Hut holiday rentals in River Wye

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Wow! What a wonderful stay me and my little family had. So beautiful, so peaceful, so gorgeous, so homely. Would defo recommend!!!!!! If you like rural stays this one is for you. Amazing! Thank you Tanya for giving us this amazing opportunity to make memories that we will treasure forever. ❤️

We loved our stay in the shepherd's hut. We wanted a peaceful escape surrounded by nature and it was exactly that. We were rained in for one day but it ended up being our favourite experience- the hut is so cosy, everything you need is to hand, and we could sit and watch the scenery for hours. On the sunnier days there is a short walk to the coast path and the views of the coastline. The toilet and shower is the perfect set up, we also loved the outside bath and the wood stove.

Amazing stay! The hut was exactly like the photos and just as described The thoughtful touches Prosecco milk cake hot chocolate and chocolate were lovely and really made us feel at home The hut was well appointed and everything had been well thought through and we did not want for anything The fact the washing up was done for you again added to the experience! The hot tub and view were beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather we made full use of the outdoor space Great recommendations on walks and places to eat! Thank you for a fantastic stay and being an amazing host- you went above and beyond!

A delightful and charming place to stop and relax. Everything was superb - the hut, its private garden, the thoughtful book selection, the bed linen which smelt of fresh air, the warm croissants and home made jams. Daisy the retriever, was the icing on the cake. Sarah and Frank are warm, available as needed but respectful of privacy.

This is our second trip here and it certainly wont be the last! We had the most amazing stay. The setting is perfect, the accommodation is perfect and the hosts are perfect! We even had 2 little dog friend's throughout our stay. Thank you so much and see you next time!

A lovely remote spot. Gorgeous view, sparkling clean inside and very comfy cosy bed. Would love to stay again!

Amazing place, beutifull surroundings. Pod is comfortable, unique experience for us ,we loved it. Although we had constant rain and wind we managed to make camp fire which was lovely(bring your own logs). We would love to come back in better weather to fully enjoy the place. Thank you Sian!

The cabin was absolutely amazing! Exceeded all expectations. It was a beautiful, peaceful location with amazing views. Amazing hot tub too! The hosts definitely thought of everything, kitchen was so well kitted out. Top tip, grab some food to keep you going from the shops in Abbergaveny on the way up!

What a beautiful little getaway! David and Jackie were fantastic hosts, friendly and responsive. The Meadow View Hut was situated in the perfect location, offering gorgeous views, sights of birds of prey and deer. The location was private, peaceful and exactly what you want to unwind to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for making this great place available!

Carol and her gorgeous hut were amazing, the place was spotless, had everything it said it did and Carol made it easy to find with her instructions. There were lovely things for us on arrival to make us comfortable and stocked. Surroundings were beautiful, hot tub was fabulous. It was all a really good stay! One day the weather was rubbish and another was glorious and the place was perfect for both those days so can’t fault it! Would 100% come again

Amazing place to stay in the Wye Valley. Absolute peace and quite in a lovely setting, surrounded by trees and lawn, private outdoor seating area. The shepherd's hut has everything you want, warm and cosy, outdoor BBQ and a lovely cosy bed. Breakfast on day one is also great. The host was super friendly and showed us round and we felt right at home. Faultless, would happily go back in an instant.

Helen and Brian were extremely helpful but respected our privacy! Accomadation was private, peaceful and exactly as described!

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. Lovely little hut in a beautiful place, overlooking the fields and rolling hills. Hut was spacious and had all we needed for a few days away. Super dog friendly with the fence having wire on it, especially for our 8 month old cocker spaniel who was very intrigued by the cows! Becky was also responsive and helpful when my clumsy partner 😂 accidentally broke a glass and she came and hand delivered another later that evening. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Had a wonderful stay. The location and hut are beautiful. Laura was very welcoming and the hut has everything you need. Plenty to do just a short drive away. I would advise anyone going in the warmer months, to take a fan, if you dont like sleeping with the window open. We will definitely return.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay! My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen better. Waking up to the stunning countryside views was incredibly peaceful and serene. Each day, we took short trips into Bath to explore the city, then returned to the calm and comfort of the countryside in the evening, it was the perfect balance. Laura was a wonderfully friendly and responsive host, ensuring everything was spotless for our arrival. She even left us some delicious local food, which made for the perfect breakfast on our first morning.

Arrived at 3pm check in, the road down there is a bit hectic but fine if you take it easy, my Fiesta managed it just fine. The Hut on the Hill was exactly like the pictures, inviting and cosy, and Mandy and David had gone out of their way to make personal touches such as fresh eggs, fresh bread and beautifully creamy fresh milk. Usually when Ben and I have gone to other locations with hot tubs the towels have been small and limited, but Mandy and David ensured there were large towels, and spare, and sliders too! Plus some beautiful towel dressing gowns. Mandy was very responsive and reassuring when I wanted to ensure we were parked in the right spot. The hot tub was already warm and easy to navigate, and we slept so well in the bed! The dog too enjoyed his freedom which was a major highlight for us. You can order food and wine from the hosts and if we'd stayed longer, we definitely would of. This place was beyond our expectations and would love to come back.

The Sheppard's hut was absolutely delightful. The location was perfect for a private, peaceful getaway. Not only was the space immaculate it was also very homely. I simply must come back.

Natalie, Ric and their lovely Pup was very welcoming! Even when raining we made ourselves right at home and enjoyed some peace !!
