Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in River Thames

We spent 3 and a half weeks in this lovely apartment during our trip to London. The apartment was in an excellent and vibrant location with easy access to transportation to all areas of London. It was a good size and very private. The balcony was a treat-we were able to watch the VE Day flyover from there. A great range of food outlets were close by. Communication was excellent throughout with prompt replies to any queries. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a pleasant time in London.

This is a fantastic place to stay and a great host. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I felt comfortable there with my young kids. Easy access to all forms of public transportation, but if you have the stamina you can walk to many of the things you want to see in London (for example, we walked home from the British Museum after a full day). The hosts had the sofa bed already made for us when we arrived, which made things very easy to manage. The combo washer-dryer worked well and was a big help because it meant we were able to turn over laundry faster than planned. There are some little quirks of English bathrooms I will never understand like the half exposed shower area, but in my experience that is fairly standard in this area. Lots of small touches from the host that made the stay very pleasant such as a fully stocked coffee maker and some treats along with helpful laminated guides. The whole place was great for our family. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was luxurious, spacious, and very well appointed, and we loved it. Close to public transport, shops, restaurants and cafes. The close proximity to the canal was fabulous. This enabled easy access to Angel, Islington, and greater London. We felt very safe in this area. We hope that it's available the next time we are in London, we couldn't fault it. Freddy was a great host. We felt very much at home.

Extraordinario departamento, en verdad una joya con un estilo único y particular, lleno de arte, y una decoración auténtica. En el corazón de londres, en una zona residencial de gran nivel, excelentes vecinos, y muy cerca de Holland park, de excelentes supermercados y restaurantes. Tuve un problema personal y tuve que salir con anticipación pero Megan fue excelente en la comunicación y atención. altamente recomendado, si quieres pasar una experiencia única y agradable en Londres.

I had a fantastic stay here. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect, close to shopping centers, shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Hôtes très réactifs, instructions claires, accueil parfait. Le logement se situe en "basement" (sous-sol), très fréquent à Londres ce qui le rend peu lumineux. La salle de bain est humide malgré une petite fenêtre qu'on ne peut pas laisser ouverte car cela donne sur un "puit de lumière" où les pigeons y ont élu domicile (j'avais peur qu'ils rentrent). Mais nous y avons passé peu de temps nous n'y étions que pour dormir. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Logement propre et très bien équipé. J'avais peur que cela soit bruyant car un couloir mène à 2 autres logements similaires mais les hôtes étaient calmes. On rentre par la chambre (qui est grande), une table d'appoint y était disposée pour prendre les repas car le canapé convertible était ouvert dans le salon/cuisine. Le logement est parfaitement situé, avec un grand nombre de restaurants, pubs, supérettes juste à côté ainsi que le métro à 2min à pied (West Kensington) et moins de 10min à pied pour Barons Court.

The apartment was great and just as described. The area is fantastic, close to public transport and easy walking to attractions and amenities. Benoit was very prompt on all communication and made our stay very easy. Was very thoughtful knowing we had 3 people to have the living room bed made up and ready. Would happily recommend!

My friends and I had a great stay at the Old School House. The building has a cosy atmosphere and there are lots of nice touches which make it feel special. The homemade cake was delicious! Comfortable beds, electric charging point and lovely walks nearby. We visited Bletchley during our stay and also had a fantastic meal at Ole in town. Thank you for a lovely few days.

Extremely well equipped house. Lovely and clean. Garden beautifully planted. On a fairly busy road but nice view at the back of the house and garden across the river and footpath to fields. Box of biscuits, milk, bottle of fizz etc. waiting for our arrival. Lots of nice spaces to sit around large tables both inside and out. As a group of 7 friends we found it worked perfectly.

We have stayed at Maggie's once before and found it ideal for our family's needs as the property is ideal for my elderly mum. Definitely hope to go back again.

Perfect Weekend Stay in Central Henley We stayed for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a group of six, and this place was perfect for our weekend in Henley. The home is beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The location is excellent, right in the centre of town, just a short walk to the river, shops, and restaurants, but still quiet enough at night for a good night’s sleep. Check-in was easy, and the host was helpful and responsive throughout. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time we’re in Henley.

the home is beautiful, super quiet, and in a great location nearby portobello road but not in the thick of it. marina was a top tier host who provided lots of specific details on the home + things to do, extras and even offered mid-week cleaning. the beds are super comfortable and with the 2 floors it gives everyone room to spread out. would highly recommend this place!

A fantastic place to stay, light and roomy and airy with everything we needed. Great location for where we were working and lovely space to spend time in when we weren't. The garden is gorgeous.

Really nice place, easy to find and very clean spacious. Parking a bit of a pain but nothing too bad. Hosts very helpful and very quick to respond when I had a slight problem with the key. Needed to be near the hospital and would definitely book here again if the need arises.

Davide was kind and approachable both before and during our stay. Instructions on basic functions of the apartment were clear and concise. The place was sparkly clean and exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Das Zimmer, das Phyllis anbietet, befindet sich in ihrer Privatwohnung, hat aber ein eigenes Bad. Sehr angenehm. Sie befindet sich zwischen Trafalgar Square und dem Themse-Ufer (Embankment) - zentraler geht's kaum. Trotzdem ruhig gelegen! Phyllis ist eine überaus interessante, sehr agile, engagierte und weit gereiste Frau. Das Frühstück mussten wir zwar selbst zubereiten, aber sie stellte alles zur Verfügung, was das Herz begehrte. Für unsere Ausflüge gab sie uns jede Menge Informationen und hilfreiche Tipps. Alles in allem ein wundervoller Aufenthalt bei der besten Gastgeberin, die man sich in einer fremden Stadt nur wünschen kann!

A stunning spacious flat in an ideal location within walking distance of the City and set in a beautiful neighbourhood in Angel with close access to shops and supermarkets. Alex is a very helpful and responsive host. The flat is quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed the space. We would highly recommend.

Bright, sunny rooms with high ceilings, in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the Swiss Cottage Tube station. Kitchen was well stocked, with a few types of tea and coffee, plus a Nespresso machine and an abundance of pods. And, if you enjoy reading, you've come to the right place - there were books everywhere, in every room. Timing worked out in our favour, too: we stayed in early April, when cherry blossom was in full swing right outside the windows. Host Christopher gave detailed instructions making the check-in/check-out process a breeze. We liked this place so much, we bookmarked its Airbnb page for easy reference for our future London trips.

Just across the road from the US Embassy. Safe neighborhood with 2 Underground stations within 10 min walk either way. Bus stop right at the front door. Typically a 15-20 min ride to major attractions. Battersea Power Plant has an amazing choice of shops and restaurants, with apartments on the top floors. Neighborhood is mainly young couples and families in an upscale area. Would stay here again!

This is a great location with shops and restaurants nearby. We loved the Abbeville pub. Mark was there when we arrived, finishing up cleaning. He was able to show us many helpful things about the place. The only thing I would mention (particularly to Americans!), is that it is not the type of air conditioning we are used to. We were quite comfortable, though. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - even has a portable ice maker! The beds and linens were comfy, and we enjoyed our stay. Mark had some food supplies to get us started, snacks and beautiful flowers. He is a very considerate host. Thank you, Mark, for our stay. This, was a stay with my husband and I (in our 70's), our 52 year old son, and 18 year old granddaughter, and we all felt like we had our own spaces.

I was given a first flat which was not what I really needed. I requested for a different flat and I was given a fantastic 2 bed flat. Communication was great and prompt.
