Cottage holiday rentals in Rutherford County

Peaceful weekend getaway! The cottage is privately located just minutes from downtown Tryon and was easy to get to Saluda’s hiking trails as well. We enjoyed sitting by the river and the beautiful property in its entirety, animals & all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Tryon!

Very clean. Easy to find. Would definitely rent again. Sad to see the state that Lake Lure is in, but the town is working hard to repair.

Lovely, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing with so much room! My little family of 4 could not have been happier here I was so blessed to have came across this place! From canoeing and kayaking to the beach and back, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, having fun trying to fish while watching all the turtles, to the hot tub and game room we just couldn’t stop running out of things to do and the memories that will last a lifetime! We never even had to leave this beautiful place with bringing groceries on the way there and we sure did not want to leave when it was check out time! From my husband and I to our two beautiful kids we all would highly recommend this place! Brody was such a wonderful host from start to finish always fast to respond with any questions that I may of had! Again would highly recommend this place!!

Shannon's cabin was adorable and the perfect size for our family. The kitchen met all of our needs and I was glad there was a washer/dryer. The best part was the boat dock with a canoe and paddle boards and our kids spent so much time in the cove out on the water. The neighbors are amazing and if you are lucky enough to stay while they are around you might get some fantastic adult beverages and great conversation. We rented a boat a pulled it right up the dock which was super convenient. The host took care of all of our needs quickly and we would highly recommend Shannon's place !!!

We loved staying at this great find! We loved the character of the older home combined with the beautiful updates! The yard was so beautiful, complete with banana trees! The screened in porch is fabulous for reading, relaxing and unwinding! The location was an easy walk into Tryon and the bakery, where you can find delicious treats! Tryon is close to so many towns, hiking trails and fabulous restaurants! I highly recommend this quaint, cozy and fabulous gem! Cannot wait to come back! Thank you for sharing it with us! We loved it!

The owner was very communicative throughout our month-long stay. The property was exactly as described. We found it very comfortable and quiet. Main Street shopping and restaurants are a short walk away. There are lots of outdoor activities nearby.

Great location with quick access to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Happy with our decision to book this cabin for the week.

The house is in a lovely rural setting away from all hustle & bustle and near horse pastures. The house was very clean and Michelle was a very kind and responsive host. With my long term stay it was nice that they provided house keeping to keep the house clean. Both check in and check out were very easy!

We were looking for a home that was within walking distance to Chimney Rock Village. This home is about a 1-2 min walk to the beginning of the village and about a 10 min walk to Lake Lure Park. The neighborhood that this home is in has very friendly neighbors and is very quiet. The only thing we could hear was the Broad River. The home was very clean and cozy. Our dog loved the fully fenced in yard, which was big enough for her to get a good run in. Amanda was very responsive and kept great communication. I highly recommend this home and we would definitely stay here again.

David & Tammy were amazing hosts. They were clear in all of their communication and very accommodating. The house is perfect. It is very well appointed. There was not anything that I needed that was not there. The space was perfect for my daughter and I who were here at the Tryon World Equestrian Center. The house was big enough for another mother daughter duo. The location was perfect. Although the address is Landrum the property is in Tryon. I ventured to Landrum because I needed to go to Verizon and that town was equally cute and it’s only five minutes down the road from the house. The trip to the horse show was only about 20 minutes. When we finished at the horse show there were plenty of restaurants right near the property. In fact, you could walk to a couple of them. I was obsessed with this place because it is across the street from the cutest nursery, which I can’t wait to come back to. I will definitely book this property for the next show. Thank y’all for everything.

BOOK THIS AIRBNB! This was by far the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Lauris is an extraordinary host down to the tiniest of details. We had everything we could need and more at this airbnb and it provided us with the most magical experience. 11/10 recommend staying at this beautiful cottage.

This was our second stay at Bluebird and it was just as lovely as the first. Lauria and Randy are excellent hosts and their home is such a peaceful respite from the world. Our boys were 1 and 4 last time we came and they’ve been asking to go back ever since. They were sad to leave when it was time to go. They feel so at home there. A perfect way to explore the beautiful WNC region while coming home to a peaceful, secluded paradise at the end of every day.

Booked this cottage as a mini getaway to see the Christmas lights in the downtown with my boyfriend and our dog. The cottage was so cozy and relaxing. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and responsive when exchanging messages. My boyfriend and I loved that the kitchen and bathroom were supplied with all the necessities if needed during our stay.

My family and I all agreed our favorite parts were the fun playground and fire pit in the big backyard, the comfy beds, the clean bathrooms, the lovely kitchen and the spacious living area. It was close to the wedding venue, Caitlyn Farms. I would definitely stay at Oscar‘s place again!
