You can reach the Kreuzbodenbahn in 10 minutes and the town center with shopping is a 15-minute walk. In order to enjoy your vacation after skiing, sledding or hiking, our sauna in the basement is perfect for ending a wonderful day and/or making yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace in the living-dining area.

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

The farmhouse, newly built in 2021, is located on the sunny Taxberg in Taxenbach, where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. All hiking areas (Dienten, Gastein, Rauris, Kaprun, Zell am See) are within 20 kilometers. We offer fresh "organic milk" from our dairy cows. Our animals can also be visited.

We had a great stay at Carpe Solem in Rauris. The hotel is very clean and well maintained – you can tell that a lot of attention is paid to hygiene and order. The service was friendly and helpful, from check-in to departure, everything worked smoothly. Particularly noteworthy is the location: quiet, yet central, with beautiful views of the mountains. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely recommend the hotel!

Very warm and welcoming host. She waited for us even when we were late and settled us in nicely explaining the apartment. Very nice surrounding with very good view of the alps and snowy mountains. Very well stocked kitchen and very clean towels. Totally recommend if you are staying in the area. Will definitely visit again.

The place was by far one of the best place we have been in last fee years. It’s Unterberg near Dorfgastein, is a peaceful, clean, adorable little village surrounded by evergreen mountains with snow capped peaks. The whole Gastein valley area is a must visit when you are in vicinity of Salzburg or Hallstatt. Its wonderful. Then comes the apartment. Its beautiful, compact and perfect address for a family stay. Finally the host David, is a wonderful person. He is always responsive, respectful and helpful. Overall this place is definitely recommended. We would love to come back again.

Very modern, cozy and comfortable apartment! We felt very comfortable right away. The equipment with furniture and dishes was also very generous. The small town center, shopping and the cable car are within walking distance. The apartment is highly recommended!
