Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rethymno

We truly loved the stay- it is a modern, clean and climatic villa with great open-space living room and kitchen. It has a well kept garden and the pool just makes all the difference. We were there with family, 6 people had a comfortable stay. The area is quiet, away from the main tourist spots, but close to a village with two nice restaurants and shops, within a walking distance. The sea view is just stunning and you get to admire it straight from the pool. We also loved the outside grill space, we had some evenings with cooking and enjoyed the meals outside with a sea view. The host was very helpful and responsive, too. It’s a great space for those looking for some privacy, but with the option to get to the cities like Chania or Rethymno within less than an hour by car.

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

Very comfy flat, super clean, white sheets and towels. Perfect location for shopping, restaurants, supermarket, meeting points for travelling, also very close to the port. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the balcony, feeling the city centre life. George was a very responsive host and supportive when a needed help. The refreshments and small treats were also a nice sign of hospitality. Definitely an excellent place to stay in Heraklion!

Very comfortable, airy house with lovely views across Souda Bay

We visited in July 24 and our party comprised two families. Elizabeth was very helpful throughout the booking which was a valuable comfort. The house is two separate flats (upstairs and downstairs) which worked well for us. The property is generally nice and in good condition, but a little dated in terms of the furnishings. The games room (pool table and table tennis) was great for the kids and the pool area was also good. The property cleaning and pool maintenance was good. The rooms are air conditioned and this is needed in summer. It is located a short car hop from Plakias and other nearby beaches but probably too far to regularly walk in the summer heat. We really liked the area which was good value and full of options. We had a great holiday in the property!

we had a great time. location was really good for beaches Chania main town, and restaurants. Michail was really helpful for anything we needed. However the only issues we had was we didn't realise the apartment was spilt into 2. So when we arrived we was with another couple sharing the pool with us. Also the owner kept coming out to ask us to move off certain tables and stop kicking balls. In conclusion, really nice villa just needs to be advertised as a shared villa.

For us it was an amazing stay in the idyllic little villa complex with pool and a beautiful wide view. The surroundings are peaceful, but you are close enough to walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. To reach more cities, beaches, etc., I would recommend having a car. The Greek host couple was very warm, attentive and helpful. We will be happy to return.

It's impossible to complain about anything here. Fantastic place, gorgeous surroundings, easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and Efi was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and kind during our stay. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given

Fantastic Airbnb and host! Looks just like the photos and is part of a lovely, authentic square in Maza village. We were so impressed with the hosts who went out of their way to supply us with a baby cot. The Airbnb also came with things like coffee, tea etc which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

Gabrielle is an exceptional host. She was able to give advice on the area so that we could make the most of our stay. Always attentive to ensure that our family lacks nothing (toys for children, adapted bed, etc.). I would recommend the accommodation, it is comfortable and in a peaceful location in the heart of a small village.

It was a really nice appartment overall. clean & functional. However, keep in mind that if you are traveling with a baby, the floor is very cold (stone tiles) with no heating option.

Menelaos Apartments is a great way to spend your holiday, very helpful host and short way to the beach. A rental car is a great possibility to see more of the island! Greetings from Germany

stay, in the perfect accommodation for our use. the outside is worth a visit and really raises the whole. low hat, for the exteriors which are essential. barbecue, outdoor kitchen isolated from other rentals, outdoor lounges. really bravo.
