Waterfront holiday rentals in Putnam Valley

We had the most amazing weekend at Alice’s. She was a beautiful and gracious host. She made us banana nut bread! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the lake. I would recommend staying here and plan to be back!!

Great place for a great price! Loved all the different porches and docks and all the outdoor space and the beautiful view of the lake! Very easy to work from the bnb as well! Janice was kind and very responsive, will definitely be back!

This apartment was super clean and central to anything that you would want to do in Beacon. HsinYin was very communicative throughout the process and I would definitely stay here again.

We were recently in town to visit family, staying at Traci’s made our visit enjoyable and relaxing. Check-in was easy, the apartment was clean with a comfortable bed and a peaceful view of the brook. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, thank you Traci!

Bob, Dawn, and their dog, Cooper were the greatest hosts! We felt welcomed from the moment we got there until the moment we left. The apartment had everything we needed and more, and the shared spaces outside were very serene. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. Such a fantastic stay right in the heart of Kingston! This apartment was exactly as described and incredibly clean. Easy to get to everything in and around Kingston. Tara was a responsive host with clear instructions on how to check in/check out.

The location was absolutely stunning! The river in the backyard created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean. At one point, it rained, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio.

A gem of a home if you’re looking for a waterfront property with great lake access. David’s home is well stocked with everything you need - from baking to cooking , from laundry to great choices of board games , a nice library if reading by the water is what you care to do . If you’re a bass fisherman like me , you have direct access to Squantz Pond, which can be a great fishing alternative to nearby Candlewood Lake. The property is close to the main road and traffic can be a nuisance to folks who are not used to it . City folks like me don’t mind it. David was a great host , very responsive . There was a slight miscommunication during check in , but that was taken care of right away . My family hopes to come back again . BTW, for those who don’t know how to play the piano , take some brief lessons before coming and impress your folks. Joe

First Stavros was a stellar host. Proactive in communication and always responsive. Very attentive, we had one small interruption with the wifi that he promptly addressed before we even noticed! The house property is absolutely stunning and gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, very beautiful. The house has everything well stocked. Kitchen had plenty. I can't find one thing to comment that isn't positive. We all enjoyed ourselves to the max. The most enjoyable was the three walls full of windows that made the thunderstorms so beautiful to watch in the living room. The little stream in the back so pleasant to sit silently. The property was peaceful and beautiful and the view was stunning. My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful layout and views: The living room extends to an expansive harbor view as we opened the door. When we turn around the lofty A frame transitions into the bedroom connected by a wooden spiral stair. Interior appliances are good and functional. Plenty of Pillows and blankets to get cozy. The Weber Grill is great to use. We used public transport and Uber and it was pretty easy to get around - 15 mins to nearby scenes and restaurants.

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

We have stayed at Erik's place 4 or 5 times now. It's perfect, has everything you need. It is centrally located to surrounding towns. Erik and his parents are very friendly and always responsive. I highly recommend staying there!

A very lovely place to stay! The description matched the place exactly. We enjoyed spending a lot of time outside on the deck bird watching and even saw some fish jumping in the river. The property is also very private which was a huge plus -- no visible neighbors in any direction while spending time outside. Seth was a very responsive host and did a great job with the design of the house. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. Would love to stay again!

Perfect place for skiers. Cozy and very clean. Very close to the Hunter mountain. Karoline helped me with places to eat and was very attentive. 100% satisfaction. I will definitely be back!

Great stay! Joe was very responsive and it was a very easy check in and check out process. The space is just as described in photos and was the perfect room for a wedding at the hotel. Would stay again!

Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)

This was the perfect staycation spot for my family and I. We just wanted a quick escape from the busyness of the city, and that is exactly what we got. Diana was super helpful every step of the way. Her instructions were very clear and thorough - which made for a seamless navigation, gate entry, and entry into the condo. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated, and the additional household essentials like, a coffee maker (with coffee pods!!), rice cooker, toaster over, pots, pans, seasonings and a host of other essential items made our stay feel like a home away from home. AND, she even provided free Netflix - that was different and a nice added touch!! 👌Access the pool and hot tubs was the icing on top the cake. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon! 🙂

5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!! I would just like to say I’ve stayed in many Air B&Bs before, and this one is by far one of my favorites. The hosts are absolutely amazing. They are proactive in responding and really want you be be comfortable and making sure you have no issues. The price was 100% worth it. I love that they included board games as a part of the space, such a nice touch. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also so clean, and we enjoyed our stay. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of love and care into this place. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Loved the stay in the apartment! It was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed to have a little time when life takes over. Will for sure be booking the spot again!! The view of NYC was beautiful. Well worth every penny-one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve stayed so far! The owners are very attentive to your needs- and if you have questions they are answered promptly- couldn’t have asked for better hosts!!🤗 Thanks again for everything.

Aj's Airbnb is extremely quiet and in a fabulous location near Stevens and all of the restaurants on Washington Street. The apartment is spacious with a super comfy sofa and great view of a church steeple out of the windows. The bed is also comfortable and the bedroom has a lot of storage with two closets and a dresser--I appreciated the full length mirror as well. The elevator is such a bonus when traveling with luggage and the wide, open staircase is also very nice for coming and going. AJ was very receptive and responsive when I contacted him with a question.

Gerry’s place was a great, quiet stay for us. Close by to Kaaterskill and many other Catskill mountain attractions. Gerry was great at communicating and went out of his way to be helpful with our checkout procedures. I would definitely stay here again!
