Holiday rentals in Rice Point

Our stay at Sealview Lodge was absolutely incredible. We were in awe every day at the stunning ocean views and could not have asked for a more peaceful AirBnb experience. The photos in this listing do not do this place justice - the cottage is new and lovely and has everything you need for a restful and relaxing stay. The small details included in the cottage were well thought out, such as the binoculars on the window ledge (seals!), extra toiletries in the bathroom, fresh bath robes in the closet, or even the marshmallows for the campfire pit. We were travelling from out of province with a baby and Emily was so accommodating and responsive with our extra requests - definitely 5+ star host. Also, Canoe Cove is incredibly central with being only 25 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to Charlottetown and 40 minutes to the north shore beaches/Anne of Green Gables/Cavendish/North Rustico areas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. WILL RETURN.

Great location with a beautiful view of the ocean. Lovely two bedroom cottage with nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and excellent Internet & TV. Fresh clean bathrooms and laundry with lots of water pressure. Enjoyed spending time on the deck reading and watching the amazing tidal shifts with miles of sand bars to walk on for hours. Found a Raspberry U-pick only a few minutes away and made the most wonderful jam. Not far from Charlottetown, golfing and all the other amazing things to do on the Island. We will be back again!

The cottage is in a beautiful location. We were able to see the water from the deck. The house was very comfortable and extremely clean. We appreciated the thoughtful extras such as toys and books for children. Overall a wonderful place to spend time with loved ones and it is close to tourist attractions.

If we could give our stay more than 5 *, we would. The cottage was perfect for our family and Lee-Ann was a fabulous and responsive host. From the kitchen supplies, to the beach towels, to the games and books, every detail was thought out. We loved the peaceful and quiet location. It was a quick drive to the local grocery store and close enough to Charlottetown that we could go in for a walk/dinner. We managed to see most of the island in our short 5 day stay. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay and convenient for locations! Had everything we needed.

Gary and Bonnie were wonderful hosts, They made us feel right at home from the start to the end of our trip. They gave us great recommendations and were extremely helpful and friendly. We forgot sand toys and being the end of august it was hard to find any, before we could ask, Gary brought over a bag of sand toys for the kids and let us know where we could find some extra chairs and an umbrella for the beach. The beach itself was gorgeous and the water was warm. We spent one of our days at Cavendish beach just to say we did it but in all honesty their private beach was much nicer. The cottage was immaculate, it was extremely well kept and clean. Everything you would need to spend a few days and cook some beautiful meals was availible a bonus being the ability to do laundry. We are already planning our trip to PEI for next year and are most looking forward to staying with Gary and Bonnie and enjoying the peace and quiet their lovely cottage provides.

We had a long term (5month) stay. Sue & Chaz went above and beyong helping us settle in including helping us as we got the children set-up catching the bus to school. They were only to happy to help if we needed anything. They were incredibly friendly and made sure we felt at home. They cared about the kids letting them hang out with their pets (my kids loved that they allowed them to have the cats hang out with us!). Chaz pulled out toboggans when snow covered their fields and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow! (Being from Australia this was awesome). The place has a stunning view from the loungeroom overlooking their gardens and the water. The location is perfect- quiet, quintessential P.E.I ! They also had great recommendations for the music and resturant scene in Charlottetown making sure we made the most of what P.E.I has to offer. We'll be back!

Some anemones listed were hard to find or were not there BUT I wrote them and they explained that some things had gone missing this summer but they could bring me down extras if I wished. they were super responsive and helpful. Came a little early to do the lawn one morning😞 but only because I was on holidays. I thought the beach was closer but it ended up to be a really great spot and there were reco.mendtions for places to go all over the house. Private, huge yard, great spot!
