Cottage holiday rentals in Canadice

Our family had a wonderful stay at Alycia's home. The house is right on the lake, peaceful, quiet with beautiful views! Very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We explored Geneva, Watkins Glen and Penn Yan. Hiked the Gorge Trail and visited Seneca Falls. Both were amazing! Our host Alycia was very helpful, responsive and went above and beyond. We highly recommend this house for small groups and families and hope to return someday.

Nice setting easy to get to all activities we were looking to do like Watkins glen and wineries. Tony provided detailed instructions and gave good recommendations!

Peppermint Cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The scent of peppermint welcomed us upon our arrival. The fireplace and wide-plank floors created a perfect ambiance as we enjoyed the comfortable, cozy living room. The beds were comfy and the sheets crisp and clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to visit again someday.

The Diane and Tom were very responsive and helpful from local attractions to helping provide tools when we had car trouble. The space was very welcoming and even had local coffee, s'mores makings, and other snacks. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at anytime of the day and the lake was within walking distance. The only downside was an uncomfortable master bed, but the other 3 beds were like sleeping on clouds! The water is not drinkable due to taste, but we brought our own.

The from the house was wonderful. Everything inside was clean and it was a very nice house to spend the weekend. There was one maintenance issue that was handled really before there was an issue. Everything was communicated clearly and handled very professionally. We really enjoyed our girls trip weekend here and would highly recommend this house to others.

The Lake House was a beautiful old house with a spectacular view. Check in instructions were clear and check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Bedrooms were cozy but need more lighting. Bathrooms were clean. We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the outdoor space. Firewood was provided for the firepit, and beach towels that have seen many seasons, were provided for the hot tub. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is a well-loved family home, and you will find family pictures and art from the grandkids on the walls. If you are looking for a hotel like atmosphere this isn't the place for you. Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home.

Cozy Clark Cottage was all we could have wanted for a long stay at the lake. The location was the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. Set far back on a secondary lane and not visible from the main road, but only a couple minute drive into town for groceries, a pharmacy, a huge wooden playground, a library, bank, post office, bakery (amazing!), the quaintest brewery, and more. The region itself is breathtaking with tons to do! We thoroughly loved playing in the large yard. The lake is beautiful and we went to the water’s edge every single day - rain or shine - to skip stones, wait (& wait) for fish to bite, and search for tiny shells and “fairy glass.” The fire pit provided welcomed heat on chilly evenings, as did the wood-burning stove inside. One of our favorite features was the climb up nook with a double bed where my kids rotated who would be the designated occupants. Beds were comfortable and we all woke well-rested for each day’s adventures. This spot is a gem!

We have stayed at this house multiple times. It is our home away from home at the Finger Lakes. You can’t beat the location! The house is absolutely perfect. It is a wonderful getaway. I can’t recommend it enough.

We enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s Cottage - Lake Canadaigua, NY. The porch was our favorite place and where we spent almost every moment while we were at the cottage minus sleeping. It was comfortable and offered all that we needed. Jamie and Renee were great hosts, very friendly, willing to help with any of our needs, and made good recommendations of places for us to go and see in the area. Our group had a lovely stay at Cheryl’s during MDW despite the on/off rainy weather. There’s lots to do nearby, which Cheryl helpfully recommended to us — we hiked at Letchworth State Park, went on a horseback trail ride at the Nunda Ranch , and visited some wineries along the Keuka Wine Trail. At home, we enjoyed grilling and hanging out around the fire. Our dogs also loved running around in the yard, jumping into the lake from the private dock, and joining us in the pedal boats.

We came to see Goose at CMAC and wanted a full lake weekend and this definitely delivered! The place is beautiful, comfortable, and close to anything you’d want to do, would definitely stay again!

Great peaceful space. The views were beautiful. The house had very cute touches and the beds were very comfortable!

We had a terrific stay! Phillip was proactive and responsive. Check-in and check-out were easy . There were personal touches, snacks and wine awaiting us upon arrival! The house is beautifully located on the lake with great sunrises and views. Close to Hammondsport and many great wineries. Highly recommend!

Was a beautiful place. Quite had plenty of good fire wood and very clean place. Neighbors were great enclosed front porch was great to eat and be able to look at lake. Nice air conditioning though out home. Will definitely visit again. Steve was a wonderful host. 5 stars I.n my book

Christopher was extremely patient and accommodating after I made a booking error for our weekend. The place is really fun and in a great location. You can walk to so many different restaurants, ice cream shop, coffee, and the lake. Would absolutely book again.

This property is magical and after two years of visiting, has quickly become my favorite spot in the Finger Lakes!!! The house is well appointed with all of the little details considered and executed on for guests (seasonings, food storage containers, firewood, hooks to hang your personal items in the bedrooms and bathrooms, throw blankets, etc.). As soon as you step in, you feel right at home and the lakeside fire-pit and view from the top wraparound deck are serene and beautiful spots to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. We saw herons and eagles daily from the deck and if you kayak to the nearby cove, you can enjoy more birdwatching if you love nature like us!! The lake entry is easy to get in and the landscape and property are in pristine condition. Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Anthony’s place was immaculate! So beautiful inside and out! Really enjoyed our stay! The s’more kit was a sweet surprise! Thank you for sharing your lake home with us! We would definitely love to visit again!!

We had a great time on Waneta. The second story balcony had a nice view of the lake was a wonderful place to relax after a day hiking at Watkins Glen, Letchworth, and other places. We also enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. I hope that others find time to enjoy a stay here as well.

The Place was all we needed for a long family weekend away. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Good restaurant in walking distance as well as a local deli/store. Great location, lake is only a short walk from the house. Priscilla was a great host and addressed all of our questions. Thank you for a great stay!

This lake house was the perfect weekend getaway for our group! The whole house was clean, and had beautiful views everywhere you went. Our weather during our weekend was a bit rainy but having the sauna and all of the games provided still allowed us to have an amazing time! We will absolutely book this house in the future :)

Perfect little house. Everything was spotless. Kitchen and bathroom amenities were great. Wish the weather were nicer so that we could have sat outside. Great location halfway between Keuka and Seneca; easy drive to Penn Yan, Watkins Glen, Geneva, or Hammondsport. We would not hesitate to recommend!

Wow - what a fantastic lakeside retreat! There must be 6 different places to sit/gather outside - the fire table was especially nice for sipping some Riesling on a chilly night. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of amenities (including kayaks if so inclined). Very quiet surroundings (we were there during the week-end, too), but you have to watch out for the seagulls - they like to hang out on the deck. Great location is within 1/2 hour of many excellent wineries and restaurants. Would definitely return here the next time we are in FLX!
