Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Reggio Emilia

We had a great stay in Adriano's house in Parma. The house was really nice, very spacious and in a quiet area but also close to the city centre with many bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The house was clean and comfortable and had all of the basic provisions which was helpful for a short stay. Adriano was friendly and responsive and gave us some good local advice. Overall an excellent weekend and hope to visit Param again some time.

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Highly recommend Bazzano and Franco’s house as home base for visiting Bologna, Modena and environs. Unique beautifully maintained historic home with lovely outdoor space. Comfortable bed and a/c was appreciated on warm June night.

We felt extremely comfortable in Matteos accommodation. It is located in a picturesque setting that offers a lot of peace and relaxation. The rooms are designed with great attention to detail and equipped with everything you need. Overall, a stay with Matteo is highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

This beautiful, spotlessly clean, huge apartment is ideally located near wonderful restaurants, bars, shops, and historic attractions. Having secure, private parking for our rental car was a big plus. Communication with co-host Francesca was excellent— she was responsive and helpful throughout. This gorgeous apartment looked just like the photos and offered plenty of space to unwind from our busy touring schedule. Virtual key access worked wonderfully too. Highly recommended. We would love to return soon.

We felt very comfortable at Casa Ton and Lorenzo is a very friendly, easily accessible and helpful host! The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need, but you have to know that it is quite dark due to narrow outbuildings. The house is also quite outdated. The location is very central, but the narrow street is unfortunately dingy and not so welcoming. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and the apartment had a good price-performance ratio : )

We were driving there, and the location of the homestay was a little difficult for us to find, however, the host was very nice to pick us up.Thank you Sergio for his hospitality, was very welcoming, very responsive and caring about us not being cold at night and the heat not hot.

Antonella has a very charming one room apartment that has everything you need. Nice natural lighting, plenty of privacy and great location! Only thing that could be improved is the water pressure from the taps but nothing that you can’t live with for a few days. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

The place is great, it has everything for a nice stay. The kitchen is well equipped. Wi-fi worked very well. Davide was amazing, super friendly and always replied very quickly. We enjoyed having bicycles to cycle around the town :)

This was our first stop on a trip of 14 days and I think my family of four would all have voted to stay much longer. The place has an excellent design with 4 large bedrooms each with a bathroom. The views are amazing. To top it off Andrea was so responsive and kind. He really looked to take care of every need - even allowing us to mail a parcel there and return later to get it. My daughter has severe allergies to environmental toxins and she was absolutely fine in this air bnb. It is delightful and immaculate and I hope we get to stay again in the future. Thank you Andrea!

Excellent location and multiple communications with owners were responded to immediately with clear guidelines. We were given early access to the flat and garage which was lucky as it turned out the street was closed that day for a 25th anniversary celebration. Flat is accurately presented and described. It is very clean and the bedroom is quiet at night. Entry was a bit complicated as I also rented the garage - lock on front door, then a lock box for garage key/ remote and then a lock box for flat. Having said that, flat and garage were extremely secure and it was easy after that. Definitely recommend the flat and its central location. Parma is a lovely town.

Bellissimo appartamente!! This was such a wonderful place—modern, airy, spectacular! Wonderful layout with two lovely terraces. There were 4 of us in the group and we felt like we had a ton of space, beds were so comfy, great water pressure, plus washing machine! Walkable to the best parts of Bologna. Mattia was a wonderful host, very receptive and patient with us. We adored this place and highly highly recommend.

Great location and super smooth check in and communication! Very comfortable and large space. Under 20 min walk to station and under 15 to main centre. Within 5 minutes walk plenty of cafes and wonderful street Via Dei Gallucci for great restaurants and bars!

A trip chosen almost to play with my girlfriend Oriana, three days of wonderful emotions and feelings to take home. Assunta and Ivan, with their Matilde (beautiful dog of extraordinary sweetness), transported us into a dream, from the warm welcome, to the small attentions. And if the details make a difference, and they do, there are a lot of details here, from the cleanliness of the place to the crazy breakfasts! A project, that of their B&B, of extraordinary beauty. From the entrance there are wonderful scents, from lavender to dry straw; the colors are earthy, natural, sincere, a bit like their smile. It was great to chat with them about anything. We recommend learning how much more you need to know about the place and the surroundings. There are wonderful stories in those valleys full of nature, and they're there within walking distance. This extraordinary place really deserves to be seen, but above all lived. Highly recommended!
