Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rethimnon

The house is in a great location, very clean and functional, close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach. Michael is very friendly and always responded to our questions. In conclusion, I can say we made the right choice by renting the house.

Everything was great, the appartment is conform to the description. Nikos is really helpfull and gives all the details by text. Thank you for welcoming us !

This was the best Airbnb we've stayed at. Lovely village with restaurants, a bakery and markets for most of what you'd need. On arrival the house had been generously stocked with more than we expected. Argiro and her family were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Iro House. Thanks so much Argiro, we will be back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet einen tollen Blick aufs Meer – perfekt, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub am Strand.

My husband and I travelled to Crete for a wedding. I didn’t take too much time looking into where to stay, so when we arrived and saw the quality of the apartment and location I was incredibly proud of myself. Our host Manos was helpful and quick to respond to our requests and needs. Our home from home was beyond clean, incredibly well stocked and the location was unparalleled. Beds were comfortable and linen was great quality. Cupboards were well stocked with spices and oils, there was a beautiful basket of fruit and you can even purchase a well stocked bottle of wine. If I could give this gem of an Airbnb a 6 I would. I shall be visiting again. Thank you Manos for all your top recommendations and advice.

Εξαιρετικός χώρος, ιδιαίτερα φροντισμενος, με έμφαση στις λεπτομερειες, φιλοξένησε με άνεση 6 άτομα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες φρόντισαν ώστε να έχουμε εγκαίρως όλες τις οδηγίες και τις συμβουλές που χρειαζόμασταν προκειμένου να έχουμε μια άνετη διαμονή. Ευγενικοί οικοδεσπότες που μας καλωσόρισαν με γλυκά και παραδοσιακή ρακί. Το σπίτι και οι οικοδεσπότες του, έκαναν την διαμονή μας στο Ρέθυμνο ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη!

Diese Unterkunft ist ein Traum!Wir waren von der ersten Minute begeistert und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gehobene Ausstattung. Die Dachterrasse ist der Hammer!Mein Zimmer zur Einkaufsstraße raus war traumhaft schön, die Dusche neben dem Bett herrlich. Einziges Manko:Am Wochenende ist es in diesem Zimmer aufgrund der Party People draußen die bis 5Uhr aus den Bars kommen recht laut. In der Vorsaison war es zum Glück nur Samstag laut ansonsten ruhig. Alles andere war perfekt!!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Aikaterinis Airbnb! Sie ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Besonders geliebt haben wir die Dachterrasse mit dem kleinen Pavillion :) Wir können die Residence auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

It was lovely stay at Konstandina’s apartment! I highly recommend, cosy, neat and properly arranged space. We had all the amenities that was essential and even more. The bed is really comfy. The location is great. Beach, old town, shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Parking spot nearby. Last but not least, Konstandina is extremely kind and generous! We have experienced really warm greeting and farewell. The level of the hospitality is beyond the scale. We are impressed. Thank you again!

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! We loved our stay here! It is a great location - super close to the beach and a short walk into old town. The place is beautiful - so clean and beautifully decorated. We felt so at home. Such lovely touches - fruit, coffee pods, earbuds, cotton balls, bamboo toothbrushes etc. Marilena was really responsive, very clear check in and check out instructions and such great recommendations. Would definitely recommend this spot to stay at if you are in the area.

Très bel appartement spacieux, propre et beaucoup d équipements, avec un grand balcon et un parking. Il est très bien situé, face à la mer, et à 10 mn à pieds de la vieille ville. Supérette et restaurant à moins de 5 mn à pieds. Il y a plusieurs petites plages très paisibles à l est et à l ouest à 5 mn. Bref, tout pour un séjour réussi.

Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα μάς άφησε τις καλυτερες εντυπώσεις! Ο χώρος πεντακάθαρος, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη, είχαν προονοήσει ακόμα και για πλαστικά επαναχρησιμοποιούμενα πιατάκια και ποτηράκια για τα παιδιά. Ζητήσαμε βρεφική κούνια και όταν φτάσαμε ήταν ήδη εκεί, στρωμένη, με αποσπώμενη αλλαξιέρα και παιδικό μαξιλαράκι! Μας είχαν αφήσει και παιδικά σεντόνια και παιδικές πετσετούλες. Μόλις φτάσαμε, η οικοδέσποινα μας υποδέχτηκε με χαμόγελο και πολλή ευγένεια, ενώ μας περίμεναν και πολλά τοπικά (και όχι μόνο) εδέσματα για το καλωσόρισμα! Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση, άψογη συνεννόηση και πολύ βολική τοποθεσία, με δική μας θέση parking ακριβώς μπροστά στο κατάλυμμα! Δεν μας έλειψε απολύτως τίποτα. Θα το προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα σε επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στο Ρέθυμνο!

Appartamento comodo in posizione strategica per visitare la città di Retimo, senza morire nella ricerca di un parcheggio in centro ed allo stesso modo permette di spostarsi agevolmente verso il Sud dell'isola per godere delle spiagge e mare cristallino. L'appartamento non è troppo grande, ma comodo e funzionale per una vacanza di qualche giorno. L'arredamento e la struttura è moderna e non manca nulla. Consigliato.

Karl’s place is lovely! A 10 minute walk from the centre of town and the bus station, it’s got a private garden area and is in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Karl met us when we arrived and showed us around the place. It’s a cosy studio, perfect for two people visiting Rethymno!

Eftychia est une hôte exceptionnelle, très accueillante. Elle avait prévu plein de gentilles attentions. L'appartement est beau et très propre. Le secteur est très bien, tout près de la vielle ville à pied. Je le recommande!

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gut renoviert, praktisch eingerichtet, nur 3 Minuten vom Strand entfernt, 20 Minuten an der Promenade bis zur Altstadt und trotz der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße recht ruhig. Auch das Parken des Mietwagen war recht unproblematisch. Kostenfreie Parkplätze sind in der Umgebung vorhanden. Der Balkon ist etwas schmal und nicht so gut zum draußen sitzen geeignet (zumal es draußen auch etwas laut ist). Alles in allem aber ein toller Aufenthalt.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!

Un séjour parfait ! Le logement est tout simplement génial, avec absolument tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent moment. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus pour se détendre. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée : coupe de fruits, snacks, eau et gâteaux. Tout était au top, merci encore pour cet accueil chaleureux et soigné. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Vlakbij het strand. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar. Appartement heeft alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Behulpzame verhuurder. Alles op wandelafstand, auto is enkel nodig voor daguitstappen. Leuk speelgoed voor de kinderen. Enige minpunt is dat het naast een drukke baan ligt met nodige lawaai.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Unterkunft. Es war sauber und alles notwendige vorhanden. Besonders charmant fand ich die schöne Terasse und die nette Auswahl an Büchern in der Unterkunft. Das Badezimmer ist etwas klein, was uns allerdings nicht besonders störte, weil man mit einigen Dingen gut in das angrenzende Schlafzimmer ausweichen konnte. Einen Parkplatz hatten wir fast immer direkt vor der Unterkunft. Nur einmal war kein Parkplatz frei aber in der Umgebung gibt es viele Parkmöglichkeiten. Bis in die wunderschöne Altstadt braucht man zu Fuß etwa 15 - 20 min, man muss also schon etwas gut zu Fuß sein. Wir haben den Spaziergang nach dem phänomenalen Essen und Raki in der Stadt sehr genossen.

Ησυχη περιοχή, υπήρχε ιδιωτικότητα και το διαμέρισμα είναι πολύ καλαίσθητο και βολικό. Το συνιστώ!
