Holiday rentals with lake access in Rutland County

Oh my goodness! our stay at Saint Lake Catherine in Wells,VT absolutely wonderful. My brother, his wife, a very good friend,and myself enjoyed our time there so much. It's definitely a place we hope to revisit soon. Alison is so responsive to your every question. The home is in the perfect setting. The Lake, the beautiful Mountains,the country store, the people were so friendly, The fresh produce. Everything. The very best part is the home though, sitting right on the lake. First time I've vacationed and didn't want to leave the house. I could've just sat there and breathe in the air and atmosphere all day long. The quiet peaceful cottage in Wells. My favorite place to visit to this day. If you're looking for a place to absolutely relax, this is the place. I will never forget The Cottage in Wells, VT

Perfect place for our group ski trip to Okemo- few minutes to drive there. Had plenty of space and seating to hang out. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. It took us a minute to locate the fridge in the island as it is a drawer , but there was also a drink fridge that provided more room for items and a full sized fridge in the basement! Would definitely reccomend!

Kristie was super friendly and very responsive. She went above and beyond to provide a perfect place to stay for the weekend. Will definitely book future trips with her.

We are fishermen from CT who stay at Bob’s place every year. This place accommodates us comfortably. We are able to walk to restaurants and love the location. Bob is so proactive making our stay so easy. He always communicates well and responds quickly to our needs. Until next year.🎣

Amazing house, easy check in and check out! Loved the hot tub, games, fireplaces (indoor and out) and plenty of space! A great house for a ski trip! 10/10 would recommend.

This place is beautiful, meticulously organized and have everything you need! It’s great for a small family or group of friends that want to unwind on the lake. I’ll be back!

It was good for what we needed comfortable and convenient to local businesses

Great location for Okemo ski trip. House had a really good layout for two families. We enjoyed the big kitchen, pool table, hot tub, and 3 full bathrooms. The sun room looking across the lake was perfect for morning coffee and group puzzling. Melissa was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond accommodating us when we needed to move our check in date to one day earlier. If you stay, make sure to check out Crowley Cheese nearby. Delicious Vermont cheddar. We would gladly return!

Really enjoyed my stay at Paul’s Airbnb. He was extremely responsive and always got back to me within minutes of contacting him. The location was beautiful and proximal to the lake as well as restaurants in Castleton. I will definitely stay here next time I’m visiting family in the area!

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

We enjoyed our long weekend at this cute apartment. We were visiting our daughter at the nearby university and got some skiing in at Killington and Pico. The apartment had everything we needed, full kitchen, bathroom, washer and dryer, bed and separate sitting area. We will definitely be back!!

Great spot, stayed here while skiing in Killington (45 minute drive). Full kitchen was great and both beds were comfortable. Close to rutland too (15-20 minutes) where’s there’s more food and store options. Would stay again!

Last minute life changes landed me attending university with no lodgings. Thankfully, I was able to find Paul's spot, which was ideal for a serens work environment. As good as it gets.

This was our third year at the Spiral Cottage for our annual girls trip!! Lisa is SO responsive and accommodating and we always have an absolute blast at her place. Thank you Lisa!!

We definitely have never stayed in a rental that was so CLEAN! Aside from the labels, it felt as if we were not staying at a rental property at all. When we go away, it’s nice to stay somewhere that’s close to as nice and comfortable as home. We were warm and cozy. The house had everything and way more than we needed and we would like to see how beautiful it would be in the Summertime. The house was spacious and we loved the history and charm that it possesses. The hot tub was a major draw and sparkling clean also. It snowed practically the entire visit and felt private with all the trees surrounding the property. A huge perk was the proximity to Okemo and Killington for the boarders in our group. With the looks of the Volleyball net and court, presumably the owners are fans of the game! Bravo, Alecia- we thank you for your hospitality!

My partner and I loved our stay at this cozy lake house and think it may be one of our favorite places out of everywhere we have visited. The lake was beautiful even though it was a rainy weekend with a very quiet peaceful area which was great for relaxing to recharge. The private dock was an added bonus that we enjoyed to be able to observe the scenery and is even where my partner chose to pop the question and propose when we had a moment of sunshine (I said yes)! 💍 For breakfast one morning we went to Bomoseen Diner not too far from the lake house, which had really good food and we would recommend it to anyone else who chooses to visit. If my partner and I are looking to visit Vermont again, we will definitely be trying to stay here! 🌄

Beautiful property, highly recommend! Ian and Steph were communicative and friendly and helpful, and the location right on Tinmouth Pond is gorgeous.

The lake front cabin has great views and peaceful surroundings. The lake was frozen, so kids enjoyed ice fishing and watching the stars. We had plenty of snow for sledding and skiing in Killington. John made sure the driveway was clean and safe at all times. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Kate was a great host. The cottage was rustic and cozy, the view of the lake was magnificent. She was responsive and went above and beyond to help us when we had questions. We will definitely stay there again when we need an escape.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin as always! It is such a perfect beautiful spot, private and quiet and comfortable. The screened in porch is a fave, the place has everything you need from cooking stuff to cozy blankets, board games books life jackets, they think of everything. We will be back!
