Beachfront holiday rentals in River Thames

-the cottage is exactly like what is shown in the pictures. - it is first time for me to stay in this kind of cottage, its a bit historic and interesting -the different rooms are on different floors, so expect flights of stairs, it is also communicated, so fine with us. -the location is between two towns (st leonard and hasting old town), it is easy walk to Hasting old town -the place is lovely, I would recommend it

Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

I booked this Airbnb Based on the excellent reviews and they are all 100% accurate. Just a fantastic place to stay. Right in the middle of the action. Fantastic host who was very responsive. Gorgeous bright flat. As everyone said - everything works well and easy to cook. Lovely comfy bed and no noise in apartment. We would not stay anywhere else if returning to Hastings.

Stayed with my adult daughter and my maltese terrier fifi from Thursday to Sunday last week .. two min walk to old town which was buzzing with bars , pubs n restaurants .. lots dog friendly too .. the bakery 2 shops away from the gallery was to die for .. Jane kindly left a bottle of wine , milk and croissants which was such a nice touch .. we had beautiful weather too which was a bonus !! Thankyou Jane for a truley wonderful stay in your gallery garden flat we loved it and the lil courtyard garden was lovely in the mornings having coffee outside .. honestly too many positives to mention !! Such a fabulous cottage in Old Leigh, nice interior, comfy beds, little sitting out area, close to shops. We would definitely return.

The perfect stay in Hastings Old Town. Located down a quiet alley way which led out to a characterful little street with two delicious bakeries. Close to all the best antique shops and the most ideal spot to start a lovely walk into Hastings Country Park. Helen was very responsive and let us check in early, as well as providing the nicest fresh loaf of bread, eggs and apple juice. Will definitely be coming back!

Firstly Ed and Victoria are wonderful hosts! They never intruded on our privacy or time, but were always available when we needed them. They provided us with extra little commodities to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible and went out of there way to give us a great stay. We stayed for 6 months and it really felt like a home from home, the flat was bigger than expected with two comfy sofas and big very comfortable bed. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need and they provide an excellent laundry service as well. The best thing about this stay is the location though! less than 5 mins walk to the Town center, Beach and Train station. You could not ask for a better location to explore and enjoy everything Hastings has to offer, and Hastings has a lot to offer from almost weekly festivals and events to live music on the pier every weekend a lot of which is free to enjoy! The beach is large and never too busy, there are loads of great pubs especially in old town which is full or lovely little shops, restaurants and cafes as well. Plus all the typical seaside attractions such as arcades, mini golf and a funfair. Me and my girlfriend loved our stay here at Ed and Victoria's place and would recommend it to anyone.

Really nice place. Loads of space over the 3 levels. Master bedroom particularly nice. Really convenient for the beach. The Pilot was great for fish and chips, as recommended. Lisa very quick with responses when needed. Thanks.

Karolina’s place is in a beautiful part of Hastings, centrally located and just a short walk from the beach. Each room was gorgeously decorated and homey. She was also very accomodating about letting us in earlier than check in. Our cat Benny came with us on his first trip away from home and loved it too!

Hovercraft house ( waterside house) was in a great location, and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Views from the rear of the house were great, we liked to watch the cruise liners etc coming and going. And in a lovely housing estate We had an issue with the fire alarm going off and Tina was very helpful.

Charming cottage right in the middle of Hastings town centre and couldn’t be closer to the beach. Our two boys loved it and there were even some toys in one of the rooms and children’s books. Check in was flexible as we arrived a little early. Thank you so much for a great stay!

My stay was very pleasant. Muhammad was extremely kind and cordial, he waited for our arrival scheduled in the early hours of the morning, despite our flight being delayed by more than an hour, always available for any need. The apartment is impeccable, clean, tidy and equipped with every comfort, from the provision of electrical outlets to books for visiting London. In addition, the location is perfect, with all amenities at your fingertips and excellent bus and metro connections. I highly recommend this place and would definitely be happy to come back.

The stay at marine cottage was perfect. The hosts sent a message to let us know when the house was ready which we very much appreciated as it allowed us to plan our journey & also we were actually able to get inside the property an hour earlier than check in which was very helpful, especially with children. The property was cleaned well, clean linen & towels were provided. the kitchen had all we needed, including dish washer tablets & washing up liquid. Handwash was left in both bathrooms which was great. Leanne's communication was fab, she responded very quickly to my messages prior to the stay & also I had to contact her whilst we were there- she was very helpful friendly. The only negative was the fact there were no bins in any of the rooms. A small wastepaper bin would have been helpful to have - especially in the bathrooms as there was nowhere to put any rubbish. There also was a slight leak which happened on the last day in the kitchen coming from the shower above.

We head down to the Sussex coast for a family weekend. It was built around a gift of a visit to Tillingham winery. Castle Fort matched our expectations perfectly…. Sea views and sounds, huge open planning living area, very appointed…. A home from home by the sea It was practically perfect. We had one small hiccup. I think we were the first guests for quite a while and the water system pressure was low, which challenged us on the first night but Georgina stepped up and we solved the problem This is a perfect spot if you want to explore the delights of Rye, what a find Very comfortable with everything you could ever want in a holiday let Definitely will return

Amazing place right on the beach - fun driving through the sunbathers to the house which was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

Superb house with an unbeatable view on the beach and sea. Very good floorplan with entrance/utility/storage on ground floor without a view, bedrooms on middle level and kitchen/dining/living area on the top floor with the view. Georgina was a great host, very responsive and the welcome basket was a hit! It was a great stay for 4 adults, two children and a dog, with plenty of space and the amazing ease of getting to the beach in seconds.

Comfortable cottage by the sea provided lovely relaxing break In beautiful location. Visits to Hasting, Rye, Camber, Dymchurch and Fairlight, close by, made the holiday complete. Well recommended.

Brilliant time had in this lovely home! Looking forward to going back!
