Deep Eddy Backyard Studio with Treetop Views

Look out on to oak trees from the high windows of this tranquil little studio, with its modern European ambience. Wood paneling and ceilings enrich the interior, along with a retro local poster. Play ping pong outside on the new steel table. The studio is tucked below two large oak trees which you can enjoy with the high windows throughout the studio.. The size of the studio is approx. 400 sq feet & is a very comfortable space. Great access to just about everything! Refrigerator, Microwave, small cook top & coffee maker available in the studio. We are available if needed! Wake up to a walk or run around the Hike & Bike Trail, just down the hill from the studio. On the way back, grab a smoothie at the Austin famous Juiceland. Spend the day cooling-off at Deep Eddy Pool or kayaking & paddle boarding along Lady Bird Lake. Wrap up the day with dinner at the hip Pool Burger, followed by a visit to one of the last standing original Austin dive bars, Deep Eddy Cabaret. You can walk, catch an Uber/Lyft or drive into downtown from our studio. If you like ping pong, enjoy some fun w/ the newly added outdoor steel ping pong table. We are licensed with the City of Austin to host Short Term Rentals. Airbnb collects the State of Texas Hotel Tax of 6% & we pay the City of Austin Hotel tax of 11%.

We can't say enough positive things about Thom and Glenn's place and our experience there. Everything was fantastic! The casita is just amazing inside and out. The grounds are beautiful and so nicely designed and maintained. The pool is fabulous with seating in and around, umbrellas to block the sun when needed. The inside of the casita is incredibly impressive. Gorgeously designed and maintained. It was immaculately clean and was clutter-free yet managed to contain every single item we needed. The attention to detail is obvious and striking. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and convenient to lots of restaurants and activities. The hosts were wonderful, so easy to contact with any questions and a joy to interact with. We cannot wait to return and can't imagine ever wanting to stay elsewhere in Austin. Elaine and Peter

Cute Cozy Casita {78704} South Austin Vibes

My daughter and I stayed here for 15 days while I recovered from cataract surgery. The place is exactly as it is described. Super comfortable and quiet too. The location is wonderful. If you are able to walk a mile or two, you can go to many different restaurants and stores, library and nature walks. If you don't want to walk, there are always electric scooters sitting around the neighborhood. The Barton Springs pool is just down the road and is free for Veterans. The owners live on the property but far enough away that I could have never interacted... but I did because they were awesome in every way. One caveat I should mention is that the shower is in a small closet just off the bedroom. The shower itself if big enough, but you cannot really get dressed in the shower room as there is no room for anything but the shower. If you are a bigger person, this place may not be suitable for you.

The space was exactly as described. Sonia and Justice were very responsive to all of our needs. What stood out most was that when we reached out regarding the HVAC not working on a Monday night at 8pm, this dynamic duo had solutions to us within the hour. We loved the city and loved where we stayed- we will definitely be back! Thanks for having us!
