Frank's place was perfect for our stay visiting friends in the local area. very clean place, comfortable bed, and lots of helpful items available that we needed. It was a peaceful night's sleep too. Would definitely stay again!

Great house, well described and just what we needed

Staying at the bottom of Sue's beautiful garden felt very private and peaceful. Table and chairs to sit out and enjoy sun and comfy country cottage style inside. The property has a lovely bedroom with comfy bed and ensuite, the sitting area and kitchen are combined and the kitchen is very well stocked and spacious (not a small kitchenette like in some small properties). Location is amazing, a beautiful village with multiple thatched cottages. We enjoyed short walks along the river and across the fields (to the Black Horse pub which has good food menu and great outdoor beer garden looking over the fields). Sue was very friendly and happy to help. A great find for a last minute escape from London.

The cottage, situated in the centre of the lovely village of Great Bowden, was absolutely perfect for all our needs. Extremely well equipped, warm and very welcoming. A wonderful kitchen/dining area…..just right for our family. The sun shining on the glitter ball, in the garden, gave an amazing light display ~ our granddaughter was absolutely mesmerised! Many, many thanks 🤩

Really nice stay!

Gary kindly let me into the flat personally even though my journey was delayed. There was a minor issue with the boiler but it was fixed. The flat is in a good location for several shops and restaurants, and very bright and airy. Enjoyed my stay!

Great stay at the Birds Nest! Sarah was a responsive friendly host as were the family on site. You can tell they take pride in their land/home. BnB was spacious with lovely views and clean all around, was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway, would definitely stay again :)

We absolutely loved this apartment and the view from the balcony was as stunning as the pictures. The host was very responsive and was able on this occasion to meet our request to enter the apartment earlier which we were extremely grateful for. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting the area.

We had a lovely weekend at the cottage! It was cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the kitchen was well-equipped which made cooking really easy. Communication with Alex was smooth and helpful throughout. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

I really enjoy staying at Tolu’s accommodation, found the place clean and tidy, room smelled so nice, clean shower, parking spot great, location is very calm, will definitely come back at some point!! Highly recommend

Really enjoyed my stay here it was everything I’d hoped for and more… I had time to reconnect with nature and my family and disconnect from my phone. Jane and her family were very accommodating and friendly throughout. Felt completely relaxed throughout and right at home. Highly recommend C Brumpton butchers for cakes, pies, preserves and all round good fare. And Naturscape Wildflower Farm and Tea Rooms - handy stop for a cheerful lunch on the trip home. Will be back!

Another lovely stay in a really comfy room. Nice quiet location. Parking by the house was full but it was easy to park on the main street less than a walk up to the house. Warm comfortable bed and super fast WiFi. As always with booking a room in a house it's a gamble with who is staying in the other rooms, First time I stayed everyone was quiet at night this time one of the other guests was watching TV quite loudly at 5am. overall pleased with my stay and I'd be happy to come again.

Lucky with the weather during our 3 night stay made it even better than expected. The balcony and the bi-fold doors were ideal for viewing the surrounding countryside and the sunsets. The area was really spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.

Absolutely amazing grounds to get lost in. My children took there paddle boards and spent hours paddling around. Tony, the owner, was lovely and really friendly. Highly recommend for a break away in a peaceful environment.
