Perfect location in the country side. Easy to drive to Stowmarket. Plus good train links if you didn’t want to drive to Bury St Edmund. Accommodation modern and very clean. Loved the bird song in the back garden over a cup of tea. Highly recommend.

Lovely accommodation. Very rustic and would suit most who like a bohemian lifestyle. We enjoyed our stay, although the uneven floors and steep stairs to the top bedroom presented a challenge. We arrived very late, in the dark, and although we had a little difficulty finding the property, Kate was very helpful, and we found our way. Overall, a great stay.

A lovely cabin in a beautiful setting with chickens and ducks all around. We loved playing cricket and the kids had a great time in the woods. The cabin itself was lovely - spacious and had everything you needed. The fresh bread and eggs was a lovely touch too. We struggled a little bit with streaming videos with the Wi-Fi - but otherwise a fabulous place. I’d recommend dinner at the Bell Inn down the road - dog friendly and lovely homemade food!

Andy was a fantastic host and gave clear instructions on getting to the location and how to get in. The replies were also quick when I had questions to ask on the day and thankfully Andy was there to respond quickly. The house was in good condition and was clean and tidy ready for mine and my partner’s arrival. I and my partner had a lovely time and was a well needed break, there were also plenty of animals around the location which made it even better for us to watch them. Would recommend to anyone needing a little peaceful getaway for those who also love nature.

We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

This is a lovely quaint old cottage in peaceful surroundings. Very dog-friendly garden, the cottage was very clean, and surrounded by countryside walks.

We had a wonderful stay at ‘The Old Piggery’. The view is absolutely amazing and the surrounding nature so peaceful. The house itself is very homey and ideal for kids. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful few days at The Cowshed. It was beautifully finished and extremely well kitted out with everything we could possibly need including fresh eggs and bread and treats, bowl/bed for our dog which was a lovely touch. There was a large secure garden with gorgeous views of the sunset and passing deer and lots of nice walks from the property. Nicola was incredibly responsive, helpful with recommendations of local places to visit and even first aid advice/supplies when our dog cut himself on a walk! I would definitely recommend this spot if you want to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet!

We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

A beautiful little home to stay in which was perfect for our needs whilst working in the area, so much so we have decided to book the property for another week.

Judith was the most attentive host. Answering questions in a jiffy and nothing was too much trouble. My daughter and I are vegan and Judith went to the effort of getting us some vegan treats which was hugely appreciated. Everything was catered for. There was a tent pitched next to us and it had lovely neighbours in. The only shame was that we couldn’t pet the horses. They are beautiful. We especially loved all of the flowers potted around the area. Thank you ☺️

Peaceful stay at this lovely very large house. Kids were well catered for with the games room and big garden with swings. Everything with spotless and Catherine was so helpful. We loved it

Sara’s place is honestly a hidden gem. It is the perfect retreat for a peaceful relaxing stay. The accommodation is great, comfortable beds, top notch bathroom facilities and the kitchen is very well stocked. There are basics in the kitchen but I would recommend taking some oil, seasonings as we have to pop out for these when we got there. The garden is perfect for your pup to have a run around and is well enclosed so no escaping. I have saved Sara’s place as planning to head back there with my mum hopefully this year! It felt like a home away from home.

Thank you for our stay on your beautiful property. It felt so homely and so peaceful. For our 8 year old the highlight was the release of the ducklings, for my husband it was the crops 😂 The little goodies available were certainly appreciated and a lovely touch, especially after the 17.5hr flight we had just gotten off! There aren’t enough stars to give this property! Immediately on arrival you feel at home. Such a peaceful and beautiful location cut off from everything yet you still feel like you have everything you could possibly need (and things you didn’t even think you’d need, including a little ramp for small doggies to get up the steps to the hut!) We came here for our dog’s first Birthday and for a relaxing weekend away just us three. We booked in January but Stu and Bev still remember why we’d booked and we arrived to a homemade Birthday card and Happy Birthday bunting for our dog. The welcome hamper was so thoughtful and the brownies were delicious! There were so many other thoughtful touches throughout the whole property like milk and juice in the fridge and amazing smelling toiletries that made this a home from home. You can really tell Stu and Bev know what “dog friendly” actually means and two nights was not enough to enjoy this gorgeous location and we will most certainly be back!!

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Amanda’s place. The location is perfect for exploring the local area on foot and trips out in the car. We had nice meals at both the local pubs, they are both within easy walking distance. Amanda’s place is perfect, very clean and full of character. We love Suffolk and have now found a great place to stay on future visits.

Back from an amazing weekend stay at the Cowshed. The accommodation was spotless, lovely welcome basket on arrival and a well stocked kitchen if you are looking to cook in. Used as a base to explore on the bikes and was perfect in every way. Bath a lovely touch after a long cycle ride! Rebecca was very responsive to answer questions and would 100% recommend to others. Located in a beautiful part of the world.

Easily one of the best AirBnBs I have stayed at. The lodge was so well equipped, there was nothing more you could ask for. The place was kept very clean. Plenty of utensils for a BBQ and even kindling/logs for the firepit. Beyond this, Richard responded promptly to communication and truly went above and beyond. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend.

Had a great few days’ stay in Annetta’s house – loved the character of the place and surrounding gardens. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Annetta is extremely friendly and helpful and her contact beforehand was very good. Nice touches include the hot tub and breakfast bits in the fridge. This is an ideal location to relax and explore the coast and inland. I would definitely recommend and intend to return to explore more of the area. Many thanks!

We had the most magical stay at this stunning countryside home for a bachelorette celebration, hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in! The house is beautifully designed, warm, and had everything we could’ve needed and more. Set in the most picturesque spot, with rolling field views full of yellow flowers, it truly felt like the ultimate countryside escape. The open-plan kitchen and living area was perfect for our intimate dinner party, spacious yet cosy, and ideal for gathering as a group. Each bedroom had its own charm and was so comfortable and inviting. Outside, the garden was just as beautiful, and the hot tub was a total highlight! The attention to detail throughout the property made it feel really special, and the overall experience felt both luxurious and homely. Communication with the host was seamless and so helpful from start to finish. We’re already dreaming about our return!

The cottage was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and well equipped. I think it was even better than the photos! Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The garden was lovely to sit in and secure for my dog. Nick advised us on the quieter dog walks and we had some lovely walks in the countryside and along the river, with some stunning views. I found that all the dog walkers I met were very considerate and put their dogs on leads even before they realised that mine was reactive. This made the walks much more relaxed than usual. Whilst I didn’t use my car all weekend, as it was just me and my dog, along with the walks there are many things to see and do in this area. I would love to come back with my husband and explore it further. I would definitely recommend the cottage.
