Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rapallo

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home. Never stayed in a castle before...and it was awesome! It is full of history and charm, with a family feel. We spent a good amount of time out on the stone deck enjoying wine and the great views. We also enjoyed simply walking around the inside and looking at the old paintings and decorations. It is great when an Airbnb goes beyond being just a place to sleep and instead becomes a big part of the overall travel experience. The castle is modernized in the important ways, but the host does go out of his way to portray it accurately in the full description. Also, it is a bit outside of town and so it may be best to have a vehicle during your visit. The host was extremely responsive when I had a couple of questions, and the arrival/check in process was made easy with an in-person meeting when we arrived. We also had an amazing dinner at the restaurant they recommended. Overall, this was an exceptional Airbnb and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay, it felt like being at home! The location was perfect, very central and accessible to sightseeing and restaurants. The host, Angela, was very friendly and super responsive, with great greeting and shared a lot of suggestions. Everything went very smoothly and no issues. Highly recommended :)

If this place is available , STOP looking ! It’s breathtaking ! The whole apartment is gorgeous but the view from both the small terrace and the huge one is heaven . Unobstructed views all around . Literally 360 degree view of paradise . Everything was perfect . Thank you so much Anna

Great 3 night stay at the end of April with cloudy weather. Villa Lilla has a lot of assets. Well equipped house, photo compliant, quiet, clean. Nice hosts. The jacuzzi is really nice (including when the sky is cloudy). We switched the heater to winter mode and the heaters worked right away. The second bathroom is more of an extra bathroom but the main bathroom is enough for 4 people. Parking space included and courtyard closed by a gate. The sound of the small church bell is very weak and adds charm from my point of view. Ideally located between Portofino and the 5 lands (we went there by train). I don't realize if the short road in pins can be a problem, we live in the Alps so for us it's no problem. But it goes with the WONDERFUL VIEW. I recommend Villa Lilla.

Perfect apartment for our vacation of 6 days. Everything was like description! Albert response very quickly and helped wirth everything, The apartment was very close to beach and city center, also the apartment was large, very clean, the kitchen is full equiped. You will not regret if you choose this acomodation!

This apartment is located at the Corniglia bus stop - so it’s easy to take the bus up and skip those 377 steps if you want! The apartment has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, comfortable furniture, and air conditioner units in every room. The only thing to be aware of is: if you like to shower, that is a bit difficult in the jacuzzi as the ceilings are low (but if you like bathing it’s a cozy tub with a cool sunroof which opens for ventilation)

Amazing location and perfect apartment for the "setting"

Gianni’s place is absolutely wonderful—exactly as described, and then some. The view is truly breathtaking and a joy to wake up to every day. Gianni and Antonelli are fantastic hosts: warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful with local tips and anything we needed. Although the house is in Caste, it’s a perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre. Just a quick 10-minute drive to La Spezia, where you can easily park and hop on a train to any of the five towns. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all the beauty of the region!

Absolutely stunning bijou property. Breathtaking views (almost feel you are in the sea) - you are so close to it. The terrace garden was perfect for watching the sun go down. There is an abundance of shrubbery around the edges with the beautiful scent of jasmine everywhere. The property was spotlessly clean equipped with everything we needed. Exceptionally welcoming and friendly host(s). Cristine and her husband were so proactive in assisting with getting to the property from the car park. Overall 11 out of 10.

What a fantastic place. Paolo met us at the train station to help us with our luggage and guide us to the apartment. Gave us great recommendations on how to spend our 3 days. Honestly I’m not sure I can imagine a better place in Riomaggiore. The flat is on the top floor with a great terrace that is shaded in the evening looking right down on the cove with a beautiful view of the water. We had happy hour up there every night. Everything was clean and modern. Having 2 levels created a lot of space in the apartment. Would stay there again in a heartbeat if coming back to Riomaggiore.

Modern, clean designer apartment in a great location. Andrea is very responsive if you should have any questions. We enjoyed our stay in Genoa.

It always feels like a privilege to stay in someone else's home - and Federica's flat is really great, lovingly furnished, with beautiful floors, and a super view from the balcony. The downsides are minor; there's quite a climb to get to the front door of Federica's apartment, and she's on the fifth floor - which is a problem if the lift doesn't work - but she did sort the problem out remarkably quickly! We made very good use of the Metro, which is very clean, quick, and convenient. The local market was delightful (and the Oriental Market wonderful - though a bit of a journey to get to.) We slept well in the very comfortable bed - on a couple of occasions being serenaded to sleep by an owl in the local woodland. A Museum that I would warmly recommend is the Museo Sant'Agostino. The boat trip to Portofino is delightful, but take a picnic and walk up to the church - the restaurants are overpriced and not worth it. Thank-you Federica - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

An absolute dream! The house is beautiful, the view just awesome – and absolute peace guaranteed. Perfect for switching off. Enrico is super warm and totally helpful, with great hiking tips that made the stay unforgettable.

The accommodation is very clean, the pool is beautiful, be careful to have good legs to go down to town, not many buses and paid parking if you go down by car

Claudia and Dados place is very calming. Far away from the towns and citys. Fireflies at night and lots of space to wind down during the day.

Just look out of the window and enjoy the VIEW! Staying at Angelos Penthouse really was a brillant family holiday. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying life with our own private pool for the kids on the roof. Nothing more to say. 😃 Angelo and Tommaso were perfect hosts with some really good tips. We will.come back

We felt completely comfortable in Villa Millin! The house is clean and lovingly maintained. Loredana was extremely friendly, always easy to reach and welcomed us warmly. The villa is fantastically beautiful in the middle of nature - a perfect retreat to relax. The property is spread over three levels: downstairs the house with several cozy seating areas, on the middle level a Hollywood swing with an impressive view of the valley, and upstairs the pool area with loungers and a fantastic panorama of the surrounding landscape. The access is a bit adventurous, but quite feasible - and the location makes up for it. We really liked everything very much, we didn't miss anything and would come back anytime. A small note: On weekends, you can occasionally hear motorcycles from the road in the valley - but during the week and at night, it is wonderfully quiet. Overall an absolutely recommended place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa’s cottage. It is set on the hillside just 15 mins walk into Santa Margarita coast and main town. It is so peaceful and we enjoyed sitting looking out over the hills having breakfast, which Elisa kindly brought to us every day. We made good use of the beautiful pool area and it’s a great location to visit Portofino, the Cinque Terre and other towns along the coast. We were sad to leave and would 100% recommend Elisa and Matteo’s cottage. Thank you for a great stay xx

Exceptionally beautiful place. Stairs may be an issue for some but for us was fine.

Daniela is a great host! She even took over our restaurant reservations with great recommendations! The view is really priceless. Unfortunately, the swimming pool or the people living there are a little lively, but Daniela can't do anything about that. Facility super well maintained and apartment perfectly equipped! We will be back!
