Holiday rentals with beach access in Rethimnon

We loved our stay at Anastasio’s! The apartment was clean and just as the photos described. The location was beautiful, overlooking the water and within walkable distance to everything you could need. Anastasio and Fotis were extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to check in early when we arrived to the city earlier than expected. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sifi’s. He is easy going, responsive and provided great recommendations. The apartment is beautiful, modern and we felt very comfortable with our stay. Sadly our visit was short since there are plenty to see and do that we didn’t get to do but I would book this place again if we come back.

Thrasyvoulos’s was a very responsive, proactive and helpful host. The apartment was in an amazing location with great restaurants nearby. Would recommend!

Great location, very short walk to the port, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The host was extremely responsive and always willing to help make our stay comfortable! Apartment was very clean and the jacuzzi is a great feature. Multiple cafe’s/bars just downstairs with great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be close to the venetian port and all Chania has to offer.

Would love to come back and stay at 7 Olives again. Each apartment has a stunning view from their balcony. All the guests were quiet and respectful. Two super comfy pillows for each of us which we didn’t find anywhere else on our trip to Europe. The mattress was also very comfortable. And Alex was by far my favorite Greek kitty we met.

Very welcoming and responsive hosts (I stupidly locked myself out the first night... They found a solution very quickly while they were not on site). Thanks again for their kindness! Very nice accommodation, clean and close to shops and the KTEL bus station.

We spent a week in Maria's apartment. But what does apartment mean here? We're actually talking about a real penthouse. This is really beautifully arranged, functional, equipped and quietly located. The rest of the house does not quite meet the standard of the apartment, but maybe it will... we enjoyed the time on this beautiful terrace every day. If you want to relax during the day and eat delicious food in the evening, you've come to the right place. After a few days, even the beds were remade and fresh towels were brought. I've never experienced that in an Airbnb apartment. We are happy to give our absolute recommendation!! Thank you Maria and Nikos

Fantastic luxury place, very spacious with enormous veranda. Easy parking right on the street. Fantastic mattresses , perfect firmness, slept very comfortably. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home. The location is quiet and offers a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all, a nice house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

Theo’s apartment is absolutely beautiful place to stay right in the heart of the old city - we had an amazing stay and thoroughly recommend. Theo was a brilliant host, the personal welcome and flexible check in and check out made us feel right at home even after a long journey. The apartment is beautifully equipped and finished, with comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms with lots of storage. The roof terrace is stunning, catching the sun all day with lots of comfortable furniture. The location is perfect for food and shopping in the heart of the old city, with stunning sea swimming locations a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay, Theo was awesome and the overall cost was good value for money.

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Small deck overlooking the Chania Bay lighthouse and all the restaurants surrounding the bay. Airbnb at end and had a great restaurant (with blue chairs) that had great food. Beds were comfortable and back bedroom was very quiet as well. The owner met us at check-in and explained everything. Top deck was very nice to sit, my husband actually pulled out his laptop and worked on the table for awhile. He was in heaven. But we enjoyed sitting on small deck off living space too. Husband and myself w our two young adult children loved that we were so close to everything. Do not hesitate to book this airbnb.

This place is amazing! Cleopatra received us in person, with gifts for us. She introduced us to the accommodation with passion, took us to the charming little square of the village, explained the various activities and surrounding spots. the view from THE terraces is breathtaking (bird 's-eye view of the sea from the heights). the house is perfectly equipped, there is more bathroom than bedrooms. The geographical location is ideal for visiting the entire south center area of the island, which we seek calm and authenticity. for typical and cheap dishes, appointment at the Platia taverna on the small charming square of the village. Too bad we can only give 5 stars maximum! We'll come back, I promise.

First of all, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely host, Niki, who showed us around and gave us great recommendations. The apartment itself was exactly as we expected from the photos — cozy, beautiful, and spotless. Everything smelled fresh and clean. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each room was equipped with air conditioning, and the beds were very comfortable. The views from the balconies were wonderful — it was a pleasure to sit outside in the evenings and watch the lively street life below. The apartment is located in the center of Rethymno, with everything within a 5-minute walking distance. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s possible to find a spot about a 5-minute walk away. We would happily come back again!

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. Loved the huge deck. Across street from beautiful beach where you could rent chairs and an umbrella and order food and drink. Walk to dozens of all kinds of different restaurants right on the “the strip” and in the old town.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Thanks for the great stay. The apartment is very clean, well renovated, practically furnished, only 3 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes on the promenade to the old town and despite the location on a busy road quite quiet. Parking the rental car was also quite unproblematic. Free parking is available in the area. The balcony is a bit narrow and not so suitable for sitting outside (especially since it is also a bit noisy outside). All in all, a great stay.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Excellent location, walking distance to great restaurants and the beach, the patio is amazing, perfect for people watching. There was a lovely bike rental place close by which was incredibly convinient. Would stay there again, it had everything we needed, thanks Alexia!

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
