Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

Our chalet is located in a fantastic location of the 5* holiday park Kurenpolder-Hank. A wonderful relaxing holiday, or just nice and active? It's all possible on the Kurenpolder. At the park you will find an indoor pool with sauna, beach with play opportunities for the little ones, and a beautiful large lake, skate court, panna field, recreation team, climbing garden, shop and restaurant. A 30-minute drive away are De Efteling, Beekse Bergen and the beautiful cities of Den Bosch and Breda.

The Lake House is unique and soothing. Directly located on the Nieuwkoopse Plassen on 1500M2. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and cosy living room. Adjacent is the wardrobe with toilet and stairs to the top. A modernized (2019/20), very attractive holiday home (approx. 55 m²) located directly on the Elfhoeven lake in the Reeuwijkse Plassen area. You can enjoy walking, cycling and swimming here. The cottage has a dishwasher, oven, WiFi, air conditioning, electric fireplace, TV and extra long beds (210 cm). The spacious garden has lovely seating areas and a wide jetty. Corona Information: This private apartment is not occupied by us. After every rental it is thoroughly cleaned. Hand gel and disinfectant spray are provided. Own entrance, own kitchen. Beautifully situated on the edge of the Green heart. You can also sit in the garden. Leiden, Gouda, The Hague and Rotterdam are also accessible by bicycle. Plenty of delivery options for meals. The Reeuwijkse Plassen and its surroundings is a beautiful nature reserve. The view is breathtaking. The lakes are clean, so that you can swim wonderfully in open water. The cottage is new and equipped with every comfort, you can possibly bring the laundry to the hostess (not free) Parking is available near the studio free of charge. Pets are allowed to come, but may not walk loose at the nursery. It cost 10 euros per animal an additional cleaning fee.
