Cottage holiday rentals in River Thames

had such a lovely stay at the little cottage. great spot to just relax and be in a secluded little sun trap away from any hustle and bustle. hot tub was perfection, garden is just perfect to sit and read our books and have some drinks, kitchen was easy to use and got the job done for cooking, shower was nice and hot and good pressure (sounds silly but i think the shower is always worth a mention!) bed was so comfy, best we’ve slept in weeks! really appreciate the sky box being included, great value for money here. big thanks to Lorraine!

Jenna was so friendly and always on hand if needed. The annex was beautiful. The bed was really comfy and we took advantage of the hot tub which was so relaxing. I had some family visit and they thought it was beautiful and will stay when they come down to visit again. Had some lovely meals in the village pub

What a wonderful and truly beautiful home. Was a pleasure to stay in this serene countryside hotspot with a tree house, playground, incredible private lake and surrounding natural beauty. Very special. Can’t recommend enough!

The White Cottage is a truly magical experience, and combined with Sally’s as the perfect host, we came away from our short break with memories that will last a lifetime. The location is breathtakingly peaceful. A garden within a garden set in landscape where time has good still. The stream that runs through garden is a playground for wildlife and you’ll be sharing your breakfast with ducks and moorhens. If you want a break oozing peace and quiet, a chance to unwind, and forget the day to day life the white cottage has it spades. Sally is a delightful host. Nothing is too much trouble. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We loved it

We just had a wonderful long weekend in Wherwell in Rob & Sue’s beautiful cottage. Such a stunning village, the cottage exceeded our expectations, Rob & Sue were fantastic hosts & the breakfast pack was great. We finished the weekend with a lovely soak in the hot tub. Thank you Rob for the lift on the Saturday & your kindness.

wow what a find, the main attraction for us was the peaceful setting, the open views from the decking area was beautiful, I'm the worst person for relaxing, believe me I relaxed, the swimming pool and hot tub was gorgeous, definitely going to go back, great hosts, great accommodation, beautiful location. My friends and I enjoyed a peaceful couple of nights in Jean and Kieth's beautiful cottage. Keith was friendly and helpful with clear instructions. the cottage is gorgeous and the garden is lovely! I would definitely stay there again.

From start to finish, this place is an absolute dream. So peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect little weekend getaway. The house and surroundings were absolutely spotless, the ducks were adorable, and the attention to detail with providing extras needed for comfort was superb. Clare was a fantastic host. Always responsive but never intrusive. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few days or more with your partner - or just on your own - where you can recharge your batteries, this is it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fancy Cottage in Kew. Suzanne's cottage was close to Kew Gardens and just steps to the Thames Path as advertised. We enjoyed having our coffee in the sunny breakfast area or eating in after a day of activities. Bedrooms were good sized and it was great having two bathrooms. Easy walk to nice restaurants in Kew. Easy access to Richmond and London by bus or tube. Overall, very peaceful place to stay and enjoy Kew with easy access to all London has to offer.

What a beautiful little place to stay. Felt just like home away from home. Very roomy & lovely & clean. Lovely little touches fresh flowers & a bottle of wine on arrival was a nice surprise. Would stay again if back in the area.

We were thrilled to be welcomed into Caroline's gorgeous cottage. It had everything we could need plus more and exceeded our expectations compared to the photos. Caroline couldnt be more helpful and was a delight to meet. Thoughtful touches throughout the house made it such a special stay - including a fresh-baked loaf of bread, butter, home made marmalade and a delicious jam and cream sponge cake. Plus we had the joy of seeing the wysteria starting to bloom. Charming in every way. We would definitely stay again given the chance.

Beautiful place with lots of attention to detail. Very peaceful and we loved the local walks listed. We were sad to leave. It did get warm out while we were there and I worried about no ac but it stayed comfortable the whole time.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. We had such a lovely stay at the Little Cottage in Chipping Norton. This was our first time in the Cotswolds and I am happy we chose this accommodation. This beautiful cottage looks even better in person. The rustic aesthetic makes every room feel so cosy and warm, the owners have really made an effort to give this cottage the countryside charm. Overall, the cottage was very clean and it had all the amenities listed in the description, the Cowshed hand wash and cream has a gorgeous smell. The idyllic location is not a far driving distance from the village Chipping Norton and there is on street parking outside the cottage. Thank you Will & Amy for letting us stay!

This was our second stay at one of Elliot’s Airbnbs, and once again, it was a great experience. Elliot is a fantastic host, professional, helpful, and very understanding. The house has a warm, positive vibe and was spotless on arrival. He had kindly kept essentials like milk, bread, and more, which was a thoughtful touch, especially appreciated by our 10-year-old son. The nearby restaurant is lovely too. Overall, a really comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here, the cottage was really clean with everything you could need including lovely toiletries/soap/hand creams, a well equipped kitchen and tennis rackets for the court outside. It was located in a really peaceful area, with easy access to paths straight from the cottage. Lots of choice of places to eat nearby . The outside space was great, our children loved having a go on the tennis court and we even saw a deer in the garden! Georgie was quick to respond to pur questions, helpful and offered flexibility around check in/out. we would definitely come back!

The Coach House was everything we expected and more. Such a lovely little property, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Personal meet and greet from Gaby on arrival was just right. Only a few minutes walk to a nice pub serving lovely food, closer to home was a Chinese/fish & chip shop, this too was enjoyable for a quick meal. Location was nice and quiet and perfect for the exploring we had planned whilst in the area. One to remember and return to in the future.

Imagine “The Holiday” vibes— so cute! So cozy! Right next to an old church and even has a fun hike to an old Roman Villa built in 300 A.D. that you can check out and be amongst the pastoral countryside of England! So quaint and cute and I loved that it was a great location to do the North Cotswold area And the south end…. So it was a little bit in the middle of both and perfect! So peaceful, so beautiful and the beds weren’t too bad either! Big bonus was the parking was plenty and still private !

I and my guests absolutely loved our stay at Rosamund’s property. The property was a great place to enjoy slow mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the quiet of the village, and the cosy fireplace. We found the location to be a great base to explore the rest of the Cotswolds by foot and car. There are some great attractions both local and a little further out. Rosamund greeted us on our first night and gave us some amazing recommendations to avoid tourists traps. Outside of that first meeting we had complete privacy to enjoy the property - not that we wouldn’t have loved to bump into Ros again! I’d absolutely love to go back and stay again. I hope I will!

This precious cottage in Kingham was the perfect location for us to make day trips around the Cotswolds. We would come home to the warmth of this home and the TV allowed us to broadcast from my cell phone to watch a good British mystery before we went to bed! We love the town! We had dinner at the wild rabbit and it was fabulous….Daylesford Farm is just over a mile away and we visited it three times!! we also went to the Fox in lower Oddington which was again absolutely delicious! One of our favorite things we did in the morning that we were leaving was visit the Parrish Church coming into town. What a treasure this Airbnb was for our trip!

Super stay at Rose Cottage! Located on a beautiful peaceful farm, yet just 1 minute from an excellent pub and great villages. A great base for our Surrey hills adventure! Colette was an excellent, responsive and helpful host! The cottage was immaculately clean and well stocked! Colette kindly brought us over some farm eggs and introduced us to her lambs! It was a delightful week. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Pamela’s place in the Cotswolds! The house was perfect for our family of four – cozy, well-maintained, and in a beautiful setting. Pamela was an incredibly helpful and sweet host, always ready with tips and suggestions to make our trip smoother. The only small suggestion would be that breakfast could have been a little more elaborate, but Pamela’s warmth and hospitality more than made up for it. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend her place for a peaceful family getaway!

My mother and I were visiting to celebrate her retirement and were so happy we stayed at Rose End Cottage! The space was super clean and adorable completed with the sweet smelling roses climbing up the front wall! I appreciated all of the clear instructions and the helpful materials in the cottage (eg local recommendations). We had a wonderful visit!
