This is a definite must stay if you’re coming to Philly with a large family! The place is simply amazing home and is modern, spacious and pristine in nature! It’s is wonderfully decorated and could easily be a show home! It is exactly as advertised and much more! The jacuzzi and outdoor patio and bbq are a really nice touch, and well as the exercise room and equipment on the second floor! Katerina is a gracious and wonderful host! She responded to any inquiries in a timely and helpful manner! We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! A truly exceptional stay! The Elegant Chateau in Philadelphia was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need (even things you wouldn’t think of!). It’s the perfect space for entertaining while still allowing for privacy and comfort. One of the highlights for me was knowing it’s Black-owned, which made supporting this stay even more meaningful. I was proud to host family here. Whether you’re visiting during warm or cold months, the property is ready—swimming and grilling in the summer, cozy and well-equipped in cooler weather. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless from start to finish. Only word of advice: keep your trash secured—there are some bold raccoons who like to make evening appearances, but they didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect experience. I’ve already recommended this gem to others and will definitely be returning myself. Highly recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Jeneene's home. Jeneene was exceptionally communicative, responsive and thoughtful, including leaving a sweet congratulatory note to our daughter (who was graduating), providing local recommendations specific to our needs, and allowing us late check out. We stayed at Gemalyn’s place for a gold tournament in Washington Township. The place was a great retreat. Very relaxing and comfortable. The yard offered a great escape and was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend!

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

Pauline’s place was amazing , our family and friends stayed for a lacrosse tournament and we got to enjoy the pool / beautiful outdoor space & AC / game room inside on a hot weekend. Every time we had a question they were quick to respond. We hope to return soon, perfect for a weekend get away.

Spent a weekend exploring Philly with friends and this was a great location to get into the city easily. Home was exactly as pictured and described. Pool and backyard were absolutely beautiful and worth the rate in itself. It is an older and well-loved space, so some of the house could use some TLC but nothing to inhibit our stay in anyway. Host was thorough with communication. Would love to stay again!

Caryle’s place was in a very peaceful neighborhood, very private and relaxing. The kitchen had what we needed and the living room was a great place to sit and read. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

Aaron's place was a perfect little cottage for a weekend away. Aaron provided easy instructions to get in and it was easy to navigate even in the dark. The cottage was clean, neat and bigger than we expected. The extra double sink area is great, especially with girls. The area is very quiet and very close to anything you may need. We would stay again if we are in the area. Highly recommend.

Easy to book. Easy to check in. No issues with our stay. Everything worked. Comfy beds. Shower had good pressure and temp. Easy to park. Overall it worked out very well for our trip to Philly. Thank you!

Quiet place with excellent internet for working at home. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Good shower pressure. Great neighborhood for walking and safe to be in. Brought our two dogs. Only drawback is I felt we were either restricting her dogs being outside by being there with our own dogs. Would stay again but maybe without our pets.

The house was very spacious, well stocked kitchen, huge bedroom. There were plenty snacks provided in the kitchen. The location is a nice quiet, safe neighborhood. Easy entrance into the house with a dedicated parking spot. As instructed, don’t follow your gps, use the provided instructions. Would definitely book the house again in the future.

We stayed at the Harvey House for 16 a little over 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience! The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything we needed. Shalamar was an excellent host—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including toddler-friendly items like plates, bowls, and utensils, which was a big plus for our family. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-stocked home away from home. Thank you, Shalamar!

Great 3 night stay. Perfect for traveling with dogs. The fenced back yard is amazing. Very well stocked kitchen if you plan to eat in. Very clean and well maintained property.

Me and a few friends stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect for what we needed. We were going to the parade in Philly and needed a place to stay in close proximity. The house was nice and the host is very accommodating and responsive.

I thoroughly enjoyed Rodolfho and Juli's place. It was cozy, clean & well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and the large walk-in closet was an extra plus. I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived that Rodolfho & Juli not only provided me a small gift basket of goodies, they left me a beautiful hand-written note to welcome me. They were so easy to communicate with and responded to any question or request very quickly. I really liked the area they live in. It was peaceful and their backyard was very relaxing. Most of all, I was impressed by how genuinely nice and decent they are. I would heartily recommend their suite to anyone looking for a comfortable place for a very fair price. Five (5) stars!

Allison & Timothy are exceptional hosts. They gave precise instructions which are easy to follow. Their place is super clean and very nice. They responded to our messages usually within minutes if not immediately. The neighborhood is also very nice with friendly neighbors too. Highly recommended!

The place was immaculate! It was such a unique find. We were in town for a play to stay tournament and Calvin was very flexible with us on extending our stay or checking out. He was very responsive and helpful. The house was very comfortable and as described. Would definitely stay here again. My kids were sad when they didn't make the next day of the tournament, and we had to leave.

My family and I had a nice stay. It was easy to get to from the Philadelphia airport. The house and the bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Kat, the hostess, was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely choose Kat’s house again!

When I called him the day before we left we had a pleasant brief conversation. He asked me what brought us to the area and I told him that it was my son’s 6th birthday and that he loved the Franklin institute. After an arduous trip leaving NYC. We finally arrived and were so amazed by the peaceful vibe of the place. And then we got in and opened the fridge and there was a birthday cake with a candle for my son!!! We were just stunned. In a world where it feels like everyone is just trying to out-mean each other, Jack and his peaceful home are just a rare and wonderful find.

We couldn’t have asked for more hospitable and friendly hosts! The location was perfect for our daughter’s graduation from Bryn Mawr and we were able to bring our Doxie who enjoyed it as much as we did. The town is charming and easily walkable from the house. The backyard setting was a wonderful oasis for the family.

Pat and Lulu’s place looks exactly like the photos, it has essentially everything you would ever need from an Airbnb. The location itself isn’t pretty but no complaints on the Airbnb at all! The beds are also super comfy.
