  • Chris and Sally's place was cozy and charming. The kitchen had everything we needed, it was warm despite the cold weather, and it was nice to horses on the property. The location was a great base for hiking around the finger lakes. Highly recommended!

  • Incredibly beautiful space in an incredibly beautiful area! I would highly recommend this place, The hosts are fantastic!

  • Everything was great! The place was adorable. Chris and Sally made everything so easy for check in and check out, along with a whole binder of directions and recommendations!

  • This loft was perfect for my husband and I's weekend trip to NY for a wedding. We enjoyed the tranquility and privacy of Chris and Sally's place. The view from the deck cannot be beat and the space itself is perfect for 2 people. I was obsessed with the mattress- it was amazing! I really appreciated the way that Chris and Sally were quick to reply to messages, but did not intrude on our stay in the slightest. They were available if we needed them, but respected our privacy. I cannot recommend staying in their loft enough. It was wonderful.

    Brandi2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Sally's place was clean, affordable, and just as the listing says: picturesque. The property on the farm is lovely, and we really enjoyed getting to wander around the farm, watch the animals from the loft, and explore the area. They're not joking when they say there are farm sights and sounds - the space is the loft of the barn where the horses and chickens live. However, there was no smell in the space itself, and ear plugs were provided in case the rooster was too loud in the early mornings. (We did end up using them). Check-in and check-out were both easy and quick, and Chris and Sally were very quick to respond and always willing to offer suggestions on what to do around the area. The water smelled and tasted like well water. Not a big deal for us, but if you're used to city water, you may want to bring your own. Additionally, the toilet is a composting toilet, so there are a few odd and extra steps to using the bathroom. My husband and I didn't mind at all, it was easy and unobtrusive, but it may turn some people off. Otherwise, the loft was furnished nicely, the king bed was soft and comfy and the view was beautiful. One other thing, we did find it was a bit out of the way of most things to do - definitely in the country. It was at least 15 minutes to anywhere, and much longer to the bigger Finger Lakes. But it's walking distance to Canadice Lake, which was stunning and worth the trip through the woods. We highly recommend staying with Chris and Sally if you're looking for a relaxing place to stay on your trip to the Finger Lakes. We had a great time!

  • This cute loft is just as pictured, situated on the top floor of the host’s horse barn, It has a lovely view of their yard/horse pasture. The king size bed was really comfortable dressed with high quality sheets and accompanied by essential oil pillow spray! The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, pots & pans that one would need for a few days or more. The bathroom was spacious and had a composting toilet (google it), that may not be to everyone’s liking, but my husband and I didn’t have an issue with it, especially since we did not have to maintain it! The essential oil diffuser was a welcome addition. The loft is located within 20 minutes of anything you want to visit in the area and only 5 minutes to the beautiful Canadice lake where we kayaked. Chris and Sally were quick to respond to the few questions we had and offered up lots of suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The loft was a very comfortable, nicely appointed space for our 2 night stay.

The neighborhood is made up of countless privately owned cottages along the Honeoye Lake. Honeoye has two traffic lights, a small supermarket, two gas stations, restaurants, super market, a convenience store, boat launches, a public beach & other nearby attractions.
The knotty pine bedroom is spacious with an adjoining bathroom. The bedroom is equipped with a convection-oven , microwave oven, electric burner, coffee maker and dormitory size refrigerator. Coffee & supplies as well as pots, pans, dishes & silverware are provided. There is a folding table & chairs inside the cabin as well as a small table & chairs sheltered from the rain at the cabin entrance. There's also a grill, picnic table and portable fire pit. You can expect basic accommodations ... nothing fancy with an opportunity to get away and relax in a back country setting. In front of the cabin is a small pond and perennial gardens. The 75' lake front is approximately 40 yards from the cabin. Also available is a dock and an aluminum hoist for your boat. There is an extra charge of $15.00 ( one time fee) for the use of the hoist.
Other than Karen's house, the neighborhood consists of seasonal cottages. Since her property is very level with the lake and is twice the average water front size, its just so awesome hanging out by the lake. Log Cabin Point is a short, private country road that ends near Karen's property. Its a lovely walk down the road to the trails in the woods where you can feast on wild raspberries or walk along the creek.
  • This is a wonderful little getaway. The opportunity to sit right on the lake and enjoy a fire is beyond exceptional. The little wood cabin is cute and cozy.

  • This is a great little guest house as a jumping off point for adventures in the Finger Lakes region. There is a little hot plate, microwave, etc to make meals in if you want. Lakeside view was beautiful even in early Spring. Karen is a helpful host with anything you need.

  • Great stay with my wife and our dog! Can’t wait to stay here again, but next time in the warm weather.

    Colin2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Karen is welcoming and inviting! She greeted us personally and gave us a tour of the place, as well as a few neat stories. The cabin is a great hide away if you’re looking for a jumping off spot for outdoor adventures, or just a night away.

    Jill2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was spectacular!! I have three large dogs and while they are well trained and loving they are difficult to travel with as many places have restrictions or fees I cant meet. Karen was welcoming and playing with my furry kids from the moment we met. She even had us over one night and she has a big bin of dog toys!! My dogs absolutely loved that. The cabin was perfect, cozy and exactly what I was hoping for. Great location and I cant say enough about the peace and beauty out on the lake. You can cook there but we just ordered in as hiking and skijoring was about all we really wanted to do. I will definitely be using this place as a getaway for as long as Karen will have us. 5 stars. Loved our long weekend at the cabin on the lake ❤🐕

    Casey2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Just the basics for a nice getaway

    Crystal2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karen is most wonderful host I have dealt with using Airbnb. Her log cabin was very comfortable. The location is absolutely beautiful. I would stay here again when visiting the finger lakes area.

    Cynthia2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • “Just enough” space at this cabin on the lake. Awesome rustic overnight couple getaway, and an excellent value! We came to enjoy the town, then enjoyed a campfire and good night’s sleep next to the lake. All the necessities; no frills. Much cozier than a motel ❤️ Karen is lovely.

  • Kelly’s place was perfect and she was so kind. We would definitely stay here again!

    Brittany2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the place so much we returned 3 months later in the winter to experience the place in the middle of winter! We truly enjoy everything there is to offer at the cabin. It’s so fun and the host is so quick to respond when you need something. The animals that are near by the cabin are so friendly! We just love this place and highly recommend!!

    Dani/Kyle2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at Kelly’s place. My husband and I and our two friends were looking for a weekend get away that wasn’t too far from where we live. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! It was so clean I felt like I could walk around barefoot. The hot tub was amazing and a great touch. Location was perfect and scenery was beautiful with the snow blanketing everything. The place served its purpose for our stay. Kelly messaged me the day of our trip and offered to allow us to cancel for a refund or reschedule due to severe snow and ice we were getting. I thought that was the nicest thing. You don’t find too many people caring about another persons safety, especially one they don’t know. We decided to to attempt the trip and I’m glad we did. Kelly respected our privacy but was readily available if needed. Can’t wait to visit in the summer!

    Sarah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Kelly is a wonderful host and her home was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay there again!

    Ashley2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly was a very nice host. The place is clean and spare. T mobile phone service didn’t work there, which was find for us, but I note it here in case it could be a problem for future guests.

    Tauba2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly and her husband were great, responsive hosts. The house, property, and hot tub were as good as advertised- we had an excellent time!

This cozy house is close to ski resorts, wineries/breweries/distilleries, hiking trails, state parks and beautiful views. You'll love the house because of the comfortable amenities and charming lake view. You'll find it is good for couples and solo adventurers. You have walking access to Honeoye Lake to enjoy a swim or to sit and appreciate the view. THERE IS NOT A DOCK OR PLACE TO PARK A BOAT with this rental home. State boat launch is on the other side of the lake for boating use.
This is a single house with one bedroom and one bathroom. It is not handicap accessible due to entrance stairs. Kitchen is small but equipped with the standard housewares you'd have at home, coffeemaker and toaster included. There is no television or Wi-Fi, please relax and enjoy. There is a stereo and alarm clock radio.
This neighborhood is a mix of permanent resident homes and rental homes. Lots of people take walks and enjoy all four seasons.
  • Wonderful getaway! This is a really cute spot for a couple. Patti was a great host and the area is really charming. The lake is magical in the winter with all of the ice fishing and families playing together on the ice. Also close to the ski mountain and neat trails. We also really appreciated not having internet because it allowed us to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors, play games, read, and relax. Thanks for a great stay Patti!

    Perry2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cute homey little place with good access to local skiing and breweries

    Molly2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lakeview House is amazing. Patti is an awesome host. My best friend and I enjoyed every moment we were there. The view is outstanding and the House was very clean. I am thinking of when I can go back again. I would highly recommend Lakeview House to anyone that will listen. The access to the lake is so wonderful. Just to sit at the shore and relax.

  • Cute and cosy little cabin in a beautiful area of Upper New York Sate. The host is very responsive and while the cabin is somewhat older it is very clean. Thanks Patti and Amanda.

  • What a great spot for a weekend getaway! The property was beautiful, the cabin had everything we needed, and Patti and Amanda were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!!

  • Nice and clean space. Beautiful view

    Alyson2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Patti’s pace was clean, quiet, and quaint. My husband and I were on a short trip to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and just wanted to relax. There were beautiful views of the water, just enough space to do everything we wanted, and peace and quiet. Patti was very friendly - introduced herself and even gave us suggestions of some things to do in the area. For a place so close to water, I was nervous about bugs. I only saw one spider the whole weekend! I really appreciated how clean the place was. All of her expectations were reasonable and easy to follow. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely go back!

    Nicole2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful weekend we had at the Lakeview House. Patti and Amanda were great hosts, excelllent communication, very friendly. The Lakeview is clean and accomidating. This area of the state is one of our favorites, so beauiful. The communities are always so pleasant. The location of Patti and Amanda's space is perfect for exploring all the area has to offer then coming back to a private, quiet evening sitting by the lake.

  • This place is an outstanding value and so PICTURE PERFECT. While looks are not everything, this place is also comfortable and WELL equipped with everything a group or family would need to enjoy a vacation. The host is very caring of her guests and their experience on her property. A true home away from home!

    Tricia2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is cozy and on a delightful part of Honeoye Lake. Lovely, friendly neighbors, great views, and close to many things to do. When you get there, find the photo album on the bookshelf to make sure you get the full history of the cabin--it's fascinating! Marcia is lovely and able to answer any questions you may have. It's a great place for a weekend away!

    Stevie2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Clean cabin with absolutely beautiful views of the lake. Perfect size and quiet. Awesome place to get away for a bit!

  • The pictures don’t do it justice! Absolutely a little piece of paradise on Honeoye Lake! The best view and rustic charm we could’ve asked for! We’d like to make it an annual event. The best value on the lake!

  • So much character inside this cozy lakeside cabin, and the view is breathtaking. Can’t wait to stay there again

    Greg2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing location!!!

    Lauren2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was a nice place for a family getaway. We were interested in a place on a lake, with a kitchen, washer/dryer, and a cottage feel. This was it. We spent time swimming and fishing in the lake, playing board games (that we brought from home), and just being together. Marcia stopped by shortly after we got there. She was friendly and acclimated us to the property. The weather was rainy for part of our trip, and Marcia gave us some local suggestions of things to do. She was helpful but not intrusive. All of this, combined with beautiful scenery, made for a great trip!

    Weija2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We spent three nights at Janes place, exploring the Finger Lakes area. The cottage was as picured, cozy and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was watching fireflies from the porch at night!

    Johanna2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jane was a wonderful host and the place is peaceful & relaxing and exactly as advertised 😊

    Anne2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jane’s cottage is a direct reflection of her care and hard work. A Peaceful retreat to go and get away from it all without getting away from all of your creature comforts. Jane herself is a model host; she has suggests for all types of activities and listen to her restaurant suggestions; DID NOT DISAPPOINT. We appreciate that Jane grows with her Airbnb and genuinely wanted to hear about our time away from the cabin so she can provide a better experience for the next guest. We came for the cabin but we will return for our host; and to try out that goat milk!

Simply kick back and relax in the cutest lakeside cottage on Honeoye Lake! This is our personal cottage that we rent out on a limited bases. You can see large mouth bass swimming right by the shoreline. There is plenty of room for the whole family. Come see what the finger lakes are all about! I have included a nice fireplace so you can even enjoy the winter months.
Cute cottage feel and spacious for the whole family. The first floor has two bedrooms a bathroom and a storage/laundry room. It is painted nautical colors with nautical decor. The second floor has walls and ceiling covered in pine with carpet flooring and three beds. Spacious for all the kids. Some say it feels like summer camp when they were kids.
Honeoye is a very cool area. So relaxing and scenic. The vibe of the area is great with down to earth locals and vacationers who are in good spirits. What's not to love when you are at the lake.
  • It's not the Hilton but you can't beat the price. It was a great place to stay while skiing at Bristol.

We, specially the kids loved the attic !! Wonderful location and the lake was frozen when we were here!! Now planning for a fishing trip in summer just to spend more time at Franks cabin !! Wonderful Host !! Worth the visit !!!

  • This space is well maintained with hosts that are very easy to reach. Every thing you would need is on hand and the area is beautiful. They even went out of their way to congratulate me and my fiancé on our recent engagement with a small gift. Checking in and checking out were both a seamless process. Would definitely want to return.

  • This was a great, cozy house to enjoy for the week. The fireplace got plenty of use in the chilly weather. Plenty of local waterfalls and hikes to check out, with the canoe and kayaks providing a great option for at-home adventure. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy some swimming in the lake.

    Phillip2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and beautifully decorated. Accommodations were wonderful as well as the view. We did not get a chance to take the canoe out to the lake only because mother nature was not cooperating. We highly recommend coming here and hope we can come again some day. Thank you to Christine and Jeff for opening their house to us. We had a most enjoyable time.

  • This was such a great find. My husband and I loved it and would love to come back. Everything we needed was provided and then some. Great views of the lake, nice flat yard, and a beautiful time of the year made this our best Finger Lake visit so far. Thanks to Stephan for making this super easy and for sharing this great cottage.

    Betty2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect location for our girls’ weekend getaway - the cabin was beautiful and had so many nice, homey touches. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly wanted for cooking and meals. We especially enjoyed the porch for relaxing and visiting! Stephen was a fantastic host who made sure that we had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend.

    Kat2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place is perfectly as described. Water, dock, and fire pit were all on the property. The property itself was well groomed and the cottage was clean for our stay. The lake is quiet and calm, as is the surrounding cottage community. Vineyards and local food is excellent, and a gorgeous scenic drive is all that is between you and the neighbouring lakes and wine communities. Could not recommend the hosts or the property enough.

    Joseph2019-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Nice clean house with access to water. the lake is about 30' away from the backyard door with direct access through the lawns. Amazing place to relax and enjoy.

    Vishal2019-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • The home is updated and modern with a cozy lake cottage feel. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed to make Easter dinner and the dining room on the porch had the best view! A little tricky to find as there are a few roads with the same name but only one has this house's road connected to it, so might be a good idea to ask the host for more specific directions than your GPS provides. We didn't use the boat but my brother caught several fish off the dock! Overall, we had a great time!

    Brooke2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first! It has everything I want in a rental- clean, comfortable, and easy. We plan to come back in the future.

    Claudia2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • We scheduled a girl's getaway for 2 days at this cottage. It was the perfect place. The view of the lake is beautiful and the attention to detail was spot on. It was as good if not better than staying in a hotel! I will definently be coming back.

The home is perfect for summer and fall, and we all agreed that it would make for an unforgettable Christmas rental with the open floor plan, fireplaces, and view. The home was spotless, kitchen FULLY stocked. The host Dave had quick responses and was always accessible and very polite. The master suite was amazing!

  • Came to get away and enjoy nature and the changing leaves. And I wanted to roast marshmallows! Catharine left the lights on for us as we had a very late check in. Hummingbird Haven was a slight bit of a hike but it was so peaceful and secluded. Loved the decor and the heated blankets and space heater. Everything was very cozy. Cathy is a wealth of knowledge and will make you coffee and let you know all the local fun things to do! An amazing value!

  • Highly recommended. My wife, 2 year old son, dog and I had a blast at Cathy's place. The cabin we were in was very secluded and cozy, and the common area was spacious comfortable and a great way to meet other travellers. Cathy was up every morning making coffee, and catching us up on local things to do. She is a wealth of knowledge and hands down the best host we've had with air b&b. This area is great for checking out upstate New York, or would be perfect for just chilling near the cabin. Can't say enough good things

    Max2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Catharise was very timely, responsive, and available if needed. Her cabins were a great weekend getaway on a budget.

    Allison2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a neat little place with a good feel and nice lodge and cabin. We had a great time and Cathy was a tremendous help with an incoming briefing about the system and sights to see in the area. She was very responsive and when we had a self-inflicted issue she went out of her way to help fix it. This experience was what I was looking for and expected.

  • Beautiful house! We were a group of eight ladies on a weekend trip. There was plenty of room for all of us. Jacuzzi, fire pit, kayaks, the view... We wanted to stay another day. Communication with Bob was great. He responded quickly and his winery recommendations were spot on. We had an amazing trip and hope to book Bob's house next year for our second annual girl's trip.

    Michelle2019-09-15T00:00:00Z

  • A secluded home yet short drive to several quaint towns nearby for groceries or restaurants. Hiking, lake access very close by. Robbs place was clean, updated decor and offered several amenities. If you are looking for a quiet get away this place will more than meet that requirement. Great Host!

    Scott2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very well stocked place! Had all the things we could possibly need - lots of pots and pans, cookware, cutlery, etc. Robb was a very good host and brought us up firewood and put in an AC unit knowing it would be a hot day, without us even asking for either. Setting is great- surrounded by trees and the outdoors! A little far from Keuka, Seneca, or Cayuga, but still worth it! We enjoyed our stay and had fun visiting Naples, Honeye and Canadaigua and hiking around Hemlock Lake and Naples when we didn't want to go further afield.

    Rachel2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely the right place for appreciating the finger lakes region and the country! Nearby towns with great food, hiking all around, wakeboard park 35 min up the road. I was in paradise!

There were many amenities included, like bed linens, comforters and pillows, that surprised us. Catharine is a wonderful and knowlegable host. We enjoyed our home away from home.

  • Catherine's tipi was a great place to stay for a few days while we were seeing Letchworth State Park and the Finger Lakes. It was fun, a great location, and a very good value. (And for those who would rather stay in a "normal" room, she also has a number of cabins.) We will try to stay there again when we are in the area next.

    Peter2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great "glamping" experience for us! We all loved staying in a teepee but it was great to have access to electricity, bathrooms & showers. Catherine was very hospitable! She blew up little air mattresses for the kids and we all had a wonderful time!

    Lisa2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great weekend get away, we stayed in the Hiawatha which was the tepee on the property and had an amazing time. Catherine provided us with everything we needed and then some , she is one of the most genuine and nicest people you'll meet and she knows the region and has plenty of great recommendations for all aspects of travel. She even goes as far as to having freshly chopped firewood there every night for our bonfires. Great for family looking to get away or college students looking for that necessary get away from school for a weekend. (Also Catherine has a outdoor cat named "Fusa" and he is the coolest cat you will ever meet, highly recommend saying hi to him when he approaches you)

    Vinnie2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Catharine is definitely one of the best hosts I’ve had along my travels. Very communicative, greeted me in person and gave me all the information I needed and more, continued to give more useful information throughout our stay, but was never invasive of our privacy and gave us our space to do as we pleased. The communal lodge is a great space providing all daily needs, cooking, showering, coffee, etc, and is an opportunity to socialize with Cathy and/or other guests, and/or develop fun plans for the day, with pamphlets/brochures for just about everything around. The teepee is comfy and cozy and a unique opportunity to feel as though you’re camping without the hassle of tent set up/break down. Cathy provides just about everything you could need. My only regret is not staying longer! Recommended to all, and looking forward to planning our next stay.

  • Great location, on the lake. Nice to watch television with the fireplace warming the room. Great balcony for breakfast! The coffee was the best and the kitchen utensils and the pans are as good as new. The beds are comfortable and our daughters enjoyed the bunk bed.

  • Absolutely beautiful space and views! The porches and dock were perfect for dinner at night and breakfast in the morning, and the nighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect place for a reunion with friends and you can't beat watching the sun rise from the dock while listening to the ducks chatter. I would highly recommend and I'd definitely return!

  • I came here to do a little writing and fishing for a week. Derek's place has everything any traveler or family could need as far as amenities and space. Use of the canoes and kayaks in the garage was great. The back porch is relaxing place to be and having the water right there can't be beat. I'd definitely come back again and had a great time.

  • A spectacular house. Amazing space, plenty of room for 12 adults. The pool, hot tub, house, bathroom we’re extremely clean. Plenty of house, arcade, great view from the house. The property manager was above and beyond great. Power lines went down and the house generator blew. The property manager did absolutely everything to make us comfortable and to get the problem fixed immediately. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a good time and some seclusion!

  • Great place!

    Leo2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Charlotte's place is one of the best airbnbs I've been to. The house is large, spacious and well equipped. The property is large and ideal for kids who want to run around and occasionally hang out on the hammocks. The best part is the pond next to the house, where we spent a great deal of our time. The two minor things I would note are (a) the ceiling in the upper floor (which has most of the beds) is short and an average adult cannot stand up straight there, and (b) the water in the taps are well water, which means that their smell and taste are somewhat unpleasant (there are plenty of bottled drinking water in the house, so it's mostly the odor). All-in-all, great value!

    Roy2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very good location. Charlotte was quick to respond to our questions. Tap water has high sulphur, which was a concern but Charlotte provided ample water for drinking and cooking.

Turtle Rock Hollow is an nature retreat located at the south end of Honeoye Lake. 3 Microcabins and our tepee give guests privacy while the Lodge at Turtle Rock Hollow is a great place to bring everyone together. We are ideally located in the middle of the finger lakes. Access to the lakes is just moments away. Pet friendly facility.
  • We had a great stay and really enjoyed the camp. Cathy's done a great job with buiding and decorating the place, each cabin has its own unique charm! Turtle Hollow was the perfect blend of camping and comfort that I was looking for! The beds were cozy and the cabins have tons of windows to expose you to the view of the natural beauty all arond, all while potectig you from exposure to the natural elements. It is rustic and is best for someone looking for a "camping plus" or glamping expereince, as comforts such as air conditioning, wifi, or ensuite bathrooms aren't there. There are two toilets and 2 showers at the lodge. They were clean and the water nice and hot. Speaking of water, drinking water is also supplied (as the running water isn't potable). There is a fully stocked kitchen, with range, oven, microwave, tea kettle, and all the plates, cups, cultery etc that you need. There are also numerous grills around the property as well as fire pits. The teepee was a surprise hit, my 70+year old father and aunt both had spirtual expereinces sleeping in the teepee, peaking at the stars and the fireflies until they fell asleep. We just fell in love with this place, and with Honeoye. My extended family is from Rochester but this jewel of a town with its artists, farmers markets, and natural beauty had never been revealed to us before. Now that it has, we all plan on going back and visiting again some day! Cathy is a real gem and went above and beyond in her hosting duties. This is a very special place indeed.

    Danielle2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at Cathy's compound. Plenty of room for 12 adults! Not a lot of AirBnB's can welcome that many people without making it feel crowded. Cathy was very helpful.

  • We've stayed often at cottages on Honeoye Lake during the summer but this was our first stay at the Red Cottage in late fall. The fall colors were amazing! The cottage is extremely clean and cozy, the mattresses were very comfortable and the bedding and decor were really nice. The kitchen is small but really well stocked. We couldn't believe how much silverware, cups, plates, and cookware was available. Other cottages stock the bare minimum. Aluminum dock is sturdy and has a nice built in bench. Finally, we really appreciated how quickly Kerry responded to emails and texts. Thank you for the great fall getaway!

We have a lovely place for tent campers here at Summer Hills Farm in a clearing down the path to the woods and near a stream. Bring your own tent and camping gear or you can ask to use ours. There's a picnic table there with benches and a fire pit. We love bicycle campers too. . . put it all on your bike and go. This is a good place to rest, relax and regroup. We can offer you some fresh eggs and milk while you are here. Ask us for good places to eat and great places to visit.
For campers who are looking for a peaceful stay to write or renew. Near beautiful quiet lakes with wonderful hiking and running trails. A great location for Kayaking on serene lakes and Wine and Craft Brewery tours around Naples and Canandaigua.
  • Jane’s campsite is amazing — the perfect getaway for some peace and rest in the woods. The site is cozy and private (and primitive, as others have said; but if you’re an experienced camper, it’s just perfect!) The location is accessible to so much in the area. (There’s so much to explore, just within a 10 minute driving radius.). Jane is warm and inviting, and her farm is lovely. We will definitely be back. Don’t miss out on this incredible site!

    Emily2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at the campsite with our two dogs. The site was perfect! A nice path through the farm leads you to a wooded site with a tarp on the ground ready for a tent, a big firepit, a picnic table, and chair. We fit our huge 8 man tent and dining canopy on the site with space left. There's a small stream a little bit down the path. This is a primitive site, perfect for us. As Jane notes, campers should have camping experience before staying here. We heard barred owls and saw deer. It rained hard, but we stayed dry. There site drained well and there wasn't any puddling to be concerned about. Jane was a great hostess! She is very welcoming, gave great local tips (there is a state park with hiking trails 3 minutes away), shared her farming knowledge with us and is one of the most kind individuals we have had the pleasure of meeting.

  • From the get go Jane was very helpful and timely in answering any questions I had and offered tips since we were tent camping. Check-in was easy and and she showed us around her beautiful property where we got to meet all the animals! The pictures don’t do it justice as it is very quaint, quiet and peaceful and we were greeted with flowers on the picnic table which was a nice touch. It’s a great location and close to numerous finger lakes. We would definitely come back to visit as we truly enjoyed our stay and Jane’s hospitality!

  • This is a lovely camping experience. The campsite is about 100 yards from where you park, and there is a wheelbarrow available to transport your gear. The site has a fire pit and picnic table and there is a bathroom for use. It is very secluded and peaceful.

  • The campsite was awesome! Super private but with all of the needed amenities a short walk away. Jane greeted us as soon as we arrived. She was super friendly and attentive but gave us all the space we wanted. She also let us use her tent and some other equipment during our stay. I’ll definitely return!

  • My wife and I camped at Jane’s farm in Candadice, NY and we loved it! We enjoyed the privacy and convenience. The pond is beautiful and the bath house is a great ameninity especially when you’re camping in a tent. More importantly, Jane was a fantastic host offering great suggestions and making sure all our needs were met. We Would definitely recommend, and would stay again! Don’t hesitate to enjoy a fun experience in the finger lakes!
