The Blue Cabin at Warden Lake

JoettaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of work, electronics and life. Here lies a retreat with books, puzzles, games, even coloring books for some artistic therapy if you choose to do so. The enclosed sun room with the comfortable seating as well as the outside deck made this the perfect getaway in nature. The attention to detail was appreciated in regards to the decor and the feel goods from the linens to the cleanliness of the cabin. You are close enough to explore things if you choose, or stay close to the cabin and cast a line. Jim sent messages in advance and was very responsive to messages sent. Definitely will be back to this hideaway in the woods.

Lovely mountain top cabin

CarrieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay here! We felt right at home in this lovely little cabin. It was especially wonderful to have our dogs welcome, with no hidden fees like so many other places do! The space was thoughtfully laid out, artfully decorated, and well provisioned! There were welcome extras like local meat for purchase in the freezer and a totally stocked pantry in case anything was forgotten. We plan to return!

"The Turtle" Romantic Luxury Cabin in Shenandoah

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Morry has been an excellent host and responsive with any questions we had! The cabin's location is so convenient! About 10 minutes drive to the nearest major retail grocery store / fast food chains and 15 minute drive into Luray's city center for additional options on cafes and restaurants. Nearest Shenandoah Entrance will be Thornton Gap Entrance (24 minutes). With everything in a reasonable vicinity, makes planning so much easier and allowed us more time to spend on trails/relaxing. The cabin itself is gorgeous and well equipped with needed amenities! The hot tub was a big hit after coming back from hiking and a great way to end the day with a good soak. Appreciate Morry for allowing us to stay at this beautiful cabin and can't wait to be back!

Sierra Farmstead - Guest House

Great stay at Sierra Farmstead. Very comfy beds (the full and queen); well lit, easy to navigate and great bathroom. Great jumping off point for exploring the natural beauty of the area. Hosts were responsive. Our pup was with us and also enjoyed!

The Stargazer - Private Lake Access- 4 bedrooms

AlexaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This house is on a nice quiet road with access to a lake. We stayed overnight for a work trip so didn’t do much in the area, but the WiFi is great for video calls and connecting if you need to - you’ll need it because there isn’t cell phone coverage in the local area.

The Hidden Tree

TraciRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We are from the area and being able to stay somewhere that is not a hotel or doesn’t feel like a hotel is extremely important for our autistic grandson. Very accommodating and pleasant stay! Only complaint is that the AC units did not keep it very cool in the apartment. We live in the south so we are use to the heat outside but would have enjoyed a little cooler inside. The bathroom stayed extremely hot when the door is closed. We have to keep bathrooms closed at all times due to our grandson and his attraction to water. Outside of that it was a great stay. Thank you for your hospitality

Kale's Cottage at Riverdale Farms

StephanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our second time at Rachelle’s cabin (with hopefully more stays in the future.) The cabin is nestled in a beautiful valley right on the river and the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of NoVa. It was unseasonably chilly and rainy but the cabin was warm and cozy and offered a great way to decompress and relax. We weren’t able to fish or wade in the river this year but had a great time playing cards, watching movies, and cooking on the gas grill right outside of our little cabin. Rachelle has impeccable taste and decorated in a way to offer an elegant atmosphere with little details which were not lost on us. The kitchen is fully functional with cookware & is stocked with snacks, tea, and coffee and the toiletries are a nice touch in case you forget your toothbrush, hairdryer or shampoo, etc. A really great spot for couples & families alike. We cant wait to be back! Highly recommend the Farmer’s Daughter butcher (just a few miles away) for a delicious burger & veggies!

Piney Mtn House

One of the best airbnb stays I’ve ever had! Erin and Quinn’s house was adorable and super clean- located five mins from town. It was my grandmother’s first airbnb experience ever and she thoroughly loved it!
