The Airbnb is in a top location, close to everything we needed, and the apartment itself was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. We felt completely at home and would love to come back. This fully equipped and very spacious apartment is ideally located for those who want the best of both worlds. With a few steps, you are in the old town and on the beach. Ioulia is a sweet and generous hostess who perfectly knows how to find the middle ground between discretion and involvement. The week could easily have lasted a little longer 😊

Exactly as described in the advert. Wonderful view from the terrace over the bay area and very friendly and helpful hosts! Nicely furnished appartment with everything you need and a very comftable bed. The appartment is situated in a lovely little mountain village with very good taverns nearby. The ideal place to wind down!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

We had a wonderful stay. Gina and her family made us feel at home right from the beginning. Gina is an excellent cook and we had almost every meal at her taverna. Paradise!

Such a phenomenal place! We stayed here as a group of five and it was so reasonably priced. AMAZING views, you are literally right against the water. Gorgeous, clean space. Easy 15 minute walk into Old Town. Host was amazing, she helped us call a taxi when we needed and gave us lots of recommendations. Stay here!!!

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Where to start! The most amazing holiday at Villa Mare Monte, the Villa is beautiful and the surroundings are so relaxing. We loved every minute of our week in the Villa but a special mention to Markos for bring a great host, so responsive and helpful always- even come over one day with extra toys for my toddler, provided endless recommendations and helped us with transfers and taxis throughout our stay. We also booked in a great night where manolis and his mother came and cooked for us at the villa- cretan meals it was perfect and a wonderful experiences for us all. The facilities at the villa are brilliant and we got full use of all the facilities during our stay, cooking everyday in both kitchens. We stayed as a family of 12 and had a spare room (top floor). Would highly recommend and would love to come back- Ps the garden with trampoline and slide for toddlers was very much appreciated 😀 see you again! Thank you again from the Mitchell family x

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, starting with a warm welcome on our first night. Antonis’ mother kindly prepared a thoughtful dinner for us, which was especially appreciated since we arrived late and didn’t have time to go out for food. He was also incredibly attentive and made it clear we could reach out to him anytime with questions or needs. Throughout our stay, he provided us with great recommendations on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. The villa also featured a lovely outdoor pizza oven, and they generously provided us with pizza dough, firewood, and everything we needed to enjoy it. They even made sure we had everything we needed for a barbecue. Overall, it was a fantastic experience thanks to their hospitality and thoughtful touches.

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

We stayed at this location for 9 days and the apartment is great exactly as shown in the pictures. The road to the parking lot next to the apartment is a challenge but can be done. The view from the balcony is stunning, the pale vultures hovered over the mountains which I found a beautiful sight. The only downside I found in the evening after eating downstairs in the village the steep road up. But this may also be due to our condition. Communication with the managers was perfect within a few minutes we got an answer to any questions.

We had a fantastic stay in Michalis's lovely corner suite. It was cozy, unique, and had everything we needed, plus nice extras like a washer, a second bathroom and street parking (just do an extra lap around the block). The location was ideal, with traditional windows opening to a garden and ruins, and it was a short walk to everything while being away from the Old City crowds. Michalis was an amazing host—very responsive, provided great local tips, and even took time to offer us coffee and chat. He’s definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met. I highly recommend this place and a stay with Michalis!!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful modern apartment in the Turkish quarter of old town Chania. Very close to Venetian Port, great restaurants (Well of the Turk just around the corner) yet lovely and quiet. Loved coffee and breaks on the rooftop terrace, spacious rooms and amenities. Eva was fantastic! Thanks so much, this is a perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful week staying in Michalis’ apartment. Views from both balconies from Apartment Two were spectacular, panoramic of the Amari Valley and Mount Ida still snow capped in the background. The apartment was immaculate and suited our needs very well. Any additional requests were dealt with swiftly. We mainly catered for ourselves in the morning and had two lovely breakfasts in Michalis’ Taverna. Meronas is a pretty village and enjoyed meals at Taverna’s Alona & Moschovolies. There was great hiking from the doorstep and only a short drive to Patsos Gorge. There is an excellent patisserie and supermarket in Gerikari a short drive away and supermarkets and pharmacy in Agia Fotini, 2.5 km away. We stayed end of April which was great as not too hot to hike but be aware many Taverna’s closed this time of year as off season. Would highly recommend a stay at Michalis’ apartments, another unforgettable holiday for us!

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

We had a great time at Fotis and Amalia’s place. Definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed! The location was perfect as we like to stay just outside of the hustle and bustle but close enough so we can dip in and out with ease. There’s plenty of bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets around. The views are just outstanding and we ended up getting food a few times to eat at home as we enjoyed to look at the sea from the house. It was also easy to cook, there’s plenty of utensils if you wish to prep a meal in. The bed was really comfortable, as I’m 7 months pregnant asked if we could have a couple of extra pillows and this was ready for our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of groceries we had available at the house too! Fresh fruit (we loved making our own fresh orange juice in the morning!), bread, butter and many other snacks! Fotis was also great at recommending places to visit like beaches, restaurants and museums. We 100% recommend this place!

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Perfect place in the right location. A little too much clutter and outdated but that’s just the family’s style. Perfect for a few days. Free parking, wonderful host!

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.
