We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was awesome, and the property was spotless. Had a couple of teething issues, but nothing to write badly about and was dealt with VERY QUICKLY by the host even though they were overseas. I will definitely stay here again.

Mews Cottage | Aberdovey | 2 Bedrooms | Sleeps 4

MandyRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Just had a few days at Mews Cottage, Aberdovey. We totally switched off and immersed ourselves in this lovely tranquil cottage opposite the estuary/sea. There are two poang chairs in front of a large window with beautiful views, I had my binoculars which are a bonus, the bird life although not too varied is lovely to watch. The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious and very warm. We cannot wait to return. Aberdovey is a great place for a short break or maybe longer if you fancy :)

Reabrook Treasure - a bungalow by the Brook

MaureenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This house is called Treasure and a Treasure it is.Looking out the back to the woodland and hearing birds all the time was so lovely. Breakfast that was supplied was plentiful and lots of choice. Everything beautifully clean, very comfortable, plenty of space and just so relaxing. The little extras such as the " gift shop" were a bonus and such a wonderful idea. We were only there for 3 days to visit National Trust places but would have been just as happy sitting doing nothing if we'd had longer. We hope to return one day and would highly recommend Treasure to anyone looking to stay in that area.

Chequers Cotswold Cottage

LouiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Phil went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at chequers, checking that we had all we needed upon arrival and being responsive when asked a question. As a family of five, we found there was something for all at the house and really enjoyed our time there. If anything, it went too quick! The view is amazing and the cows are so friendly, running around in the field and always coming up to greet us at the fence. Can totally recommend the Plough Inn for a cream tea or the Pheasant Inn restaurant for dinner. We are gutted that we ran out of time to try the Ye hobnails-heard great things from the locals about that too! We finished the holiday with roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, a perfect end to a perfect stay. Thanks Phil.

The Shack- Quirky & Coastal ( nr cliff-top path)

The Shack was the cutest place I have ever stayed. Helen was a wonderful host and there were so many personal touches like the gratitude box full of snacks to the welcome welsh cakes. Would recommend this place.

Worcestershire Home in an orchard.

DanaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Judith's place is why we use Airbnb and not a boring and small hotel. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in and she even left us some items to have for breakfast which we appreciated. The surrounding area was very peaceful and a short walk into the village. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had great water pressure. We also appreciated off street parking right outside our door. Judith was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We highly recommend and would love to come back some day.

Harebell: homely hideaway

SueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I stayed for a month in Harebell Cottage, along with the two dogs. It had everything you need for a long stay, with laundry facilities on site, and a beautiful view from the garden. We had great weather for the most part, and there are some lovely walks from the farm, as well as a very short drive to the Forest of Dean, that has free parking at most of the trail heads. Everything worked the way it should, and if we had any questions, Kate or Alison were ready with answers. We got food delivery from both Tesco and Sainsbury's with no problem, and had Amazon deliveries that got to us easily. We used the grill outside quite a bit, and lit the fire inside on one drizzly day, which warmed the whole place really quickly. The Farm had friendly dogs, cats, goats and sheep (and the cutest lambs), a games room, and an information room with fire supplies, sheep/goat feed, and lots of information on the surrounding areas. We had a great time, and are looking forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful and there was plenty to do for the children outdoors we enjoyed our walks around the farm. The children particularly enjoyed playing in the stream. It was very relaxing as we did not feel the need to leave the area with there being plenty to do. The information provided by the hosts was very helpful. Thanks again.
