The bach was lovely, real kiwi bach also Toni was amazing to deal with and left clear instructions on how to get to the bach as well as checking ourselves in Had everything you possibly would need for a trip away I absolutely loved the place and such an awesome area! The beach would be perfect for kids or swimmers who aren't to confident as the waves aren't strong at all but also have the option of a short walk to the end of the beach to a big shallow area with very little to no waves I really recommend this little bach, I fell in love and definitely would stay again!!

What a tremendous place to stay! This is certainly a magic spot and for 80% of the time the weather was accommodating and gave us the opportunity to explore this part of the coastline. The diving in the bay itself is on the average side unless you like Kina and there are few fish inshore but the visibility is good and boat fishing pretty phenomenal. The house is immaculate, spacious, warm and includes many things you would not expect from short term accommodation. We were even able to bake to cake! Barry's communication was top notch and they really went the extra mile to make sure we got the most enjoyment out of our trip. Hard to fault a thing. Thanks again- will definitely be back again- hopefully with a boat!!

Steve was a fantastic host—very responsive, helpful, and flexible with check-in and move-out times. The location was stunning! We had a private beach to ourselves all week, gorgeous views, and easy access to the longest footbridge in the Southern Hemisphere. The property also included two kayaks, which we used to explore the nearby rocks with incredible views and crystal-clear water. Our only hiccup was the lack of linens, but this was clearly stated in the Airbnb listing—we just missed it. I recommend reading the listing carefully, as towels and sheets are only provided for an additional charge. Also, nearly the entire house is carpeted, so be mindful with drinks. Overall, a great stay!

Thank you for sharing your space with us. My family of 5 stayed two nights, wish we had stayed a little longer. Beautiful views where we stayed in the caravan and tent. Affordable for our little family and had all the amenities we needed. Wonderful hosts and very accommodating to our needs. We will visit again. All the best! Fa'afetai tele lava. It is a fabulous place to stay for families and the additional equipment that they have for the families to use is amazing. The setting is glorious and outlook is stunning. The Bay its self is very safe for children to undertake water activities. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with additional options for linen because of the rainy weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in booking to stay again.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

This was the most lovely accommodation! It was clean, well-appointed, and had the most beautiful view of the Bay. Wendy communicated well, and provided easy instructions for entry into the car park, and from there, into the apartment. Our two night stay was extremely quiet, which we expected, given it's not the high season, yet there was still enough going on about town that we never wanted for something to do! The location was absolutely ideal, as all businesses were within very easy, close-in walking distance. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely look to return!

This is such a lovely place to stay. So central and easy to walk all around Piahia. Place was beautifully presented, beds were very comfortable. We had a great time and my girls were sad when it was time to go home.

This was such an incredible retreat spot! Very secluded, with one of the most breathtaking views of Te Ngaere Bay! Our favorite part was the open-air option to enjoy cooking & dining inside while being outside. Very clean, modern & incredible espresso machine to enjoy cappuccinos with the epic sunrise! We also found it nice to have your own trail down to the beach & private plunge pool. Be prepared for a climb back up for some good exercise! Worth it… especially when you can take a nice cold (or hot) outdoor shower! Great communication & care from Kas & Rhys- they are awesome hosts!

Wow, we have truly enjoyed staying at Clive’s beautiful home, located on a gorgeous beach. The location was phenomenal, steps away from the beach with amazing views of the water and sunsets. The home is equipped with all the necessities, very spacious yet cozy, the floor to ceiling windows provide the best views from the living room and kitchen. We are already looking forward to coming back, we had such a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jane and John’s Tui cottage. The cottage is beautiful and cozy, surrounded by peaceful nature and stunning views. Jane and John made us feel right at home, they were so friendly and responsive. We never had such amazing hosts before. We would definitely recommend a stay at Tui cottage!

Absolutely Beautiful place to spend a week. The home was very comfortable, and had everything we needed, and has a magnificent view. Jane and Dave are the perfect example of a good AirBnB host, very friendly, hospitable, helpful and keep their property in excellent condition.
