as she greeted us into her beautiful home. The rooms were stocked with basics, clean, and aesthetically so pleasing. The best part was Evelissa and how sweet she was - so full of joy and smiles!!! I appreciated every minute of our short stay at their home, which was like a bubble of comfort and rest in the midst of a tiring week. (:

We had a great stay here. We were in the efficiency and the place was very clean and furnished with everything useful to do the cooking. Kevin and Dana are really friendly and make everything to make you feel confortable. They have a paradise garden, very peaceful, with a direct view on the sea, enjoyable hammock, coconut trees. A perfect place to get some rest. We would definetly recommand the place.

We enjoyed every minute! Easy check-in with Kevin's helpful tips for the grounds and places to go while in Islamorada were great. Overall an awesome island getaway with plenty of activities and time for relaxation!

Dana made us feel so welcome and gave us a tour of all the generous offerings of the property. The unit was clean and quiet and private and had everything we needed. I already miss waking up to the view of the tropical foliage and sea! Islamorada was exactly what we were looking for - an authentic Keys experience with lots of nature and not too many tourists. My only regret is not getting to use the (free) bikes to roam around the bike paths and get to the Cuban restaurant nearby. I highly recommend The Best of Both Worlds!

We had a great time! The garden and whole location is unique. The cottage was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The garden has a lot of outdoor furniture and many cosy sunbeds. The sunsets are awesome! We would love to come back soon!

Great place to stay, if you want a really relaxed atmosphere right at the sea. Very friendly and relaxed hosts, you feel right at home. Would stay here again and can only recommend this place!

My boss died and Kevin let us arrive late, which was much appreciated. There is so much to do so we should have stayed an additional night or two but we already made plans in key west. We kayaked around the property and one direction, there are a bunch of mangroves and the other direction are some inlets. Baby nurse sharks, baby iguanas, and probably a bonnethead shark were all seen from the kayaks. Snorkeling around the dock and surrounding docks is also great - parrotfish, angelfish, sargent majors, barracudas, and some other reef-type fish could be seen. Rode bikes in the evening along the bike trail and saw some more wildlife (crabs, some curly tailed lizards, and some kind of keys pigeon that looks better than our pigeons). You can catch sunsets on this property. We thought the room was comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed to make a meal.

It was just beautiful. The boat is nice and clean, the view breathtaking and the beach very private and clean. We had the whole Key Largo vibe. We will comeback sometime. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful visit to the Lil' Bamboo houseboat. The location on the water is perfect and the roof top deck makes for an ideal location to relax and also to watch the sunset. The houseboat sits in a small marina full of other houseboats so there is a community feel to the location. The amenities nearby (beach chairs, hammocks, grill, etc) add to the location's charm and access to bikes, kayaks and paddleboards provide free entertainment as well. The pictures are a great representation of what the houseboat is like; basic accommodations but a unique and very fun experience. The waves lapping up against the boat at night are a little louder than I anticipated, but if you run the AC and wear ear plugs it drowns out most of the nice. Since its a houseboat the interior can sometimes feel small (with 3 people in it) but the fabulous roof area really extends your space and makes it feel much larger. We took most of our meals on the roof deck and when the wind was calm we were even able to play cards upstairs too. Lastly, Abby is a great host. She was attentive throughout the whole reservation process and she lives on the site so she's able to address immediate concerns if they arrive. Additionally she was able to recommend local activities (such as places to kayak and fishing tour groups) that contributed to our excellent visit. I'd highly recommend Lil' Bamboo as a unique way to experience Key Largo.

Abby was a wonderful host! She made sure we were well taken care of. Little Bamboo was a treat, cozy and very comfortable! We look forward to visiting Little Bamboo, Abby and Murphy again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay on the houseboat! Very cute and cozy, amazing view of the ocean, tranquil, great little beach. The bathroom is very close -- the shower in the bathhouse is not the greatest, but that's out of Abigail's control, and everything else made up for it! (Just prepare yourself :)!) Abigail was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at this vacation spot. Staying on a boat for a week was a first for both of us. Since our visit to Dream Bay, we have decided to make boat living a permanent thing in the future. Thanks to all of the great people around the marina, we felt welcomed and relaxed. Our favorite eatery was Mrs. Mac's just down the road. The food was awesome and the staff was better. If your stomach can take it, go on a four hour fishing excursion with the Fisherman's Choice crew. All in all, one of the best vacations we've ever had.

. The boat is comfortable and seaworthy. It is built and decorated from a myriad of pieces from other boats and marine paraphernalia. I.e. Propellers as candle holders, table from a swim platform, doors from RVs, deck from old docks. The houseboat is authentic Keys. Reminiscent of the days when the Keys' main economy was salvaging wrecks and reusing parts. The access was through a marina/boat salvage yard. It was a little unnerving driving past the "private" "no trespassing signs" - complete with skeletons of dead animals. I felt safe there because I didn't think anyone else would dare venture there. You may need waders instead of water shoes to access the dock in rainy weather. It is definitely an authentic and unique way to experience the FL Keys! Our rustic camping and boating experience helped us to make it into an adventure.

Wow!!! This is such a great time. If you would like a Unique experience in the Keys this is it!!! The Houseboat is very comfortable...We used the Kayacks he provides to check out the area...sunsets amazing!!! Mike is FANTASTIC!!! Whatever you need he is there to help!!! We will be back n the boat soon!!!

Mike was a great host. He was very accommodating to our schedule, and spent a good amount of time reviewing all of the features of the boat and how to use them. The boat and its surroundings were pretty much exactly as expected based on Mike's description. Everything was clean and tidy, there were coolers to keep food/drinks cold, and plenty of linens. The toilet was tricky to get used to, but not really that bad, especially since we spent most of the daytime on shore anyway. Yes, it was rustic, like camping on the water, but it was totally worth it! The location was beautiful! We watched thunderstorms, sunrise, and sunsets each day from the roof of the boat, where Mike has a few lounge chairs. The water was clear and the perfect temperature for a swim. Being July, it was pretty hot on the boat during the day, so we pretty much did a lot of sightseeing then, and enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the boat. There are plenty of things to do within a 30 minute ride of the boat's location. The only trouble we had was with a strong thunderstorm one day. It was severe enough to rip one of the chairs (tied to a post on the deck) right off, and we never saw it again. Also, some of the windows didn't seem to close, so the inside of the boat got a bit wet, including some of our luggage. However, everything was dry by morning, and Mike came out the next day to replace the chair and repair the post. This definitely isn't a vacation for someone looking for luxury, but is great if you aren't afraid of roughing it a bit. It was great to get away and not be in a crowded hotel. Here we had peace and quiet, with a 360 degree view, and fish swimming all around. Great way to experience the Keys!

We can't begin to describe how perfect our stay was! The houseboat is the most peaceful place to stay and has so much to offer both inside and around. Middle of the ocean, gentle breeze and 5 minutes to beaches, restaurants, shopping... Your own dinghy to shuttle. Mike was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival and settling us in, checking back the next day if we were doing good (we were!!!) If there is only one place you can go in Florida-come here! Kids loved it too.

Mike's house boat is the definition of paradise. Be ready for a few quirky bits but this was amazing for our bachelorette party. A 30-45 minute drive to Key West at night and days filled with swimming, kayaking, and tanning! We will be back

Those were magical days on the houseboat. Mike is a wonderful host and with any questions always immediately on the spot. We have the daily swim enjoyed on the boat with, kayaking, sunbathing and just laze on the sundeck. Our trips to Key West (about 30 minutes drive) and in the State Park Curry had succeeded. The boat is fully in the information provided and is wonderfully cozy. Even the really getting used to toilet has convinced us. If you do not just arrive with a lot of luggage, it has enough space and you can stay very comfortable. We cooked every night and then have our menu enjoyed on the rear deck during the sunset. It was just super nice!

Mike was an amazing host. Explained everything you had to know about this boat and the surroundings. Boat was equiped with all the goodies you had to have to have a good time. Will definitely try to come back next year.

No surprises. The boat is in a very calm and quiet little bay. We had a great time exploring the area by kayak and hanging out on the roof of the boat. Wish we could have stayed a full week!

It's like a clean newer large suite at a hotel except with better mattresses and an excellent bathroom with a big walk in shower in a larger nicely tiled bathroom my wife absolutely loved. It's in a 5 bedroom house on the upper floor. When we were there, there were quite a few people in the house but everyone was very courteous and quiet. I was wondering what that would be like and found it worked out well, like a big polite family. Once you get so many good reviews like Luis does, here you can be assured the choice is a good one and that is exactly what it was for us. Louis WILL take very good care of you, he is well organized, thoughtful and genuinely enjoys his encounter with you. Super great value we had while exploring the keys. They even made a scrambled eggs breakfast with bacon toast and OJ for us for $5 each.

Quality and friendliness are all great!! We appreciated the friendliness of Luis, Alicia and Alicia's parents who live in the same house. They were great hosts. Luis gave us excellent suggestions for the dinner. Our children (6 and 8) loved their two small dogs Blacky and Chanel. For breakfast the family prepared a breakfast which was three times different and delicious. The 4-bed-room is much bigger than on the picture indicated. It is a great room for families. Big bathroom attached to it. At least for European standards! We highly recommend the place.

Despite some previous comments the breakfast is not included in the price of the room but Luis has suggested to prepare a coffee for free or a breakfast for 5$ each person. Luis was doing his best for our stay. I will recommend.

if you wanna stay at this place there is actually no reason not to stay. The house is very clean, it's actually like on the pictures. Alicia and Luis are so friendly and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions or problems, we had many questions :), they try to help you. The breakfast is delicious, even if you have any allergies against food Alicia and Luis try to find something for you. So it is like a little hotel :). it is worth staying more than one night, we were there for one week, and it is perfect to explore south Florida. If you try to find something better, you won't. If you are looking for a nice cosy and private place to stay in KeyWest. This is the place I would recommend. They have aptly named their listing. We cannot describe in words the feeling of waking up to the most beautiful sunrise ever and sleeping at night with the sound of calm waters. I had gone to key west as part of my week long anniversary celebration trip with my husband. We were looking at something reasonable and convenient place to stay. Not very far from the hub of activity and not even in the middle of it. Their houseboat was so well kept and well furnished that we could have easily stayed there for a week if not for our next few days pre-planned trip. We almost considered extending our trip by a day if we really could and I have another reason to be eternally thankful to Brian for. I almost lost of my wedding ring on the boat and had given up any hopes of finding it. But Brian was all set to tear the boat apart to help me find my ring. He came in the middle of his work day to help me find it as soon as he got my message. Like I said, I can't thank him enough and thankfully we didn't have to pull this beautiful boat apart either. I regret not meeting Brooke. But hopefully we will get a chance to stay in this beautiful place again. I can't recommend their listing enough to people looking to spend some quiet time and at the same time enjoy the Key West nightlife in this beautiful place.

The host made it very easy to check-in. Brian wasn't available, but he had a friend meet us at a nearby CVS so we could follow her to the marina. The boat was honestly much larger than I expected and comfortably fit me and my three sisters. Major pros: Great AC, very cute decorations, warm water with good water pressure! The only negative is that the neighborhood right outside the marina is a trailer park. I never felt unsafe, but one of our taxi driver did say it was a shady area, which made one of my sisters nervous. Again, this is outside the marina, and I never felt like we were in a dangerous area, but some people may be uncomfortable about it.

Brian made us feel welcome on his houseboat. I would absolutely stay again as it was an interesting departure from your standard hotel. Spending the evenings on the roof deck with a drink in hand watching the water and feeding the fish was a lot of fun. On our second morning we saw manatees from the roof that came right up to the boat. A couple things to keep in mind: there are no side railings on the boat so keep that in mind if you have small children. My 6 foot tall boyfriend had to duck a little in the shower so if you're extra tall you're probably going to have an issue. Lovely experience overall! Thanks!

Staying on Brian's house boat was part of our perfect little vacation. It was in such a quiet neighborhood, we slept so peacefully! What a treat it was to wake up and be surrounded by water. We were welcomed to a clean place with fresh fruit, snacks, and wine. Brian and Brook were so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Key West.

Brian was very flexible with my arrival got delayed with traffic and there was no problem, in fact he checked I with me a few days ahead to make sure I didn't have any questions and I had his contact numbers. He took time to show me around the boat and how everything worked. Once you get on the boat it very quiet and peaceful easy to disconnect from the world or a short trip to downtown Key West. ..

We had never stayed on a houseboat before, so this was an adventure for us. We loved the neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and genuine; they introduced themselves and welcomed us. The absolute best part of our stay was sitting on the deck in the evening and early morning. One day I ventured out there at midday and by lucky chance saw three manatees gliding by right beside the boat. We liked the neighborhood outdoor cat, Tom. The bed was comfortable, and the entire visit was very relaxing. We could easily ride bikes into Key West's Old Town and beaches. If we go back to Key West, we would definitely consider staying here again. If you don't want to be around a lot of tourists but want to be with residents of the area, this is a nice place to stay.

Linda was very forthcoming and good at communication. She reached out to me proactively, and when she came to know that we were a couple, she offered us a different room with private bathroom instead of the shared bathroom one I had registered for. Her place was good, right next to the sea. It was nice, airy and in a safe neighbourhood.

We didn't have the opportunity to meet with our host, but having her family and friend come to check up on us to make sure everything was in order was great. My partner even fixed a couple of things around the house (he does construction). The house was great! We really enjoyed our very first experience with Airbnb and would recommend C.C.'s place to anyone. We used the kayaks and enjoyed the canal and jump-bridge (even though the bugs ate me alive). We were invited to help ourselves and make ourselves at home. Hopefully we didn't make too much of a mess. :)

C.C. wasn't home when we arrived, but she had already texted us in advance so we could find everything easily. The room was comfortable, just a little warm in the first night cause we forgot to set the air conditioning lower. We could use the bathroom, living room and kitchen without any complications. C.C. also offered us to use her kayaks, what was really nice. When she came she was really kind and open and directly tried to help us with all questions. It was just a little weird, that the bathroom has an extra door to the other room, but we didnt have any problems with that. And you really have to pay attention for the dog, cause she tries to sneak out. But she's really cute! All in all, I can really recommend to stay there for some nights if you plan a trip to the keys!!! :)

I slept at the bedroom with two twin beds. It is clean and comfortable. I shared the bathroom with people staying in the next-door bedroom. During my stay, there was no water from the tap in the bathroom. You can find anything you want for cooking in the kitchen. There is a black cat walking around in the house and it is quiet and mild. It is a satisfying experience considering the price.

We stayed in the pool house with our two young kids (1 and 3) and had a wonderful time. We brought a pack and play with us but found that there was already one in the closet. One thing to note, Glen and Natalie are super flexible and relaxed. To give an example, there are no hour restrictions on the pool. This may rub some people the wrong way. One person who signed the guest book complained that this made it a bad location for children since it was difficult for their children to sleep. We had no such problem for three reasons. One, we put the children in the bedroom that didn't have an outside wall facing the pool, two, everyone was very respectful and quiet outside and three, we always bring a white noise machine to put in the kids room. So, would I recommend the pool house for someone with kids? Absolutely, but beware that there is a remote possibility of other noisy guests using the pool at night and you be right next to it. Also, Glen and Natalie have provided a whole box of ear plugs just in case. The breakfast was phenomenal, we all enjoyed it, but the kids especially couldn't get enough of the fresh fruit. Glen was in the breakfast area each morning and was pleasant company. He is also knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to a great park with beach that was nearby and perfect for a day when the kids didn't want to be in the car too long. As for cleanliness, we found the pool house to be clean, at least when we arrived ;) . There is a nice kitchen area to prepare and serve food. The sheets and towels were all nice and clean.

We stayed in the "pool house," which is inside the lanai, across the pool from the main house. This made it a bit noisy when children were using the pool, but since we were out during the day, this wasn't a problem. The home is very close to the Everglades, making it perfect for our plans. The Pool House is a large, spacious, comfortable apartment. It has a pretty well-equipped kitchen, but an astonishing assortment of delicious food was provided, buffet-style, for breakfast and supper (at a very reasonable additional charge), so we had no need to use it. While you could take that food back to your accommodations, many of us chose to sit together and eat as a group. There were families from France and Belgium, as well as all parts of the US, and conversation was lively and interesting. The property is in the country outside Homestead, and seeing the vast nearby fields of tomatoes, squash, beans and corn was interesting. The hosts are friendly without being intrusive.

Natalie's pool house was great! My family and myself enjoyed everything about our stay. Breakfast every morning was delightful and plentiful. The fruit was fresh and right out of their backyard. The house was conveniently located near the keys and everglades. We would definitely stay at Natalie's pool house again on future trips to Florida.

Natalie and Glen are very good host. Really love the decoration of the house. It's a good choice of group of four. And the breakfast is awesome.

What to say about such a relaxing experience? I'm finally getting to write my review as I had to go right back to work (ugh!) after staying with Natalie. Anyway, my sister and I were visiting the Everglades and had a fantastic time. We stayed in the pool-house, complete with full kitchen, although no one needed that with the master chef, Glen, to provide one's culinary needs! Yummy! The breakfast was a feast; everything organic and flavorful. My sis and I swam in the pool; I got in the whirlpool and just let stress melt away. The bed was so comfortable. Such a great time for only one night. I would recommend to all! Wish I could've stayed longer.

Although our host was out of town when we arrived, but she made almost everything at her place accessible. Very nice tropical place! Thank you for having us!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice and clean, easy access to Key West,friendly neighborhood. Mama Mango nearby was an unexpected treasure for food and entertainment.

The listing was accurate; the pictures were exactly like the accommodations and the location was great. The place was clean and welcoming and the bed we slept on was crazy comfortable!

CC made the check in process very easy. The house provides more than enough space and all necessary amenities: full kitchen, separate bathroom, and a spacious living room and bedroom. The neighborhood is quiet and the house itself is very secure. Each guest room is equipped with its own lock. It is about a 30 minute drive to Key West but there is plenty to do in the immediate area as well. I would advise stocking up on bug spray, especially in the summer.

The house is close to Key West. We had a great experience staying there. C.C was really nice, she left the light on so that we can easily find the key and get in at night.

We had a great stay at the cottage. great snorkeling off house. Lovely and clean yard and house. Loved the choice to use the free bikes and kayaks and snorkeling gear. We will be back for sure!

We loved being right on the water, with boats and fish and snorkeling almost at our front door. The cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed to cook our simple meals. Kevin was right there to answer all our questions and to make sure everything was in order. We enjoyed hearing of Kevin's experiences in animal training. We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic time at Best of Both Worlds. The view was even more beautiful than advertised, and the cottage was just what we needed. Having kayaks and snorkel gear available for free was an added bonus. Our hosts, Kevin and Dana, were wonderful - always asking if we needed anything and giving us advice on area restaurants. Lots to do in the area! What a fabulous trip! We'll be back!

Absolutely perfect place. Although we could only stay a few days we're already looking forward to a longer stay with the rest of the family. The atmosphere was everything we've come to love about the keys. We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for my wife and I and our 3 month old. (Kingston was a big fan of the stars hanging over the bed) Swimming in the bay was perfect, there were tons of fish to see and a stingray came to visit at one point. Of all the places we've stayed all over the keys, this is definitely our new favorite. Matt and Monica

This felt like "old Florida," simple, quiet and authentic. We loved being right next to the water. We enjoyed playing lawn games with other guests -- especially getting a lesson in petanque/boules from a French man. Kevin was kind and friendly as were the other staff. We would certainly stay here again.

David made us feel very welcome. He met us at the boat, showed us around, got our coffee ready for brewing in the morning, and took us for a nice ride on his smaller boat! His boat is comfortable, roomy, and in a great location at a marina with a nice outdoor restaurant and bar, kayak rental, and beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely recommend David's yacht in Key Largo!

David's was a wonderful host. He greeted us warmly and waited for us even though our flight was delayed, then her accompanied us to a local gem spot for dinner. Southern hospitality at its finest! The boat was very comfortable and our kids loved it. He came by the next morning with coffee and offered a boat tour across the water for the kids - again a huge hit. We had a great stay on the boat. It's a beautiful setting to watch the sunset, and the nearby bars are good fun with great live music. The boat is very comfortable and has everything you need onboard. We would happily stay again. David is a very welcoming guy and very easy to deal with. He was also able to help us with irganising a great snorkling trip. Overall, we would definitely recommend the boat as a great place to stay.

David took us a warm welcome in reception and was always reachable by phone. The description of his houseboat is consistent with his information. The boat is moored, immediately adjacent to a restaurant where there at the weekend pretty loud (live music) can be (but we did not bother). If you want to stay in a boat must be aware of the cramped bathroom situation clear. We enjoyed our stay in Key Largo much!

Staying on Davids Yacht was really awesome, he is a very cool guy and was very accommodating. Everything was very easy to use, we had access to a charcoal and gas grill, and a small boat with trolling motor to navigate around the bay, fishing poles, and even a crab trap. Brandon at the boat rental was really cool as well, and gave us tips for fishing, and brought a couple fish he caught. The spot has excellent privacy, and I would highly recommend this!
