Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rancho Mirage

This is hands down one of the best places to stay in Palm Springs! I first visited back in 2019, and ever since then, I’ve returned whenever my schedule allows - that’s how much I love it here. Steven and his team are always so warm, welcoming, and responsive, which makes each stay feel extra special. I’ve always appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail, but this last visit truly exceeded my expectations. What impressed me the most this time was how much prettier the interior design had become, and the biggest highlight for me was that the entire backyard floor had been replaced with grass! I used to worry about my dogs slipping when they ran around outside, but now they could play freely and safely - it made me so happy to see them enjoying themselves just as much as I was. It really feels like a home away from home, and I’m always so grateful to stay here. Thank you again for another wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!

This house was incredible! Our group had so much fun, and it was exactly as described. We did have a little mouse problem, but one of the co-hosts quickly addressed the situation. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! The pool was wonderful and the backyard and neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We were able to have David heat the hot tub for us at night with no problem at all. Great communication from the host! Place was clean and as described.

Very well appointed and comfortable home in gated community close to central Palm Desert. Pet friendly. Backyard backs up to a golf course. While neighbors are physically close, the property was quiet. Watching the geese, turtles, hummingbirds was a treat while enjoying our morning coffee. Cody was friendly and responsive. Also a short walk to the closest complex pool.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into every detail of the space. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Claire, the host. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and responsive throughout our entire stay. Whether it was offering helpful local tips or making sure we had everything we needed, Claire went above and beyond. Her hospitality made all the difference and turned a great trip into an unforgettable one. Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed! We’ll definitely be back.

our stay at Rancho Ranchito was great. we loved being able to bring our dogs and felt very comfortable in the home and outside. it was so peaceful and Serene and loved getting in the hot tub every morning. it was very private and was thankful we were able to park in their driveway behind a closed gate. it was great to have all the fruit trees and herbs at our disposal. we enjoyed every bit of our stay there. thank you Leafe and Katherine.

The home was extremely welcoming. We had reserved the home for a reunion with our friends to cook out and enjoy each other’s time. The nightlife in the area was fun and my group really enjoyed the nightlife. When it came up to the late nights we all stood up and began to enjoy the home. From cook outs to movie nights to fun time in the pool. It was an amazing experience especially for this being our weekday gate away. Really enjoy the home ! Would love to come back again soon ! 😊

If I could, I would give 10 stars! Michele was a very responsive hostess and provided everything we needed for a very relaxing weekend! The pool, and the hot tub were the highlight for us, and everything inside the home was clean and well stocked. If you’re looking for a getaway that has a great kitchen, barbecue, huge grassy area, comfortable beds, and comes with a pool, and a hot tub, than this is the place for you! Thank you again, Michele! Great place for our stay while in Desert Hot Springs/Palm Springs for a short vacation! Very clean and had everything we needed.

Mary Jane was a great host and was very responsive throughout the whole process. She even offered us one of her nicer units at the same price when our group and another group booked at the same time, but we liked the location of this one much better. It was right next to a shuttle stop for Stagecoach which was very convenient. The place was very clean, updated and was bigger than we expected. Mary even accommodated us checking in a few hours early since we got into town earlier than the normal check in time. Would definitely recommend!

Jay was a fantastic host! He was very responsive and friendly. Check in was easy and flexible. The place was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. We did come across a few ants, but Jay had a solution when we brought them up. Jay's place was 100% worth the money!

SAFE, CLEAN, Quiet & SLEEPS GREAT. As a solo female traveler, safety is my first concern. I was between work conferences, and Nathalie's casita was the perfect affordable place to stay near Palm Springs. It is SO CLEAN and well stocked. The linens and bedding are high quality, and the bed is fantastic. The extra touches made me feel like I was staying with friends (without the obligation of speaking to anyone!) I did not use the pool but enjoyed reading a book poolside. I walked in the neighborhood for exercise and to the local Juice Bar and grocery store. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance, and I always felt safe. It's a short Uber to downtown Palm Springs and the Tram (buy tickets in advance; it fills up!) My favorite things were the oversized tile shower with rainfall shower, the comfy bed, linens, and towels. Equal or better than Marriott. The entry and exit instructions and Nathalie's good communication are excellent. This is a place to return to again.

We had the best time staying at this Airbnb. We were in the area for work and Nathan’s flexibility and helpfulness for us was truly amazing! The place was clean and spacious and great location. Thank you for having us, we can’t wait to come back!

Had a nice stay in La Quinta, our first time there. Our Airbnb condo was very nice, clean and as described. The only thing I think Nino and Allie could do is update the mattress in the bedroom with something more supportive. The current is very soft and a bit squeaky. The private community was quiet, clean and had multiple pools to choose from. We had a nice time for our little getaway, with the condo being perfect for our needs, and we hope to be back soon. Thanks Nino and Allie!

If you have stumbled upon this listing, book now! This was one of, if not the best, airbnb's we've stayed in. It's spotless, comfortable, convenient, and beautiful. Britta has more amenities in this casita than I've ever come across in a rental. Games, pool floats, towels, a stocked bathroom, a bluetooth speaker, multiple coolers, books, magazines, snacks, a stocked kitchenette, etc. The casita is right outside the pool and has the most lovely little patio. I can't speak highly enough of this place. Communication was clear and thorough. If we don't return within the year, I'll be surprised. A perfect desert getaway.

Very pleased with our stay here! This rental was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway to the desert! The outdoor space is quiet and super-private. We never saw or heard any neighbors, but watched hummingbirds spar overhead as we lounged by the pool. The pool is clean and perfect for floating all afternoon, looking out at the mountains. The spa is a great way to relax under the stars after dinner. The location was great. Close enough to downtown to be a quick drive when hot, or a reasonable stroll when it's cooler. And I appreciated being able to talk an early morning jog around the area. We didn't spend much time indoors, but it's a light, airy, and comfortable space. The kitchen is up-to-date and well-appointed. Communication with the hosts and their assistant was friendly, transparent, and proactive. Very nice people! We will gladly rent this place again when we return to PS for a desert getaway! Highly recommended!

We had just a 2 night stay, and it was perfect. We were attending a local wedding so we didn’t spend too much time in the room. Space wise it is comparable to a hotel room, which was as advertised. Host ended up being flexible on arrival time which was greatly appreciated bc we got into town early. The Pool at place was wonderful (we appreciated the beach towels in the room very much!) and the location was a short walk to La Quinta resort for shopping and dining. Overall, great place if looking for a hotel type place with pool and in a beautiful setting. And the price was right! We would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay. The hosts were responsive and flexible. The home is simply perfect! High chair, pack and play for baby to sleep, and smaller utensils for a little one. I loved the theme rooms, without being overwhelmingly themed. The space made me feel right at home and wanting to come back.

My husband and I stayed for a little babymoon and it was perfect! The unit was very clean, very comfortable and more than enough space for the 2 of us. It was very well stocked with everything you could think of that you might need and felt like a little home away from home. Being 35 weeks pregnant, the reclining couch, pool within walking distance and handrails for the shower made a big difference in comfort for me. The complex as a whole was very quiet and very well maintained. We can't wait to come back someday! 5 star stay for sure!

Absolutely loved this airbnb. Had a blast at the pickleball courts and pool! The airbnb also offered a lot of things that made it easier— spices and lots of pans for cooking/wrap for leftovers, toiletries, and even hairspray. 10/10!!!

The condo itself was great, but the surrounding pools were not impressive

The whole experience was great. The staff was friendly and willing to go above and beyond. The accommodations were perfect. The property was very clean and maintained nicely.
