We had a lovely stay. House was as described, clean and had all the things we needed. Would recommend to friends and family.

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

Loved the accommodation there is a big step from the veranda so be careful it was so nice to get in from a busy day sightseeing and jump in the hot tub.

A fabulous, well equipped home with a great view and visiting wildlife - pheasants, hares and swallows. Easy walking distance to Suffolk Barn for our family wedding and short drive to Bury St Edmunds. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and calming colour scheme. Extremely well equipped kitchen and generous welcome provisions made it easy to feel straight at home. We would love to come back to explore the local area and spend more time taking in the view and relaxing in the tub. Thank you to our hosts who were so accommodating and welcoming.

An absolute gem, only minutes from Cambridge & the IWM Duxford. We used one if the nearby ParknRides to go into Central Cambridge, great idea, easy use. David was a great host, discrete, helpful & responsive. Clock Cottage was comfy & well stocked. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.

Peaceful stay at this lovely very large house. Kids were well catered for with the games room and big garden with swings. Everything with spotless and Catherine was so helpful. We loved it

First of all, and this is not a negative in any shape or form, if you're 5'11" or taller (I am), and are a bear of little brain (I am), take a padded hat. Befitting of a property of this age, the ceilings and doorways in some areas are a little low. My wife had no issues at all. Its a beautiful property in a ridiculously good location - with a parking space - whats not to like. The world famous Company Shed is minutes away and there is a very good pizza place just round the corner as well. The house itself has a lovely multi-level feel and there is plenty of space for up to 5 adults I would suggest, with one bedroom on the ground floor for those not liking stairs. Unusual for a cottage of this age. The garden is superb, totally secure - our two small dogs loved it and wouldn't come inside - two seating areas, a BBQ and a lovely summerhouse for quiet contemplation or a place to be sent to if naughty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Reading Rooms. Fabulous accommodation and a lovely restored cottage with many original features. The location was brilliant for walking to the local shops, pub and recreation ground. We also drive into Cambridge both days which only took 25 minutes. We will definitely try to stay again and visit gorgeous Linton!

We had the pleasure of staying at Steven’s place for a couple of nights whilst working in London. The location was ideal for us due to private parking for our van and everything was spot on, will definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks for the beers too!

Ideal base for us to see some of Suffolk and attend a gig at Thetford Forest. Lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy and the extra touches (cream tea, chocolates and Prosecco on arrival) were much appreciated

Perfect location in the country side. Easy to drive to Stowmarket. Plus good train links if you didn’t want to drive to Bury St Edmund. Accommodation modern and very clean. Loved the bird song in the back garden over a cup of tea. Highly recommend.

This charming cottage was a perfect find for visiting my family in Wivenhoe. The location by the river is wonderful. The accommodation is really lovely- spacious, clean, bright and everything provided for. Charles and Emma are lovely welcoming hosts. Thank you both for a lovely stay. I will undoubtedly be back. This was our third stay here, so I think that says it all. We love the very modern cottage set in beautiful grounds and the walks around are amazing and so peaceful. Pubs and villages are accessible by foot and it is an excellent base to explore the surrounding area by car. Heidi is always very helpful and quick to respond. Would thoroughly recommend.

Karen is a lovely and highly professional host. Her place is a fantastic escape into a very quiet and peaceful location, we absolutely loved it. Also her home made jams and farm eggs are simply delicious. An enormous amount of information provided in files helped us make the most of our stay and explore the area. Don't hesitate to book Karen's place, I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.

A lovely property kept in very good condition with all you need for a short stay. It was very quiet and had a beautiful garden to sit in and relax. Annabel was very welcoming and helpful. Can't fault anything.
