Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in River Tees

This is the third stay we’ve had here. Great location, close to everything you need. Room is always clean and tidy. Perfect for a night stay over in Newcastle.

What a find! We were in market town of Helmsley (15min drive away) for spa day for partners big birthday & know Howardian Hills area well ie nearby Coxwold / Ampleforth. Not many Airbnb around area & last min getaway so plumped for this. Loved cosy cottage with massive king bed, fresh linen, lovely sunny patio doors looking onto private bit of lawned slope. Well equipped kitchen for bit of self catering. Fab to have use pool, hot tub, tennis courts, putting, small gym room, although we didn’t use as short stay. Most of all we were enchanted by magnificent grand grounds / garden you can wander freely - magnolia tree in bloom, high hedges, Georgian folly, woodland paths, a brook lined with wild garlic / primrose, little bridges, more sun loungers across the stream. Had this idyllic sunny April weather too. Only big improvement would be to get comfier sofa & armchair as had too firm cushions and was v hard to relax in them for long. Thanks lovely hidden North Yorks getaway!

Steve was absolutely fantastic—genuinely kind, incredibly helpful, and wonderfully flexible. He went out of his way to accommodate every request. Communication was always smooth, clear, and prompt, which made the whole experience feel effortless. We truly appreciate his support and highly recommend him!

Always clean when I stay here it will always be my first choice when I visit Newcastle! I would recommend to any especially for location, not far from Central station if you are travelling by train & good parking facilities if you drive

This was my 2nd Stay at Bryson Court and my first - long-term stay. Compared to other Alternative AirBnB options in the area, Bryson provides a superior option during its AirBnB offering period. What impressed me the most was the Staff - from the front desk staff to people cleaning the rooms - the experience I had in communication and general engagement with requests was first class. River View Cottage is in a peaceful setting, perfectly located for walking into the town, with beautiful riverside walks on your doorstep and the added bonus of parking outside the property. The cottage itself is tastefully furnished, very comfortable and well equipped with gorgeous river views from both the living areas and the bedrooms, the balcony is a real treat. This is a gem of a cottage and we would highly recommend it.

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

Great property, good base for visiting family nearby

The cottage is decorated beautifully and feels very cosy. The beds are comfortable and I slept really well! The garden looks different to the photos with a new bench seating area and the pergola removed but is lovely, very secure for the dogs! The cottage is at the very front of a holiday park, next to a children’s play park, car park and cafe (Though you can’t hear this from inside at all). This backs onto a countryside and woodland walks where dogs can be off lead. There is everything you need for a stay with a fully kitted out kitchen. The cottage is completely electric with a prepaid meter. I had 3 nights (fri-mon) and £50 added. Any further use would have incurred a cost. I found a big Tesco within less than a 10 minute drive. It was peaceful and cosy and we had a good time would definitely recommend!

Craig's house was an amazing place for three different groups from my family to come together from around the UK for a few days. House is stunning, is much bigger than it looks in the pics! It was super clean and comfortable. Check in was straightforward and Craig was quick to respond to questions. Has everything you might need and more. The perfect place to stay in that part of the north east. Would absolutely book again.

a wonderful place, with good amenities in a lovely setting. it is evident that Louise is proud of the place and takes it very seriously. we only had to ask for her help once and she was super responsive. this is a great location. from which to discover the North East. made a very pleasant homecoming for me and a lovely base for my family.
